“Thank you for a lovely special evening for my mums 70th birthday. The food and atmosphere were so nice and the staff were all so lovely and nothing was too much. They sang happy birthday for my mum which was thicing on the cake. Very reasonable priced and will definitely will be back again soon!”

“I use the diner in the mornings for a cup of tea and I filled roll. Comfortable clean and great back ground music. The service has been very good with the staff being polite and efficient. The pot of tea is 2.50 a d I get 3 full cups out the pot. The square sausage is very well cooked and hot. No complaints at 2.50. I haven't tried the burgers but I'm sure their great. My wife is disabled and in a wheel chair. Could be tight if a wee bit busy but it's a converted jewlers shop so we can't have everything.”

“Visited today (9/8/25) for Lunch and welcomed with a warm, friendly atmosphere. My son is a wheelchair user and the staff are very accommodating to that with a friendly smile at the entrance and polite attitude to ask if we needed any help. The food was phenomenal with generous portions and full of flavour! Highly recommend, we will be back again!”

“We dropped in here mid-week. First time here, and we were looking for a light early dinner. We chose upstairs. Various deals were on ..lots of choice. I'd a lovely chicken salad starter; my wife had the buttermilk chicken dippers. Both dishes were delicious! Then for mains, I'd the Katsu Chicken Curry and the boss chose fish and chips. Well, the fish was the tastiest she'd had in a while - so tasty she actually finished it all despite it being a large portion! My dish was perfect too Too full for dessert, we'd a coffee and a tea. We both had soda water and lime. The bill came to just £37 ! Couldn't believe just how good value it was! The food is lovely; the service friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere just spot on Toilets lovely and clean. Well done to all the staff who really make this place stand out”

“I visited this place for lunch with my family, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely great every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The steak pie stood out the most: rich, hearty, and packed with delicious flavour. The burgers were equally impressive, juicy and well seasoned, and my brother couldn’t stop raving about his fish and chips crispy on the outside and tender inside. Adding to our amazing food experience theservice was impressively fast, and the staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and well looked after throughout our meal. The cosy atmosphere of the place added to the charm. We’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended if you’re in the area!”

“I loved this Italian restaurant. The place has such a cozy vibe and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The staff was super friendly and always smiling. The food… amazing! The pasta was fresh and full of flavor, and the pizza had that crispy crust you can tell was made with care. The tiramisu was my favorite—one of the best I’ve ever had. “TLDR:As a foodie I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious, The service was great. Full review: The decoration is pleasent and the aesthetics match it is a modern decor. As I entered the restaurant at 7:24pm I was seen to immediately and seated at the same time. The waiter asked if I knew what I'd like to drink or if he should come back In a few minutes, I opted for that latter. After a few minutes he came back and took my order. Within 10minutes of me coming into the door, being seated / After 5 minutes of my order being placed. My food was served to me. The waiter have me two sets of cutlery. As i had ordered 2 mains, Linguine Al Salmone and Rigatone Con Salsiccsia, both mains with completely different tastes. This simple action tells me that he knows that the flavors should never mix. He asked me if I would like pepper and parmisian. I said yes, and he seasoned my dishes for me. The Linguine Al Salmon was very nice presented and dish was served very smart / clean, there was no signs of single drop of sauce being splattered around the dish. The dish was very aromatic. This dish's sauce was a lovely thick rich creamy umami based sauce which covered the pasta very well with plenty left over, this dish is served Aldente I highly recommend this if you are not sure what to have. The Rigatone con Salsiccsia consisted of a tomato based spicy sauce, the sauce is definately spicy with subtle sweet tones complimenting the dish along with meat, the sauce is just enough to cover the pasta without flooding it and not undercoating it. This dish is also served aldente. I highly recommend anyone to come try the food here.”

“I have never had such good food. The special nights where there is themed food is an absolute joy. The chefs care so much about what they are creating, and you see it on the plate. They accommodate one of my children who is a picky eater, and make her a special dinner not on the menu. And to top it off, its not even that expensive. The bar staff are so friendly. I couldn't praise this pub and staff more. If i was to guess, i think ive ate here about 10 times in the last 6 months, and i can't wait to go back.”

“I am very picky with reviews. I will only do it when the place has either been utterly brilliant or totally absymal. Gloriosa is the former. So chilled and such a lovely, spacious interior with cool music playing. Beautiful high celings and big windows. And the staff, every one of them, were accomodating, kind, and they actually smile (not enough smiling going in these days). The waitress wasnt a robot all dolled up with fake makeup and eyelashes. She was just a nice, normal woman who listened and wanted the best for her guests. Food was 10/10. It didnt stand out as anything more than what it should be after everything that came before. Exactly what I expected from such a wonderful place and experience. I will definitely be back. Thank you. Oh - almost forgot because even if it was overly expensive, it wouldn't really have mattered but really decent prices too!”

“This place has the warmest ambiance and friendliest staff that make you feel at home. We had the Turkish pastry plate, loaded fries and the classic pancakes with biscoff spread- all were delicious, fresh and well portioned. “I've been coming in to D'Nisi for my espresso fix every day, sometimes twice, and I've got to admit I love their espresso! It is definitely the best in Kirkie, and believe me, I've tried them all. The staff are fantastic, especially Lara, Joe, and Justyna (not sure I've spelt the correct. They are a credit to the company and always make me feel welcome. I haven't had the pleasure of trying any of their food, but what I've seen served looks delicious. All round this is a fantastic coffee shop, 5*!”

“Had the most beautiful and very “different” afternoon tea today in Malmaison. It was so nice to not have the usual sandwiches and have such a lovely choice of savory pieces . The cakes and deserts were to die for and, as much as we tried, we couldn’t stuff everything in! We did get a doggy bag to enjoy the rest at home. The unlimited delicious coffee was a winner for me. The surroundings are very decadent and the booth was so comfortable. We could’ve sat all day if we didn’t have other things to do. All this was made 100 times better by the fabulous Jamal. Just the most friendly, welcoming, attentive server I’ve come across. Nothing was too much trouble, in fact, he went above and beyond to help. Jamal you are an asset to Malmaison. Thank you !”

“Came in yesterday and it was great! The pianists were amazing all of them created a great vibe for the night. The bar staff were really helpful recommending some great whiskeys, not usually a whiskey fan but they put me on to some good ones. Definitely going to be coming back!”

“We booked a special birthday meal last Sunday afternoon for a party of 8 adults & 5 children. We were made very welcome by all the staff. Cava has a lovely atmosphere, good background music ( not too loud ) and delicious food. We picked Cava as it serves vegetarian & gluten free food. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and a special thank you to our young waiter who was very patient and we never felt rushed.”

“Food is delicious with good sized portions. My friend and I have visited it a few times. The 1st time we went we ordered starters, we were so full up that we didn't have room for the main. We now order mixed starters and then go to deserts. Great value, staff are nice especially the young lad, sorry forget his name. Recommend”

“3rd Visit. All Visits have been great. Girl behind the bar is polite and takes good care of you. I never have to wait around for another drink. Food is good, well presented and very reasonably priced. The owner (I think) is also pleasant, nice lady to chat with. Dog friendly. They have little handmade dog biscuit's where the proceedings go to a good cause. Great establishment !!”
