“Rocca Restaurant Hamilton, food is fantastic, 2 minutes from the M74 motorway, parking available for diners, what's not to like, go and enjoy sensational food. Can't wait to come back.”
“Lovely restaurant with nice views. Food was great (we had the steak pie and Sunday roast) and staff were really professional and attentive. Spend around £150 for 4 including 2 rounds of drinks.”
“Brilliant place to eat. Staff are fantastic and the food was amazing”
“Yet another fabulous meal at the Coppertop last week. Lovely atmosphere, friendly efficient staff & superb meal. Steak pie is a must! Hunters chicken also highly recommend. Generous portions served quickly. Honeycomb sundaes lovely! Highly recommend this venue for good food at a very reasonable price”
“Food was brilliant. Edit: we went back and every dish was cooked to perfection and the server was lovely, I didn't manage to catch his name but he was very welcoming!”
“Great, trendy hip and relaxed modern European restaurant. Service was friendly and unfussy and food was really good. Really unexpected for the area but worth a visit. Nice for a few pints after work as well. Bit on the pricey side but worthwhile as standards are high”
“Had such a lovely lunch today at Tinto. Our waitress was so lovely, friendly and welcoming! Food was amazing, some of the best tapas I've had! Can't wait to come back.”
“Really great and friendly service, very chill atmosphere and good music. The Food was delicious! If my stay wasn't so short here in glasgow, i would have come here again to eat. :)”
“My boyfriend and I had a lovely lunch this February. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive to your needs. Lots of information given about menu items and portion sizes. My boyfriend had the seafood soup which he loved and the battered prawns which were excellent. I went for the seafood stew which was also very tasty. The portion sizes were reasonable. I particularly like the fact that it is all fresh seafood not frozen. Because I love fresh seafood I would definitely go back. I thought the prices were on the high side but as I love fresh lobster, prawns and clams, I think it is worth a treat from time to time. Love that it's dog friendly. Our overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this gastro pub .”
“A Glasgow Burger Experience Worth Shouting About If Glasgow has no shortage of great eats, this place proves it also knows how to make a seriously exceptional burger. Service is quick, friendly, and informed without feeling rehearsed. Staff actually seem excited about the menu, and their recommendations don’t miss. Prices are reasonable for the quality, making the whole experience great value. If you’re hunting for Glasgow’s best burger, look no further. This place doesn’t just serve a great burger—it delivers a burger moment. Whether you’re treating yourself after a long week or showing off the city to a friend, this is a stop you won’t regret.”
“Lovely atmosphere. Great service, cannot fault. Food was delicious. The only negatives I could say are that the service charge is added on to the bill and isn’t discretionary and I ordered a cocktail that was more expensive on the bill than on the menu. But on the whole we were very happy so didn’t raise these. Would definitely eat here again”
“Three of us had lunch at Salt & Vinegar, and could not have been happier! Fish, sandwiches, halloumi, potatoes, were very good, and even the salad was simple but fine. Typical lunch place interior, fine service, very good food. Wish it was closer to where I live, it would be a regular for me!”
“Nice wee place, italian restaurant / chippy. Portions were big, pizza was delicious although bit hard to eat because of amount of cheese on it as the base is lovely and thin so had to fold it to eat it as was soggy and floppy but very tasty. Partners pasta Ragu was delicious, again a big portion. Staff were nice, wine was lovely and ideal position on Byres Road as we were going to Oran Mor for a gig.”
“Loved this place! We are here after our afternoon in Glasgow. We had the steak pie and it was delicious! It was a yummy roast beef in a gravy sauce with a puff pastry topper, then some peas and carrots on the side. The place itself is really cute, and they had even cuter bathrooms lol. The bar wall is end to end different bottles of whiskey and bourbon, so great if you're into that. They also make other drinks and have some beers on tap. If I ever came back to Glasgow I would eat here again!”
“Great live bands. Really interesting diverse types of people that drink here. Toilets a bit smelly and unclean at times. I have always felt welcome and had a good time. Keep up the hard rock and edgy crowd.”
“We visited as a group of friends on Friday night and it was as good as I remember. Cocktails were delicious, food was top notch and our server was a lovely, friendly girl. Definitely the best in Coatbridge here.”
“We popped in on Friday and had cocktails. The cocktails were so good and better than ones I’ve had in cocktail bars. Really nice music too.”
“King Burger was phenomenal but the Oreo milkshake was on another level. Highly recommended”
“Best food I’ve had in a long time! I’ve no idea why this place isn’t packed every night!”
“Clean, comfortable, very pleasant staff. Most of all the food was great. Thoroughly enjoyable meal and superb prices. Definitely worth going to .”
“Amazing food, amazing service, and amazing whisky!! The staff were really professional, quick, and very helpful when advising on the whisky. Craig was particularly patient, entertaining our 4 year old! We'll definitely be back!!”
“The staff went above and beyond. Ross was our server and Zoe kindly dressed up as Santa for all of the kids. The kids received a present and had another staff member making balloon shapes for the kids.. the service was amazing as were the staff. Made us feel so comfortable”
“Lovely friendly local restaurant serving delicious fresh and very reasonably priced buffet. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from and try and the quality of the food was lovely. We felt very welcome in the restaurant by the staff who went above and beyond and even introduced my partner to a dish he hadn’t tried before and explained spice levels of various curries. We always enjoy a visit to this clean and cosy restaurant that is a hidden gem :) thank you guys!”
“Popped into this unique place for a coffee and a danish.Too enticing to pass as i alighted from no6 bus just up from Anniesland Cross. This venue can be anything you want. They serve Scottish, Italian and Indian cuisine. Food is all excellent, as is service and ambiance .A tad early perhaps with Xmas Deccy's but nice nonetheless. They don't open very late so don't plan an evening feast.”
“The host AJ made us feel welcome on Monday and could not be more attentive to the family. The food was excellent and would recommend Brodens to anyone. AJ what a breath of fresh air with your waitress skills. Many thanks for such a lovely evening.”
“Went there for the first time ever, had breakfast. Everything was great, service was friendly and welcoming and breakfast was nice and good value as well.”
“An Itison deal for the dome, £20 including a bottle of Prosecco for my wife and I. A bargain! Had a 3 course meal. Food was quality. Atmosphere was extremely relaxed, staff were great, attentive but not overly so. Would thoroughly recommend. Photographs attached.”
“We booked a special birthday meal last Sunday afternoon for a party of 8 adults & 5 children. We were made very welcome by all the staff. Cava has a lovely atmosphere, good background music ( not too loud ) and delicious food. We picked Cava as it serves vegetarian & gluten free food. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and a special thank you to our young waiter who was very patient and we never felt rushed.”
“Outstanding evening at Ralph and Finns looked after by the exceptional Molly. We were overwhelmed by Molly's attention to detail and personal service, the festive ambience, and our overall high quality experience. Just engaged - Molly and Ralph & Finns made this an evening to remember for my new fiancé, my brother snd sister-and-law and me. We travelled from Edinburgh and there is no question we will be back. Please see the lovely Molly in our photo!”
“A lovely place on a wet and dull day - can imagine how it would be on a lovely summer day with the pond. Food and service was great. Nice and clean venue well laid out and not cramped. Also noted as extremely dog friendly. When I pulled into the parking on the main road I didn't see a sign for the Boathouse but assumed it was that building (which it was!)”
