Just engaged - Molly and Ralph & Finns made this an evening to remember for my new fiancé, my brother snd sister-and-law and me. We travelled from Edinburgh and there is no question we will be back. “A lovely place on a wet and dull day - can imagine how it would be on a lovely summer day with the pond. Food and service was great. Nice and clean venue well laid out and not cramped. Also noted as extremely dog friendly. When I pulled into the parking on the main road I didn't see a sign for the Boathouse but assumed it was that building (which it was!)”

“100% recommended!! I had dinner with my sister just before Katy Perry concert. We had the steak&frites and the food was lovely. Cocktails were delicious and the staff were super friendly. Sam was nice and attentive. She offered fantastic recommendations. We are definitely coming back.”

“Absolutely fantastic place. Great Rock music in the background, and unlike other hard rock cafes I've been in other cities around the world, this Glasgow one actually features rock music, and not pop or commercial artists. Food was undoubtedly delicious, pretty good selection of dishes, all finger-licking. Staff was absolutely wonderful and had the chance to be looked after by the manager himself who was the kindest and coolest person ever. Offered to place a request for music songs that we wanted. Great experience, would definitely recommend, and be coming again. Be prepared for prices a bit high, it's hard Rock Cafe after all, their stuff won't be very cheap.”

“We were here for our 2nd year wedding anniversary today. It was a fantastic place to eat and we really enjoyed our dinner. The atmosphere was cool and the staff were very welcoming. We got a very good portion for our dinner and it was just perfectly cooked, it was so delicious . I am looking forward to go back next week again. “We came for a 1 night stay due to work. This hotel has a luxurious ambient vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The attention to detail is fantastic. We dined in the bar and grill and the staff were fantastic. Every single staff member we encountered from the reception to bar to dining were fantastic. The room itself (super king) was spacious comfortable and clean. The decor was very nice. Our meal in the bar and grill was outstanding so compliments to the chef. The rump roast beef was one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had. I have gone out of my way to write this review because the staff deserve it and nowadays with money being tight across the board people want to great service and this is what we were given. Will be returning and recommending to all friends and family”

“Food is delicious with good sized portions. My friend and I have visited it a few times. The 1st time we went we ordered starters, we were so full up that we didn't have room for the main. We now order mixed starters and then go to deserts. Great value, staff are nice especially the young lad, sorry forget his name. Recommend”

“Me and my partner came here for the first time for something to eat and somewhere to wait for our car to be ready to picked up from the garage. Atmosphere was great, got a soup and sandwich deal. Was lovely. Prices are good, Lee was very friendly and accommodating. Made me glad we chose this place to spend time while waiting. Highly recommend !. Will definitely be back!.”

“Popped into Boteco Do Brasil for lunch on a Monday, and it was a great mid-day treat! The place had a relaxed vibe—perfect for a quiet catch-up or a chilled start to the week. We went for the Monday tapas deal, where tapas are only £4 each, and paired it with a couple of cocktails (yes, even at lunch—no regrets!). The pina colada were strong, fruity, and refreshing, and the cocktail menu had loads of tempting options. As for the tapas, some dishes really stood out—especially the baked cheese bread balls.A couple items were a bit over-fried, but overall the flavours were vibrant and satisfying. For the price, it's a solid deal. The staff were lovely—friendly and quick without rushing us. The decor adds to the charm: tropical, colorful, and feels like a mini escape from the city. Perfect for a casual lunch if you're in Merchant City and want something a little different. I'd definitely come back—maybe next time for live music or one of their evening deals!”

“Served by David C at table 26 .. very friendly and helpful. Had booked a table so no wait , food and drinks served on time with no rush to chose our dishes. We all enjoyed our meals ,especially ice cream sundae. Free refills were very much appreciated. Will definitely be back ...oh enjoyed the music playing too.”

“Came here by chance whilst walking through shettleston with my partner and i think it’s safe to say i have been thinking about coming back ever since. The food was great (a nice pub for pub food) the drinks menu had a nice variety and the bar staff were friendly enough! Will be a go too place to drink/eat for future! :) thank you”

“Redstones Hotel Uddingston is a modern, comfortable hotel, bar & restaurant. From the menu you can choose from either a very generous side order to an extremely tasty main meal with a good choice of desserts. Prices were reasonable & the bar/restaurant area where we dined was immaculate! Covid-19 precautions were inplace throughout, i.e the wearing of face coverings, social distancing & hand sanitiser. The staff were very friendly & helpful, service with a smile! You can just walk-in or if you prefer, you can book in advance, which I would suggest doing so Friday-Sunday. There are spacious washrooms for all abilities. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden with outdoor heating & lighting surrounding the many benches & tables, lovely to Sit outside even in the colder weather. Would recommend a visit, even if just for the hot chocolate!”

“Dropped in on a busy Sunday lunchtime, we hadn't booked but they managed to fit us in with no bother, Brodies was recommended and didn't disappoint, the hash browns are off the Scale!!! Yeah think they're the best I've had, toastie had loads of filling. Great place to chill and watch the world go by, Back on 8th Oct, we had the Burgers that were excellent, really quiet and chilled place on a Tuesday night. Special offer on German Beers for October fest, Starburger £3 a pint”

“My wife and I visited here recently. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The decor is classy yet comfortable. We ordered our food, and when it came relatively fast. The food tasted as good as it looked and vegetables were perfectly cooked. The food and drinks were priced adequately, and everything came under 50 pounds. I would recommend visiting this place. We were pleasantly surprised, and I'm sure other people will enjoy it as much as we did.”

“We did the Thai cooking class and it was great fun! We were shown how to make dumplings as well as massaman curry in a really easy way that can be replicated at home. The hostess and chef were very knowledgeable and approachable. Would definitely recommend this experience.”

“Food is just your basic pub fare. Plenty of options both for adults and kids alike. Nothing spectacular but then you wouldn't expect it to be. I wanted to leave a review simply because of the service. The staff were excellent from start to finish. Took the fact my son has a nut allergy seriously and with good grace and were always smiling despite wearing many hats and being busy. These days, good service is never guaranteed so it was nice to be reminded. Hungry Horse...hope you pay them well.”

“Went in for the 2 courses for £10 lunch menu and wasn’t expecting much but our doubts were absolutely blown out of the water. The food was amazing and so too was the service. Wife said the macaroni cheese was great and I honestly couldn’t fault the soup or the club sandwich. Star of the show was those salt and chilli chips. Absolute top tier. The server was great and friendly. We’ll definitely be back.”
