“I chose to dine here last night to celebrate my graduation, and the food and service was amazing. Our server was Caitlin-Jade (might be wrong!), and she was amazing. Really friendly and efficient service, and had amazing observation skills as she went out of her way to give me a free dessert to congratulate me on my graduation. This really meant a lot to me, and just made the day even more special so thank you so much :)”

“Held my 40th Birthday Party at the old courts last week. Everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. It has real atmosphere. Michelle the host was super attentive and helped me sort out a bar tab for first drinks and a cocktail for the night. It was all very laid back and easy to deal with them - no drama. I was particularly pleased when they cut the cake into pieces for me - not a job I was looking forward to. The whole team were fab, friendly and helpful. It is so cheap to hire too! I’d definitely recommend.”

“This place is consistently spectacular. Amazingly authentic Turkish food, family run by the most beautiful friendly people and an incredibly fun and vibrant atmosphere. We come from Manchester every year for our wedding anniversary and this place never disappoints. We had the mixed meat platter for 2 and wowzers, come hungry because the portions are huge but so so delicious. We finished the evening talking with the owner into the early hours. She is a lovely lady and we will be back next year”

“Amazing experience! Everything was 10/10. The atmosphere is lovely, it's in such a lovely spot. The staff were amazing, we went for my birthday and they gave us several drinks on the house, all specially selected to couple well with each course. They all knew so much about the wine and food, which was so tasty!! Definitely would go back again and recommend to anyone”

“Had a few breakfasts here during my stay at Haven. Very consistent, no issues with quality. Recently under new ownership. Delicious sausage and bacon not cheap catering sausages like some others in the area. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ingredients given the low price, everything in the picture was a little over £14 (including a lemon doughnut that was wrapped to take out). The husband and wife owners are super friendly and genuinely seem happy to please which adds to the atmosphere. Will be returning at the beginning of April with my partner who can't wait to see what the fuss is about. Ten on Ten.”

“Was just looking for somewhere to have a quick bite to eat before the theatre. We had a pizza and a risotto and was absolutely amazing. We were very impressed and will definitely return. Didn’t give atmosphere 5 stars as we went very early so only a few in. Staff were wonderful”

“I recently tried this Italian restaurant and it was amazing! The food was super fresh and full of flavor, The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I loved the whole experience and I definitely recommend this place if you’re craving delicious Italian food The waiter (Julius) was super polite, attentive, and really knew the menu well. He made great recommendations and checked on us just the right amount without being intrusive. His attitude added a lot to the overall experience and made the visit even better”

“Called in for quick beer and bite to eat , I knew they had some nice beers. Was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed the food we ate. Great little stop if you're passing.”

“Best chippy around for miles. Never visit the chippy but this one is a real treat and we use it often. The fish served is huge and fresh and you just can’t fault it, the chips are cooked to perfection and the gravy is delicious. The proprietor is serving a tremendous treat.”

Food was beautiful, the vegan steak was an amazing experience!! & the Nutella calzone was heaven on a plate , lovely atmosphere, all The team are a credit to the restaurant watching them they were lovely to all the diners. we had Jake & young lad from lpool branch (sorry didn’t get name) were fabulous, naturally attentive ( not forced ), will definitely be eating regularly there. “Great experience we arrived to find there was a step to enter the property and my partner is a wheelchair user a member of staff was immediately on hand to provide a ramp for access with no fuss, everyone we encountered was friendly and professional the food was excellent and service swift can not fault it at all”

“Had a lovely breakfast here with quick, friendly service. The food arrived fast, and the Nutella croissant and teacakes, with honey they kindly gave rather than the usual butter, was gorgeous. My wife had a decaf mocha that she said was absolutely top notch. I'd recommend coming here and will be coming back. Fully stocked baby changing facilities in the bathroom if needed which is definitely something we noted for the future as we are expecting our first any day now!”

“Came by for a late lunch on a recommendation. You MUST order the Cacio e Pepe butter beans. (But share as a starter as massive!) had a pizza which was really good. Excellent service from Nicole overall particularly when she let me know service was already in optimal on the receipt when I said to add a tenner.”

“Great New Years evening with delicious food and amazing atmosphere We came soon after the first lockdown and had to sit outside as inside was closed but still enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. We wanted to return and NYE was the best excuse, and not the last time either. The food was hot and tasty just as stated on the menu. I had asked for a couple of changes and this was done with no fuss to allow me to have the dish the way I wanted. All the staff were working hard but in a relaxed Manor which came across as a friendly place to sit back, relax and enjoy the evening. 100% chilled vibes and top notch food.”

“We visited for the first time this morning and were so impressed. Our booking request was acknowledged (needing room for a pram), service was friendly and professional, and the food was amazing! We will definitely be returning to try the lunch menu next time, however we can recommend the full English, Welsh rarebit and Nutella pancakes, we really can’t fault anything; 10/10!”

“Our book club meets here regularly and we absolutely love it! The vibe is always cozy and welcoming—perfect for good chats and great food. Big shoutout to Olivia—she’s amazing! Super friendly, always on top of everything, and just makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for any group hangout or chill dinner spot. We feel lucky to have found it! They also cater to our gluten free members fabulously, you can’t taste the difference!”

“Excellent experience to dine here these two nights I stayed in Chester. The first night, I ordered steak, medium rare, the meat was really well prepared. The taste, the seasoning was super tasty. Tonight, my husband and I ordered lamb chops, it was AMAZING!!!! The sauce was so tasty. It’s definitely worth coming again.”
