“Amazing family swim in the lagoon pool and totem splash pad. Recently visited with our 18 month old who loved it so much. The centre was very clean and modern. £1 returnable for the lockers. The temperature was warm as was the water so she could splash about for a long time and didn't get cold at all. There was free parking also. What an amazing experience well worth travelling to if out of area.”

“I'm a new-ish gym goer and I go here for the gym, treadmill terrace, sometimes the sauna and have used the squash courts a couple of times. Such a great facility for the community. It feels like they care about making it a good space for everyone (they've made a bunch of improvements like updating the layout of the gym, new equipment, bigger soft play area). It feels pretty friendly and welcoming to me. Really rate this leisure centre”

“I’ve been coming here for an year now and to be very honest I love it! In terms of ambiance is fantastic, I see quiet a few regular faces at the time that I visit and the team is friendly and very supportive (they had to cut my locker twice due to me loosing the key during training) in terms of equipment is very well equipped and in great conditions.”

“Finchley Lido Leisure Centre is an excellent place for fitness, relaxation, and family fun. The facilities are always clean and well looked after, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. The swimming pool is spacious, with warm water and plenty of lanes, making it great for both casual swimmers and regular training. The gym offers a wide range of modern equipment, and the atmosphere is welcoming for all fitness levels. I also love the family-friendly areas, which make it easy to enjoy a day out with children. “A place where you can spend a great time with your young ones. This facility offers a lot of activities for both adult and children which includes swimming training or just a quick dip into the pool with your babies. The pool is also accessible for individuals with special educational needs which is really amazing. The huge slide inside is also worth to try. Just do not forget to bring a coin to access the lockers; you can get your coin back before you leave. Baggy park, vending machine and cafe are also available inside. You might not be able to bring phones or camera to take photo inside.”

“Incredible amneity in the area. Sure, it's not perfect but there's a large pool for lengths, separate toddler and fun pools. Sauna, steam room. Great soft play. Easy to book it all online. I think most of the negative reviews complaining about cleanliness would be more appropriate for £100+/month gyms, which Wavelengths just is not. I've not noticed the soft play being dirty, nor the pools themselves.”

“Got great memories of coming to this place between 2010 - 2013... All the old staff were cool. Daniel Doyle (I think that is his last name), a lady called Simone (who was my dedicated trainer) and there was a black gentleman called Thomas (I think) but I could be wrong; he was actually a personal trainer but he gave me amazing free workout advice which I still incorporate to this day. I remember other staff faces but I dont remember their names! Wish them all the best wherever they are now. Crazy how time flies.”

“If you want to have a really nice and relaxing massage given by a very experienced therapist. I definitely recommend you Shifa therapy. She does an excellent job. Moreover I had a frozen shoulder and pinched nerve issue and was supposed to go under second surgery in a year. But two sessions of physio therapy with shifa saved me from surgery. Feeling much better . I strongly recommend you to visit shifa therapy.”

“I love my regular swims here with my husband. If you pick swim times carefully never seems overly busy. Sunday one to avoid! Cleanliness ok rather than brilliant but staff try hard. Ladies changing room cold in winter.”

“Rachel is an amazing swim teacher. I’m older and have knee problems, so I was nervous about starting lessons. From day one, she made me feel comfortable and safe in the water. She adjusted every exercise to fit what I could do. She focused on gentle movement and steady progress. She never rushed me but always encouraged me to keep going. Now I move more easily and feel stronger after every session. Rachel’s patience and support have made a huge difference in my confidence and mobility.”

“I attended the BETTER Classes, lead by Jackie who is a friendly approachable instructor. Also has years of experience so can guide you as needed. After a health issue I was losing confidence, but enjoyed the class and regained confidence in myself and what I can do to improve my health and lifestyle. Also others in the group were friendly, non judgmental, and fun.”

“Had my son's 5th birthday party here last weekend and had a ball. Our host Gemma looked after us perfectly and made sure we had everything we needed. The community room and kitchen was clean and tidy - it was perfect for serving food, playing party games and came with soft play items. The surprise highlight was the bouncy castle (more like bouncy obstacle course) upstairs in the sports hall. It was mega and the kids (and some adults) loved it! Highly recommended as a venue for kids birthday parties.”

“Great big thank you the team at the centre, in particular the manager (whos name I've forgotten, sorry). We requested at very short notice to hire the fitness studio for a last minute rehearsal. The manager was very nice to deal with, and went the extra mile to accomodate our requests. Even allowed us to use the bigger gym space when we realised our numbers were so many that the studio space was too small. Fantastic experience. Thank you again”

“I recently joined and after my first week, I’m really pleased with the experience so far. The induction in the gym with Alena was especially helpful. She explained everything clearly and made the whole place feel welcoming from the start. The gym itself is well-equipped, clean, and comfortable to train in. “I’ve been doing group swimming lessons at Kings Hall Leisure Centre for a while now, and I just realised I’ve never left a review even though I’m really happy with the service and staff! The pool might be a bit old and dated, but it’s always pretty clean, and everyone there is super friendly. My swimming teacher, Ileana, is honestly the best! I actually go there just because I enjoy her lessons so much. She makes every class fun and always mixes things up with diving, jumping, and different swimming styles to keep us excited. Thanks so much for giving me confidence in the water and for making learning to swim such a fun experience!”

“I had a truly wonderful experience at the Castle Centre. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the customer service was a perfect 10/10. The receptionist, Abdul, was extremely polite and helpful. He explained the membership prices clearly and took his time to make sure I understood everything, which meant a lot to me as I have a learning disability. In all my years visiting the Castle Centre, I have never met anyone as kind, patient, and supportive as Abdul. He really went above and beyond, and I’m very grateful for his outstanding service.”

“Honestly looks a bit sketchy at first, but it’s so lovely. It faces the water, it’s spacious and super clean. I will definitely be returning. It’s such a nice location and close to so many nice places to eat and hangout. Pretty safe too. I wish the room had a thicker blanket and maybe a bathrobe because the bathroom and shower area isn’t in the rooms and it’s an apartment sort of a situation, and I don’t think anybody would want to get see in the halls in their towel by a stranger. The kitchen was also nice and clean and had a microwave, fridge, oven, washing machine and plates etc. They had a kettle too, but it was pretty dirty and definitely not in a usable condition. They also had tea bags, coffee, milk, shower gel, moisturiser and shampoo etc.”
