“I cannot get over how wonderful these guys treat my furbabies. We have called with questions regarding them at all hours and it's never too much trouble to answer and advice us. Our pets love them they feel comfortable here unlike previous vets where they have been so scared they soiled themselves. Here they explore and get affection from staff. Through a long battle of ups and downs with my boy Snow, some incredible surgeons and clinicians, he has a good quality of life that he wouldn’t have had-he quite literally wouldn’t be here without them. The costs are for expert care and specialists in their field, with a range of equipment and runnings costs behind the scenes. I appreciate everything the team does and continue to do for my animals, especially when it comes to Snow. I really hope that the staff are all compensated for what they do, whether that be in their opinions on the daily practice or their wages as they truly are incredible. “I would like to write some positive experiences with Lower Earley branch. Proactively remind me about next collection of medication. Answers all questions over telephone calls. I had to do 2 claims recently and learning about the process, when you raise any claims on pet insurance portal if you give direct branch email, process will be smooth because branch is very responsive once they receive email from insurance provider. Very happy with service.”

“I can only say how amazing this visit was, Emily treated my boy with care, compassion and was expertise. Emily could see how nervous he was and found the two areas that were causing him pain and gave us the medicine he requires and discussed a plan moving forward so his pain could be managed on a day to day basis. Her professionalism not only put my boy at ease but also me and is a credit to your practice.”

“Been coming to Elm Cottage with all our animals (cat, dog and bunnies) for several years and always had a great professional service. We recently had to put our cat to sleep and the service received by the vet team was superb, caring yet professional. Our dog looses her usual bouncy confidence once in the door but at each vet visit gets given so many treats and cuddles from the vet so she doesn't mind going. Highly recommend!”

“I transferred to this vet around 4 or 5 years ago during a very stressful time with my cat (he was very sick) after I wasn't fully satisfied with the care at my previous vets. Honestly, it was one of the hardest years of my life, and they truly did all they could to help and support both my darling Finnian and myself. Sadly, I did lose him to an unknown illness, but I will always owe that extra year I got with him to this amazing group of people. He had to be put down in the early hours of the morning during lockdown and saying goodbye to him in the car park knowing how scared he must have been was the absolute worst thing but I know he was so loved and cared for by the team until the very end. I can not thank the everyone at Donnigton and Eastcot vets enough. I will continually proudly take all my pets to them, knowing they will always get the best care. You should all be very proud of what you are achieving, simply outstanding.”

“Took my 12 week old Cocker spaniel Murphy in for his second set of vaccinations. I was a bit anxious as he has never been to a vet with me before but he absolutely loved it there, the ladies on reception made such a fuss of him and he was lapping it up. Hamid the vet was very professional and I’m not sure if Murphy actually realised that he’d been vaccinated his tail never stopped wagging . Future care was discussed with me and I’m pleased to know that Murphy will be in good hands.”

“Our cat Tilly was taken to Larkmead after being attacked by a dog. Unfortunately, Tilly did not survive her injuries, but I believe that they did absolutely everything they could to save her. The staff at Larkmead were incredibly caring and very sympathetic in dealing with us. Lovely people.”

“I had never used this practice until one of my cats was hit by a car and he needed to be seen before my regular vet was open in the morning. The staff were really lovely, kept him comfortable and arranged his referral to a specialist vet for surgery. 100% recommend this practice and my huge thanks to all who looked after Cuddles. He’s recovering well at home now.”

“Chris felstead- I have been with him for 10 years. Other vets fail to correctly diagnose and their response to all appointments has been in leave in Overnight or carry out extortionate tests. 99% have failed to identify, where Chris has always recommended at home treatments where possible. I no longer have insurance since it was tripled with no explanation and no ongoing illnesses, and so all treatments are self funded. I really wish that veterinary practices were more fairly/reasonably priced, but understand that this is a huge money making industry. I am very nervous and sceptical about booking any other vet than Chris. Have standards / qualifications dropped in this field or do many no longer care? Perhaps their owning companies have set financial targets per appointment?”

“I have used Castle Vets for over 20 years. Everyone is lovely and kind and I always feel like they love my pets (nearly) as much as I do! It’s a bit out of the way from where I live now, but I still can’t bring myself to change. My dog might never forgive me!”

“This veterinary center is truly fantastic! The reception staff, vets, and nurses are all incredibly kind and welcoming. I come to this vet specifically even though I live much further away! In the past, I've had experiences where other vet clinics were hesitant to approach my dog just because he barked a few times and wanted to muzzle him. However, Crossroads gave us the time we needed during appointments to help my dog get used to the smells and gradually train him to feel comfortable with the vets. Thanks to their patience, my dog likes going to the vets. They really took the time to understand our needs and never judged us. They even support us by incorporating our own training techniques. They’re very thorough in identifying potential issues and always take the time to answer all of our questions. I’m so thankful for the Crossroads team—thank you!”
