“Had a flyer through my door with great photo's of their Thai food, so I thought I would try them. I thought my Thai Green curry was pretty good but after having one from their menu I was amazed ! it was stunning, so good I went back the following week and then also with the girlfriend and then the following weekend with 2 friends, we were all very very impressed with the superb menu stunning food and great service, give them a try you will not be disappointed. “We held our company offsite at EPH and their team truly delivered an exceptional experience! The meeting elements were all organised very well and the catering was great throughout. The hotel is stunning with high ceilings, spacious room and modern fittings. We also held a 'Traitors' experience in their dining room which was amazing. Special thanks to Kathy, Sue and Zoe. We will be back!”
“I’ve been here twice now and the staff are really friendly and clearly a strong team. I had the truffle burger and chips option in the meal deal with the room and it was gorgeous. The burger was cooked just right, the chips crisp and fluffy, the mushroom done just right so it wasn’t leaking juice everywhere. Staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to take pride in the service they offered.”
“What a great find , quaint , charming in a beautiful setting , the room was modern with a studio style and the bathroom was wonderful ! We had breakfast on both days which was really cooked well and very good from a budget perspective . I would just like to say a special thank you to Peter the general manager for being a great host , and super helpful . The hotel is in a beautiful village with 3 great pubs , all in walking distance . " We shall be back " Steve and Dawn”
“Very nice. Took about 45 minutes for my food to come out but friends came within 10 minutes. But tasted lovely”
“The finest pub in East Hampshire. Over 200 years of pouring fine ales, 250 years family tradition. They have excellent food, great local ales and real fireplace.”
“We had a lovely night stay at this lovely hotel. The drive up to the house through the arch way of trees was beautiful. The gardens and views are perfect. The price was fantastic for staying in such a beautiful old historic building. The gardens are wonderful for a stroll after breakfast and there’s a lovely old church In the grounds. It was quiet and peaceful. Food was good and plentiful. My only negative was the room where breakfast was served was very corporate and wished it could have been in the restaurant we ate in the evening as the views are so beautiful and a shame not to see it in the morning whilst eating our breakfast.”
“My girlfriend and I loved our stay at The Miller of Manfield, in October. Breakfast was fantastic, the staff were super helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. We loved the room, the retro-modern decor, the fantastic bathtub and the location, in the village. The pub and restaurant were also great places to come in the evening, with live music one night of our stay and a good atmosphere throughout.”
“Highly recommend for private events. Rosie, Claire and team are excellent, highly efficient and organized. They make large parties easy. We've now had two 60-80 ppl events in their private space and have zero complaints.”
“Great room, had a breakfast bar area, fridge, nice big shower. Very clean too! - no parking really on the street in front unless it's for like 2/3 hours but there is a rugby club 10 mins walk that let you park for £4 per day which is great.”
“Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Bobby and Claire, who promptly assisted with parking arrangements. Their exceptional service has significantly enhanced my perception of the Premier Inn brand. I would like to formally commend these individuals to the management for their outstanding contributions.”
“Great value for money. Rooms super clean, comfy beds, great breakfast (although a little pricey if you're not that hungry - but if you are, then full your boots!). Very friendly team too!”
“Me and my girlfriend decided we would try out the food in this fine establishment. We bought a drink at the bar then was taken to our seats to order food. It happened to be steak night and our waiter (Luke) was absolutely amazing, with good old British banter but also very professional. I always get a Rib/eye steak, but like recommended something else by like and I was not disappointed at all. My other half got fish and chips which was cooked to perfection, and oh my god the beef dripping chips are to die for! We will 100% be back, and give Luke a raise because he deserves one!!”
“Staff very welcoming. Excellent location. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good with an excellent variety of food. The chef was very accommodating cooking different types of eggs to order.”
“Overnight stay. There dinner bed and breakfast offer was great value for money. As long as you know your going into an older building on busy road in the centre of the village you will be happy with the service and quality of food”
“We attended Trunkwell for our work Christmas do in the wizard of oz themed space. Oh my goodness what an experience we loved the whole thing, the Decor, food and drinks were amazing. LOVED the dodgems ! One girl in particular- Patsi went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time ! She greeted us so warmly, and checked in through out the whole event - nothing we asked was a problem. She really did stand out during the whole running of the evening. She’s a great asset to your team! Please pass our thanks on! We cannot wait to return !”
“Booked very last minute when we found ourselves in the area. Had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the Thames. It was a very hot day but the hotel had catered for this with a quiet Dyson fan and by ensuring the curtains were closed during the heat of the day. Amazing setting, really lovely food. Especially the breakfast menu. Highly recommend.”
“Really nice hotel rooms. Ideal for a business overnight stay. The 1560 lounge and bar in Mansion House was a nice place to dine and relax. Breakfast in the main building was great too. Highly recommend, would go again. Special thanks to Ellie at reception, great customer service!”
“I'm a regular visitor here for stays with work. Rooms are nicely done out and breakfast bag is sufficient for what I need. Location is great in central Reading. Can be a little noisy from the bar below if you're on a lower floor but it quietens down later on and has not affected my sleep.”
“I stayed here for 3 nights in total between moving homes! Lovely area, I didn’t want to leave! Beautiful design throughout, amazing food and wine. The customer service on the bar was great, especially as we had a three year old :)”
“What a place - it understandably attracts a lot of custom and has a real "buzz" about it!! ... stayed one night and had dinner & breakfast. The rooms are "dated" but clean and quite comfortable. The staff are amazing - don't know how Wetherspoons do it. I interacted with five different staff over our stay and they were all polite, helpful and confidently spoken. Extensive menu and food served within 10 minutes of ordering. The service and value for money can not be faulted - I wish Wetherspoons could run the NHS & country! A great location bang in the centre of the charming town of Henley-on-Thames.”
“Stopped off at the Flower Pot for a pint during a walk around the area. Beautiful old pub, nice outdoor area and friendly staff. Plan on coming back soon to try the food!”
“We attended the fabulous Winterwonderland Ball in the Marquee. The Alpine bar was such fun, and the food absolutely amazing considering there wer 200 guest. We upgraded our room and it was lovely x Breakfast is the very best produce sausages and bacon outstanding x”
“A couple rooms was booked and we were very much delighted with the experience at the hotel. A double bed was provided which was very much comfortable and we had booked this hotel for an educational session for 4 days and it was with a penny. The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. There was room service for breakfast and the breakfast was very good. Room cleaning was done everyday and cleanliness was never a matter for us. Overall I would give a 5 out of 5 for the hotel.”
“Me and my family stayed here on the 5th August, we had room 19 ground floor, the ground was very clean and it’s what you would expect if you’ve ever stayed in a premier inn!!! As I seen in the reviews previously… Tammy checked us in and is so polite and always will to help!!! We stayed here to go LegoLand after a day at Chessington and is perfect for that!!”
“Our designated person of service - C-dawg - was absolutely phenomenal. Top tier service. Coming to Calico on a Tuesday night completely redirected the direction of my night for the best. Everyone loves a good karaoke night!”
“Really nice hotel, great staff and very delicious breakfast. I stayed over the weekend and there isn't even one thing l could complain about. The receptionist was super friendly, got the all information what l needed. And for the price room was really good. Would highly recommend. Big thank you to all the staff working there, keep doing a great job. Will be back for sure.”
“I had a really pleasant stay at the Premier Inn in Farnborough town centre. I was welcomed by Kinia, who was friendly and helpful, which made checking in nice and easy. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I had a good, quiet evening. A smooth, straightforward stay.”
“Had a lovely stay at this hotel for my week off! The place is modern, but not in a sad way, which I found to be nice. I was quite nervous around the pool as I am still a very new swimmer, but Becca, who was working at the time, was really helpful and reassuring! Overall a great time.”
