“Our family came for a birthday meal and received absolutely delicious Italian food and with amazing service! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor, from the perfectly cooked pizzas and pasta to the rich, savory sauces. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the entire dining experience feel warm and welcoming. It had a lovely atmosphere with a family feel. The outdoor seating was lovely on a sunny day. The prices were very reasonable for such big and healthy portion sizes. Highly recommend for anyone craving a true taste of Italy!”

“Lovely walking areas flat grass fields & paths through wooded area. There are some parking areas too. I found these fields less muddy than other dog walking areas. There's dog buns at gate & hedges away from traffic.”

“This was the 3rd time I've been to this venue with the darts . I live in cwmbran and have been invited to their darts tournaments. I enjoy it there. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is top notch. I would recommend to my family and friends. See you soon for another great day”

“Lovely quiet location for a dog walk with beautiful sculptures”

“We stayed for 3 weekday nights in a nice quiet room on the first floor. Lovely poster bed. The staff were all really friendly and helpful especially Zoe who looked after us for breakfast. Thank you for your help with regards to where to visit and gluten free options. My only criticism is the TV is too small in the room and could be better placed above the chest of drawers. Otherwise very happy”

“A great place to walk in the centre of Bristol! Queen Square is a beautiful historic park with green lawns and trees where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. There are plenty of cafes and shops around, and the square itself is great for strolling or just enjoying the quiet of the city centre. It is especially pleasant here on sunny days. A great place for a family weekend or relaxing after work.”

“Absolutely Beautiful. This secenic Woodland is Stunning there are a few places to sit and enjoy the sound of the Running Stream which runs alongside the wooded area. You can hear loads of calls from the birds. There are also bat boxes so I suspect at night you can see loads of Bats. The only downside is there is hardly any parking ! You can not park in the community centre !”

“The carnival was in full swing when we visited August 28th, great fun for a Thursday afternoon. The children thoroughly enjoyed the water balls and the hot sugared donuts were great.”

“A stunning little green oasis which is situated right in the heart of Bradley Stoke. I drove and parallel parked down Juniper Way where there was plenty of street parking. There’s a proper footpath which is accessible for prams, wheelchairs, bikes etc which takes you around the small lake. You can turn off in multiple directions depending on how long you would like to walk for. There’s also a nature reserve off from the main path. This is uphill and it is an uneven, rough pathway so not easily accessible. Great place for dogs to run around and stunning scenery and wildlife”

“Lovely natural woodland given to the community in 1937 by the local industrialist Sir Stanley Badock. It is jointly managed by Bristol City Council and 'the friends of Badock's Wood, brought back into use by great Bristol volunteers. Mostly used by dog walkers. In places within the wood you could think you were in the middle of the countryside. Look for the amazing tree stump sculptures (sadly some have been vandalised). Recent worry that the water board has put up notices that the River Trym that runs through it may be frequently contaminated by sewage overflows - dogs and children play in the water here.”

“Beautiful park with big open spaces, river and woodland walks that makes this location very special! We found it yesterday and we will definitely come back again! Having a bit more trees and meadows or flowers could potentially help to have more natural diversity but worth a visit!”

“Enjoyed a cycle ride along the promenade either way from Severn Beach. Great views towards the Severn Bridge.”

“We was with 7y old daughter and was very happy. We was on weekend and must wait 1 hour for available tickets. But area was lovely, staff very friendly. Train fantastic. Clean toilet. Nice cafe.”

“A nice quiet walk on a boardwalk to see some birds etc. The portacabin was open, which has toilets inside. Limited car parking spaces, but it was sufficient when I was there on a term time Wednesday at 11.30 am. I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

“Impressive set of Neolithic stone circles, the largest of which, comprising 26 standing stones, is one of the country's biggest. The smaller circles are located nearby, with The Cove situated a few minutes walk away in a pub garden. The surrounding rural landscape provides a pleasant backdrop. That said, the view may be very different to that in the Neolithic period, when the largest circle is believed to have encompassed rings of tall wooden pillars. Information boards are provided detailing more about the history of the circles. There's a small amount of parking nearby, but there were no free spaces when we arrived so we parked at the edge of the village and walked. These circles are a fair drive from Stonehenge and lack the high end visitor facilities, but as a result it's quieter here and still possible to get right up close to the stones. Definitely worth seeking out if you're particularly interested in Neolithic history, if not I'd recommend sticking to Stonehenge and Avebury.”

“Absolutely fantastic pool! It's one of the best pool I've visited in England in the past few years. Best thing about the pool is that it is heated. Staffs are friendly and helpful, the pool and changing room are clean. The style of colours is gorgeous. There is a small shop and resting area near the pool.”

“Wonderful old wood. Beautiful trees, lovely stream and a lovely walk.”

“Sandpits is a really good play area for children. There are swings, swing boats, a few slides of various sizes, roundabouts, climbing frames etc. The sandpit is large with a pirate ship and crocodile and other devices. The stream which runs through the area is great fun for floating toy boats down or playing Pooh sticks or paddling in hot weather. There are picnic benches, a table tennis table, goal posts for football at the top end, and plenty of grassy areas and seats. It's protected by railings all around but with easy access to the road outside. A really good children's park for all ages, and very popular, especially during the holidays”

“Had a fantastic intermediate surf lesson, special thanks to Jules who is both a brilliant coach and all-round inspiration!! Facilities are great and tons of equipment for rent. Very clean and fantastic friendly vibe. Bring your skateboard if you have one We returned a week later to spend some money in the cafe + surf shop but was told it was a £2 charge per person for the pleasure. We politely declined, but were disappointed to have to return home without a holiday memento”

“Out for a first time fossil hunt visit. Google maps takes you to the entrance and you can park on the road. Great scenic spot for walking or hunting fossils.”
