“Food is lovely, chips are essentially world famous at this point. No chip shop rivals this ones. The food is to a great standard and the salt and pepper food are incredible. Staff are lovely and caring and will always help you out if you have a problem as long as you retain a collected manner (which is a standard really isnt it). Very good altogether and very fast service too!!”

Very occasionally it takes longer and is cold, which is disappointing. However still one of my favourite takeaways in the area, reasonably priced and always tasty”

“Great new Costa Coffee. Very friendly and efficient staff. Very clean, plenty of seating inside and outside. Comfy place to have drinks. There are USB plug sockets by some of the seats, so you could sit with your laptop/phone plugged in. Toilets are spotless and the decor is lovely and relaxing. Very spacious, tables aren't too close together, so it doesn't feel too claustrophobic. Perfectly air conditioned for a hot day!”

“Came in here for lunch. The service was good and very quick. We ordered the bacon and cheese burger with fries. I didn't enjoy the sauce which came with the burger, the rest of the burger was delicious. It was a fair size and a really good price. The bacon and cheese burger was only £12.”

“Our 2nd visit, this is such a great spot to base a trip to Bath. The park itself is tidy and well run, the booking is essential but its easy and the reception on arrival is friendly and efficient. The pitches are level firm and have electric. the spacing is fine. It is a popular venue and on both of our visits September and December the park was full it is mainly campers but some caravans too. The facilities are clean and were warm toilets and showers. The site is so well placed, and it is an easy walk along the river path to two local pubs, both very good. Getting in to the city on foot on bike or using the park and ride buses which are cheap regular and just a few minutes walk away. We will be back for sure.”

“It's a beautiful place teaming with nature. An abandoned trout farm with surface water pools amongst watercourses and thick vegetation including in Summer stinging nettles and hawthorn sloe fruit, blackberries etc. I saw alot of birdlife including a pair of red kites, bussards, ravens, swallows & house martins. It's surrounded by lovely open countryside including open wheat fields where hundreds of wood pigeon eat the crop's seeds.”
