“Had a broken crown replaced that had been put in by another practice and I had never been happy with but tolerated for a number of years. Needing a replacement encouraged me to look elsewhere and I finally picked Longniddry Dental Practice, close to home and lots of positive feedback from friends and neighbours. David Brown took time to talk through all of my options and we agreed a short whitening process followed by a new crown. I was really impressed with the practice as a whole, friendly and helpful reception team, great dental nurses and a dentist that really strives to achieve the best possible outcome. The staff took time to understand what I wanted as a solution and gave me options making sure to talk through them all. The costs were very fair and reasonable and I am happier with my teeth now than I have been for at least 20 years. New crown and whiter teeth and I can’t stop smiling and don’t have to hide behind my hand in photos. Thank you for excellent and caring service and I would highly recommend.”

“Always recieve a warm welcome from Heather who always makes you feel at ease and relaxed. Very attentive and understanding as I had a previous bad experience at a Broxburn dentist decades ago and had been really apprehensive about having my teeth examined again. That was 3 years ago and I actually look forward to my visits to the Craigshill Dental Practice. Visited again today for my yearly check up. As Heather was on leave I was seen by Ben. Again as with Heather the service was exceptional as was the greetings and support from from Sophie and Danielle. I cannot recommend the Craigshill Dental Practice highly enough. Exceptional Dentistry and support which is second to none”

“A great first visit to this soft play. The girls working were fantastic and so helpful. Coffee was great and good value for money. Kids really enjoyed it, will definitely return. Only thing I would say is I did need my coat, it’s chilly when it first opens. Didn’t affect the kids though.”

“Recently venue has had renovation done. Amazing work. Added karaoke booths can book 1.5hr slots and enjoy. There is laser tag that is so affordable. Extra bowling lanes have been added. Great for small groups or large groups. Pool tables still there. This place has it all for families, large groups, individuals, date night or small groups. Tenpin bowling you can reserve a slot online or walk in (might need to wait if busy). Reasonable prices. Venue has an arcade games. They sell food, snacks, sweets and alcohol. Open till 11pm every day. Really great venue.”

“We didn't have a room but went for lunch. Our server Irving was very friendly and helpful. He had just gotten back from a trip to Canada which is where we are from so we had a lot to chat about. Had the soup, small portion of fish and chips and the special burger with haggis. Everything was delicious.”

“I have been a client of this dental practice for nearly 30 years now and the standard of care and dental work is absolutely outstanding. A lot of people I know of a similar age have poor teeth and I don’t. I can only surmise that a significant element of that situation is due to me having Edinburgh’s best dentist. 3 years ago, one of my teeth cracked and the front of it fell off. It looked terrible! Alex fixed it for me and now I can’t even remember which tooth it was, the repair was so good. Recently visited for prospective root canal but this ended as an extraction, which was the clinically correct but not very profitable option for the practice, however they put the best outcome for me rather than profit first. I would imagine you would struggle to become one of their patients these days, but if you can, you should.”

“Make your own hamper at The Store, Hamporium. What is the Hamporium you ask? Well the very lovely and talented store team at Restoration Yard have created a spectacular in-store hamper display filled to the brim with foodie fayre ready for the festive season ahead – a spectacle that Willy Wonka himself would envy! Restoration Yard is stocked with amazing local, Scottish and independent food and drink producers. Your wee eyes will twinkle with delight, your jaw might even drop at the incredible range of tasty treats in store. The Hamporium has a number of ready made hampers available on their website but you can also make your own bespoke hamper. And this is exactly what I did. It was filled with goodies for a perfect cosy Christmas night in. Red wine, crackers and biscuits for cheese, hot chocolate and stirrers, chutney, cured meats, truffle nuts and mince pies. If you fancy heading in store to select and choose your hamper, Dalkeith Country Park, Restoration Yard is approx 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh City Centre. There is plenty of parking, loads of shopping, a fabulous cafe and The Kitchen, a superb restaurant. Plus a great park to wander around. The grounds and the courtyard outside The Store are dog friendly and there are several small cabins selling hot drinks and treats in the courtyard too.”

“Highly recommend. Brought my daughter to the zoo for her first birthday and visited the soft play while we were there. My daughter loved it. Very big with loads to get up to. Big slides and the baby area is brilliant as well. Very clean. The little cafe is good serves your normal food and it was served roasting hot. The floor however was very dirty, but to be expected when there’s loads of kids in and out. Plenty high chairs as well. Friendly staff. Also a very good price as well. I went during the week day at half past 3 and it was practically empty. Decent long sessions as well for the price.”

“Was in Edinburgh at the weekend to watch the snooker great venue great match”

“One of the nicest sites we have camped at. Great pitch size. A busy site, but didn't feel too crowded. The toilet and shower facilities were fantastic and extremely clean. Great showers. Cubicles had plenty of hooks for our clothes/towel/bag etc. Nothing got wet. Plenty of hand basins, with light up mirrors, and single Cubicles as well. Well stocked shop with reasonable prices. We were 2 adults camping so didn't use the playground or games room, but both looked great. The staff were pleasant, polite and friendly. Excellent location for Edinburgh city centre. Bus stop just outside drive entrance, with regular buses. Would not hesitate to recommend.”
