“We arrived around 10 p.m. on Tuesday. There were quite a lot of people, but some free tables were still available. The bar has a good selection of drinks — whisky, beer, cider, and others. There was a really nice vibe with a friendly atmosphere.”

“10/10 the hotel staff is so friendly. They answered all of our questions kindly and to the fullest extent. We had a few questions throughout our stay and either called down or visited the desk. The building is also an old historic hospital which just adds to the charm. Breakfast was tasty, the room was cozy. We would come back for sure!”

She made our visit feel special from start to finish. There’s a lovely selection of food and drinks, and the overall experience was fantastic. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Excellent hotel. We stayed in an executive room after a free upgrade which was dreamy. The rooms were clean and bright, though there's some light staining on some of the carpet. Nothing too bad, probably just needs a refresh. Showers were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. It's about a 5/10 min walk to Victoria Street, so about 10/15 to the Royal Mile. Overall - fantastic for a stay in Edinburgh.”

“First time here. I like that its a bit out of town away from the crowds. Just a 10min drive gets you right back into it. The restaurants, coffee shops, & views out here are great. Room was lovely. The shower was hot & I took a long one with no issue. That's always my fave. Bed was comfy & staff made it every day since we opted out of the discount to skip service. If you like you can & thru give you a drinks credit. But we dont really drink. Also who doesn't love a nice made room after a long day walking around. Would recommend to others who want to visit Edinburgh. There is scaffolding on the building right now. Bit ugly but upkeep happens. Free parking right behind hotel was nice to have.”

“Room was a little old but still very comfortable to stay in. The location in particular was really fantastic; we really appreciated the flat road to and from Edinburgh Waverley which you certainly wouldn't get if you lived in the Old Town area! Lots of food options around the hotel. Great service and staff were always happy to help with queries.”

“I've used the Premier inn Hub before and I love them. The rooms are small but if all you need in a room is a place to sleep and a place to wash with a TV to chill with at night then that's fine. Downstairs is lovely you can order some foods but they only have 5 items (which I'll add the menu if you want to see what) but if you want to gonout for food ans drink you have alot of choice from an indian up the road to adventuring the old town and a walk across to Princes street you'll find something. They do have a good selection of drinks if your wanting a nice quite night in”

“Live music was great (Amberlights), and the bartender was super nice too! Maybe the place needs more seating or better seating. The chairs are like a mismatch and not the most comfortable.”

“Upon arrival I was provided some interesting tasting popcorn. Rib eye steak cooked to perfection with delicious flavour. Extra thick cut chips crisp on the outside, buttery smooth on the inside. Crisp, fresh salad. I could not fault the service or the food. Thankyou”

“My favourite whole food shop in Edinburgh. You can find everything you need here, such as grains, nuts, sauce, jam, pasta, noodles, snacks to vitamins. The list goes on! Loads of products you can’t find elsewhere. Price is on the high side but it is worth it! 5 minutes walk from St James Quarter.”

“Wandered in on 28th October with my nephew after a long day. Intimate and charming little Italian. The food, lasagne and calzone, was first-rate, and the girl serving could not have been any more friendly nor helpful. The montage of Italian culture on the wall is superbly done and adds to the engaging atmosphere of the place. A particularly rewarding experience after the offhandedness we experienced earlier that day at Coates Cafe along the road. Will definitely be back.”

“We were pleasantly surprise to find a place in Edinburgh which served "all you can eat" buffet and there was plenty of vegetarian food. Not only there was continental food but a lot of Indian including Dosa, mutter paneer, chili paneer, dal tadka, pani puri, bhel, pav bhaji and a lot more. Desserts included Jalebi and Gulab jamun. A very courteous team of people who were willing to help at every step. Absolutely awesome experience.”

“I come to this Nando’s nearly every week with my partner and daughter, Love the food but I’m giving this review too a man named James, we come in and out can tell this guy loves and cares about his role in the company, Always happy, always spares a couple minutes to ask about our week and goes the extra mile to give us a great service every time. “Absolutely exquisite, really good turkey that. Very much enjoyed my Sunday roast, lots and lots of fun. I will be returning hey there! the other person at the table here. that sunday roast was sublime. “Love place for drinks and watching the footy. The little huts outside are great for a small group with its own tv and table service makes it ideal for the match. Food was great too and not bad value for a capital city pub bang in the middle of the city centre”
