βStayed here overnight 21 august 2025 as we were going to meadowfield to see acdc. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 5. The room was lovely, comfortable bed. Breakfast was perfectly cooked, quality ingredients. Really can't fault this hotel, would gladly stay here again.β
βSite staff are friendly and very welcoming, the site is clean, shower and toilet facilities are immaculate. The site was packed but there was still a relaxed friendly atmosphere about the site. We will visit again on our next excursion north and would recommend this site. To the staffβ¦β¦great work guys itβs nice to see people that understand the value of customer service.β
βI would like to take this opportunity to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Premier Hub in Haymarket. After a few teething issues when I arrived outwith anyone's control. Staff members Jordan and Stefania were indeed extremely helpful in finding me, a nice clean on suite room at short notice. I found all the facilities to be well maintained and clean and the wider access accessibility entery. All in all it made my stay in Edinburgh all the more enjoyable. The aforementioned staff are a credit to the Premier Hub organisationβ
βWhat a pleasant stay! The staff were lovely, the room was spacious, clean and well appointed, particularly the bathroom! The hotel is located a 15 minute walk away from town centre, so it's great if you don't mind a walk. It means the local area is quiet compared to staying in town centre. Would definitely stay again!β
βWas last at this establishment 4 years ago. Booked a bigger room, located on the 5th floor, was very quiet and peaceful, the room had a reasonable view over the rooftops. Largely the room was fine, however small matters like the curling wallpaper and stained carpets tainted our overall experience. On a positive note the bed and bathroom were excellent and we had a good and peaceful sleep each night. Continental breakfast which cost Β£6pp, was good value and set is up for the day ahead. Brilliant location, very central for transport, shops and eateries.β
βThis is an excellent hotel for the price. As soon as we arrived, we were well greeted and given tourist information about the area. The rooms were clean, breakfast was tasty and the price was reasonable for the area. The only negative is the free wifi was terrible or purposely throttled as the hotel wanted guests to pay for the premium wifi. Regardless of the slow internet, we would come back to this hotel on our next stay in Edinburgh.β
βWe truly enjoyed our stay at the Parliament House Hotel. Room was perfect and comfortable and shower and bath was nice, with toiletries and hair dryer provided. We had an upper floor and needed to walk up a few flights of stairs which we didn't mind, but lower floors have direct access to the lifts. The room was clean with coffee and tea and cookies provided. Loved being near Calton hill and the price we very reasonable compared to similar hotels. I would definitely stay here again.β
βStaying at Malmaison was a great experience. Arriving from a red eye at 6:30am, we weren't expecting to be able to get into a room until later that afternoon but they were able to upgrade us when we arrived for only Β£20! The room was spacious and modern with a moody flair. Would definitely recommend the stay there.β
βVery nice and cozy apartment. Well located, less than 5 minutes walk to the Royal Mile. There are also a lot of restaurants and bars in the area. The apartment was quite big, the kitchen was well equipped, the washing machine and coffee machine were a great bonus. I totally recommend it for those who visit the city and want to experience living in the old town!β
βWe stayed here for two weeks recently and had a great experience. The location is walkable to the train station and the shops and there are grocery stores nearby. The rooms are clean, well stocked and comfortable . The front desk staff, especially Katherine, are friendly and helpful. This location is approximately 30 min from the airport and a taxi is approximately 35 pound fare. Would definitely stay here againβ
βWe loved staying here, we got everything we needed. The reception staff were absolutely splendid to deal with, particularly after being aware we had just got off a flight from Australia. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The location is a convenient 15-20min walk to the city centre. Any buses or trains we needed were available from the very close Haymarket Station. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Edinburgh. Thank you!β
βGreat staff, close to all, good stay Great location, fantastic daily breakfast and could take things for lunch they supplied disposable boxes! Staff we encountered were lovely. Room very match box size, no mini fridge or fan - needed as was so hot no aircon. Environmentally friendly practices top marks: opt out of daily room cleaning, measures food waste - this is displayed to see in dinner.β
βHuge shout out to Lewis/Louis who helped us in the middle of the night navigate the Edinburgh emergency medical services and helping us get a ride to hospital at 0400! Great place to stay with a full kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a lot of room for a European place to stay. The building is beautiful from the outside, and well decorated inside. The front desk is the bar area and check-in was done via tablet and very quick. The host helped us with keys, went over a few things and gave us directions to our room. The bedroom had more than enough light, a big window (not much of a view), a comfortable, clean bed and adequate plugs to recharge electronics. The small bedside lamps were great for low light and reading in the evening. The bathroom was big and had more than enough room for two people to get ready about the same time. The only real compliant is one of almost every European hotel - no plugs for a hair dryer and the lighting is not very good for a woman to do her makeup. The kitchen area had a full sink, enough plates and silverware for four people, mugs, cups, and wine glasses. The refrigerator was very large and the washer/dryer was neatly tucked away in a large cabinet. In the "living room" area was a couch, a chair, small desk with an office-type chair, and a pull out smaller table from under the desk. The Marshall Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch. Next to the desk was an armoir that had a mirrored door and contained the iron, ironing board and small safe. Room 205 is at the end of the hall so it was very quiet the entire time we were there.β
βWe've often seen a show here for the Fringe but not prepared to pay over the odds for a room. However, we did have a meal here this week which was excellent. It's a small, relaxed bar area. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Prices surprisingly reasonable too, especially during the Fringe. Will definitely return for a meal on our next visitβ
βSuch a beautiful location. We had the castle view and it was awesome! But what made our trip was the front desk - Alasdair! My mother and I loved him. He is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and we always hoped he was at the front desk when we came by. We will book again just for him because he truly loves his job/Edinburgh and you feel it from the moment he greets you!β
βAbsolutely perfect city centre location, a stones throw from Edinburgh Waverly Station. The rooms are an excellent size compared to some hotels in the city centre for a competitive price. Very clean room and a nice lounge bar areaβ
βThe staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and beautiful. It's like your staying in someone's home. And the location is just perfect for getting around.β
βReally liked our 3 nt stay here. The place is dated but that adds to the charm of it. The location is really good and only a short walk to the centre of town. Breakfast is available (not a cooked breakfast) but you can get cereals, bars, smoothies and other small items up to 15 items per person delivered to your door each morning using a tick sheet you leave downstairs with coffee available downstairs. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy staying here again.β
βStayed at the hotel from September 16-18, the duty manager, and all staff were so wonderful. When we checked out I was waiting for my partner to grab the car and sitting with my bags and the duty manager went and grabbed me a coffee. Room was clean and comfortable, spa was great. Highly recommendβ
βLOVE THIS HOTEL! You walk inside and in but a moment you've entered this beautiful, modern oasis...your new home away from home...in one of the world's most extraordinary cities!! The reception desk staff are some of the most gracious and patient people I've had the pleasure to meet and interact with... They set the mood beautifully. My room was on the front side of the hotel and from my modern room the ancient building across the way was a perfect "opposites attract" kind of moment! Everything about my room was quirky, fun, hip, and most comfortable and quiet!! The giant shower was equally decadent and soothing all at the same time! My giant bed was sooooo equally comfortable and soothing after long days of walking all over Edinburgh.... Just saying! The breakfast buffet in the very nice dining room was quite delicious and full of choices that should appeal to even picky eaters. The staff aim to make everyone happy and I think they succeed beautifully! The neighborhood is quirky and the hotel is just around the corner and a short walk from Edinburgh Castle! I highly recommend this well-appointed modern hotel and the great team of personnel who all make it tick with great ease and excellence! Bravo!!β
βWe stopped there at Sunday afternoon just for one beer because of historical value. However, Kamil, Craig, Martin, Harri, Archie were so amazing and helpful that we spend there alomst five hours. We had such a great time and experince. We also got a option to try historical skittle alley. It was such a fun. So we highly reccomend to vist this place. Thank you for everything Marika, Zuzana and KateΕina.β
βReally nice hotel. Friendly staff - and fellow guests! My room's WC was across the hall, which isn't perfect for a prostate cancer survivor, but it was private. Everything else tickety-boo.β
βWe loved the room, it was very spacious, spotless clean and comfy. High standard. We were positively surprised by the size of the room. Tea, coffe and a kettle and treats in the room was a nice touch. However the best was the amazing owners who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. We would definitely like to visit this place again and highly recommend it!β
βWe stayed in the Rosehall Hotel for a week and we really liked Our stay here. The Hotel is located quite central, you can take several buses and be in Edinburgh oldtown in like 10 Minutes. But the Dalkeith Road in itself is very quiet. The house is a Nice old (victorian?) building with original architectual elements that are complimented by the newer Addition to the interior. The Hotel is Not your cookie-cutter modern Business hotel but a cozy historic and personal place to stay. The Service was always Nice and helpfull, Our room was very cozy and the Breakfast was simple, cheap and tasty. We would stay here again :) Cheers from Hamburg, Germanyβ
βI loved my stay here: close to everything and the staff was just so warm and happy that you are staying with them! I paid cheaply for two nights too!β
βPerfect location, brilliantly clean apartment. Met Lynn on the first morning, showed us everything we needed to know. Everything was in walking distance. Tea, coffee, sugar and local shops nearby. This is our 4th time in Edinburgh and wouldnβt stay anywhere else.β
βYeah nah yeah, really good foodβ
βStayed here recently for a night and it was amazing. Our room was clean and spacious with incredible view. We ate in the restaurant in evening and Michelle our waitress was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel.β
βI stayed two nights at the Dalhousie Castle to celebrate my friendβs wedding, and I have to say that they did a great job! The staff were all incredibly friendly, the castle is beautiful, and the grounds were fun to explore. I was also so impressed with how accommodating they were for my fiancΓ©e who was the only gluten free guest. They truly went above and beyond! The food for breakfast and dinner after the wedding were both great, as well. Lastly, our room truly made us feel like we were in a castle because it was huge and was stocked with robes and slippers. I would gladly come back to the Dalhousie Castle to sleep overnight or for another event!β
βAbsolutely amazing hotel, everything I could hope for, with lovely welcome from Celia and the manager Steven. Steven then gave us a great tour full of anecdotes about the hotel's history, followed by exceptional service from every member of staff I met. Including the amazing Matthew at the leisure centre who I'll always remember for introducing me to golf. Can't thank you all enough. Looking forward to coming back next year.β
