“What a fantastic fun relaxing time we all had. Great choice of items to paint. Staff were friendly and so helpful . We will hopefully going back very soon. Highly recommend if you're looking for something different and fun to do for all ages.”
“Excellent breakfast place! Cute and cozy decor. We tried filled croissants, porridge and this lovely pistachio cardamom cake. And also, probably the best coffee we had in the whole of Edinburgh!”
“Had an amazing experience in the shop. Miss Sheila provided us great customer service. Glad we met her in the shop.. She sorted out issue very quickly. Very thankful to her❤️”
“Best place for a walk. Good landscape. Calm and quiet place with both city view and picturesque view. Good terrains. Need to see it in the heather next time.”
“Love walking here. So does the dog! Coffee shop is good too!”
“Phenomenal service from Alex and Jake, absolutely top lads. As Arnold Schwarzenegger once famously said, "I'll be back".”
“Absolutely lovely pub with a beer garden, very friendly and clean and nice atmosphere, reasonable prices too.”
“Best brewery in the UK! Highly recommend the Edinburgh Gold and haven’t tried a brew I didn’t like from here! Wide selection, merchandise, food, and lots of gluten free beers.”
“Great wee spot for great coffee and sweets. The little free library and atmosphere give it a great vibe to relax and enjoy some peace, either alone or with friends. The proprietor was not only personable but funny and knew how to read his people. Highly recommend and will be back.”
“Words can’t describe how wonderful this artsy boutique style hotel is! Just returned home after spending five fabulous nights at this beautiful gem of a hotel. Nothing has been overlooked, from the decor, design, furnishings, artwork - and on top if it all, a lovely whisky tasting bar/lounge that was truly elegant. The staff was extremely attentive and made sure that everything was perfect for us from the moment we arrived until our departure (inclusive of booking taxis and making hotel reservations). Will definitely be booking another stay at 24 Royal Terrace if given the opportunity to visit Edinburgh again.”
“Been to this barber in Gorgie twice, and I am officially a regular now. He is incredibly polite, makes you feel at ease with casual chats, and his work is brilliant. Unlike other rushed barbers, he takes his time to give you the perfect look. Once, I arrived just before closing, and he still welcomed me with the same warm attitude. Top notch service and attention to detail. Highly recommend. #BestBarberInEdinburgh #GorgieBarber #EdinburghBarbers #TopNotchService #HaircutPerfection #HighlyRecommended”
“Can't recommend this wee tobacconist enough, great staff and a great selection of tobacco...”
“What a great little local shoe shop. I cannot recommend this shop highly enough, my 2 year old got himself worked up about getting his new shoes at other appointments. Kerrie the owner was great she send a video to introduce herself, photos of the shop etc so I could prepare him before we got there. At our appointment it was relaxed and Kerrie was so lovely getting the new shoes was not a problem. The shoes themselves are beautiful and very high quality.”
“Great food and the attentive staff especially a lovely lass named Ruby who is top class and very efficient and friendly.”
“Amazing and friendly service. The food was delicious, I went for the French toast w/bacon banana and syrup, and the portion sizes were very generous!”
“Visited the penguin enclosure at Edinburgh Zoo last week and it was amazing! The penguins were the mist of their mating season and we could observe their behavior. Unfortunately, Penguins Rock can smell a little fishy but that is expected given the nature of the exhibit. Would recommend if you visit Edinburgh Zoo.”
“Beautiful park with great view on the sea! The park is the most beautiful during cherry blossom season!”
“I'd recommend Ang to everyone but especially those who have autistic kids. She's fantastic. You need to be eagle eyed for appointments or walk in on Friday and Saturday. Beware Saturday is particularly busy.”
“We moved our flat to Home Sweet Home from a much larger management outfit because we found that both we and the property were forgotten about, other than the commission being taken every month. Dan and his team at Home Sweet Home we’re a breath of fresh air. Nothing seemed too much trouble, everything is taken care of, and the tenant has confidence in the team. When the boiler needed replacing Dan was able to recommend an installer who not only saved us thousands ( over BG) but also installed a far superior product and a 12 year warranty. We’re very happy to recommend Home Sweet Home.”
“We’re incredibly grateful for the outstanding food you provided for our corporate event! The akara falafel was a real standout—everyone couldn’t stop raving about how delicious it was. The salad bowl was vibrant and fresh, and the lemon sponge cake was hands-down the best I’ve had in ages—perfectly moist and absolutely delightful! The two trays of lemon cake disappeared in no time; it was such a hit that we only wish we had ordered more! A huge thank you to Tosin for making the entire ordering and delivery process so seamless. We’re already looking forward to reaching out again to explore more of the fantastic options on your menu. Warm thanks from all of us at Hymans Robertson!”
“Love the group Social event. Our Beagle had a fab team socialising with lots of dogs, playing chase over the obstacles, around the green space. We'll run and great value”
“Lovely, chic and beautifully decorated b&b! The host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very big, modern and most importantly - with a comfortable, big bed. It's in excellent location for the beach and with excellent public transport links to Edinburgh city centre. A must visit! Thank you Angela!”
“Best Barbers!! Call me crazy but happy to do the 45 mile round trip. Customer service is second to none, fantastic prices and a extremely good and pleasant atmosphere 1000% recommend”
“The team at Visa Go provided exceptional support throughout the visa application process. They offered clear, timely guidance and professional expertise that made a complex process easily manageable. Sue, our case officer was very efficient and a pleasure to work with every step of the way. I would highly recommend their services for anyone needing migration assistance.”
“It's been a nice little cruise on the Firth of Forth. I learned a lot about the bridges and islands in the Forth. One can land on Inchcolm Island, but today I just took the short cruise. The crew was perfectly friendly.”
“There is an outdoor sports building for different watersports plus special types of bikes that can be hired to allow able bodied people carry people with different types of disabilities around the park. The building also has its own car park with blue badge spaces and a new mobile home parking area with facilities. There is another building with a cafe and toilets, plus meeting rooms for private hire. There blue badge parking in front of the entrance to this building. Plus a very large car park nearby. There is a gravel path around the water. There is also mountain bike trails in certain areas of the park. There is a riding stables nearby, but it was closed to public use since before lockdown. There are 3 car park entrances around Lochore Meadows Country Park. The main one from the village of Lochore. The other 2 are accessed from the Kelty side of the park. I have been told that a holiday caravan park is being constructed on the Kelty side of the park. When that will be opened I don't know.”
“A small museum serving as an interpretive centre for Roslin Glen. It provides context on the area's natural history, geology, and industrial past, particularly its historic gunpowder mills. The exhibits enhance understanding before exploring the adjacent woodland paths and sites like Rosslyn Chapel.”
“Beautiful park in amazing situation. Visitor centre is high on hill, with brilliant views north, east, and south. Cafe provides good food, and staff are helpful and friendly. Variety of woodland walks for all ages and abilities. Just beautifully kept, with clear signs marking the routes. Al in all ... a great place!!”
“We had a great trip to Kielder Forest. The stick man trail was fun. It was quite a distance for wee legs and when you make it back to the car park, you're half way done. Pack juice and snacks as there are lots of seats and benches to relax.”
