“Had a lovely lunch today. The atmosphere was so chilled very quiet and lovely music playing. The food was great as always. Excellent service too…..don’t be fooled though every weekend night you’d be lucky to get a table as it’s so good here.”

“Some of the best pizzas ive ever had. Called up and spoke to a gentleman who talked me through the offers they have. Got 3 of their top selling pizzas and i was not disappointed. Pizzas were delivered within 25 mins of making the order. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Top quality pizzas and top quality service.”

“Came across this place while visiting the nearby Snaith station, one of the least used stations in the country served by just 3 trains per day. Was greeted by the friendly owner/chef, and heard about their life story and passion in his cooking. Food was perfect, loved the mushrooms. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Would love to return some day, wish they'd run more trains here!”

“Myself and my partner made a last minute booking based on reviews. Happy that we did. The atmosphere is very relaxed in the bar area, the friendly lady I spoke to on the phone booking, advised that a large party had booked upstairs and we’d probably be more relaxed in the bar area. Nice advice. Food was really well seasoned and hot and fresh, (we had a Sunday roast with beef). My only slight gripe is there wasn’t much beef on the plate. All was lovely and the wine by the glass was really nice. Overall we were happy with our first visit and will definitely return.”

The pizza’s are delicious and crisp, and the pasta and meatballs was the best I have had in many years. “Lovely place, the staff were super attentive and the food was delicious.... My partner has one of the specials, spinach and pumpkin burger, which she adored. I had chicken and chips, it had some French sounding name that I can't remember for the life of me, but it was outstanding. The atmosphere was very calm and professional, we felt relaxed and kind of at home. I highly recommend this place, I would bet that lots of people come here for dates. Thank you for a great start to our day.”

“The best food we have ever had ! The restaurant was full when we entered, it had a really nice noise and vibe. Diners looked really interested in their dishes. We sat at the bar and had a Kentucky Bourbon and a cocktail whilst we waited for our table. We were seated with a view of the kitchen, which was really fun and interesting, watching all the chefs work and interact from their stations. The food was served in perfect timings, allowing us enough time in-between each dish. The mix flavours in each of the dishes was incredible. Sweet and sour. Spiced and pickled. Crunchy and soft textures. I genuinely believe this the best food I have ever eaten. Nothing was overbearing or too much. It simply worked - every dish. 2 entrees each, 5 dishes shared- was perfect. Cocktails for my wife, and a half bottle of Italian red for me. The price, was a lot better than we expected, when the bill came. We were pleasantly surprised. We will be back, happy to drive from Manchester just to come to Skosh !”

“Very much a village pub but don't let that put you off. The food was great and locals and owners had a good welcome for all. The price was also good... two mains and two halves of tap cider for £25.30. My wife asked for no chips and they provided the biggest chicken breast they had and extra salad. Great value.”

“Booked last minute for a birthday celebration. Was offered both a la carte and Sunday early diners menu, which was good value and had a wide choice. We had 3 courses, coffees, plus drinks and prices were very reasonable and portions large and tasty. Service was excellent, warm and friendly. Would definitely recommend.”
