“I’m always skeptical about ordering from somewhere new that doesn’t have many reviews but this was an absolute treat! They had ran out of brownies but rang us to offer alternatives which was great, we opted for the cookie dough instead and can honestly say it was the best one I’ve ever had!! Normally I find with cookie dough it goes quite hard once it starts going cold as you’re eating it but this one was so soft just as cookie dough is suppose to be! Couldn’t recommend this place enough now and will definitely be ordering from here from now on for dessert! Thank you so much. Delicious food and amazing customer service!”

“Tucked away in the back streets of Huddersfield - what a surprise. Delightful outside and tastefully decorated inside, my photos don't do it justice. The staff were excellent, friendly, welcoming and very efficient. My friend and I had a two course Christmas lunch. Beautifully presented, not as good to eat. The roast potatoes weren't crispy, the sausage in the pig in blanket wasn't very nice and the stuffing was typically 'Paxo' but the greens, mash, turkey and gravy were lovely. The Christmas pudding also wasn't to my taste, huge lumps of fruit with nuts on the outer rim, quite nasty, my friend however enjoyed it. Just shows its all a matter of taste.”

“Quiet and cozy, modern interior and friendly staff. The food selection was of those favorite English favorites as well as a decent selection of seafood and other goodies. Inside is quiet and peaceful so you can have a conversation with ease. The place is near the Shambles and close to a lot of nice places to visit.”

“Food was absolutely fantastic, especially the Quadzilla burger. One from the menu that you must try, but be warned, it's massive. Sweet potatoes fries is another absolutely must try, if you want something different from the ordinary. Monsoon Kiss mocktails is another favourite which is just refreshing. Lawnswood Arms is one of our favourite place to grab a burger, nachos and grill.”

“A hidden gem in Dewsbury! We had the days' special, 1/2 Chicken and Chips with salad for £ 4.99!! Generous portions, tasty and delicious. Auf wiedersehsn Nandos. The owners were very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Support this family run business and swing by when you are n Dewsbury.”

“Stayed in the Indigo Hotel just for one night. Had a lovely welcoming atmosphere and front desk. Parking was easy and just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and well equipped with all you could need. Breakfast was buffet style with an additional menu for other choices. The only quibble at breakfast was the cast iron casserole dishes they hold the breakfast items in - they all have the lids on so you have to take the lid off to peek inside to see what it is, if you want that item you then have to find somewhere to put the lid which then gets in the way of other people peeking to see what’s inside - I’d suggest you maybe use a chalk pen to write on the lid/pot what is inside to help people out a bit. Apart from that all good and tasty. Would go again and recommend as a place for quick easy access to every sight in York. I did also upload a picture of the remote control in our room, that was a bit grim but wouldn’t stop me going again (will just take a sandwich bag next time!)”

“Stayed in the deluxe room and was really impressed with this hotel. The location is great, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the room itself was lovely. Big windows for a great view of the river, comfortable bed, very well decorated and modern. The pub itself is really nice and there's the option to sit outside. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“Very nice greasy takeaway pizza , went for the chicken Korma pizza and was delicious, really nice flavours , the chicken korma sauce was sweet as it should be also , price was also good at £8.60 for an 11 inch pizza , overall 5/5”

I can honestly say UK Rooster has become my go-to spot for chicken and chips, and somehow, they manage to make it taste better with every visit! The chicken is always perfectly seasoned, juicy, and piping hot – paired with those crispy golden chips, it’s comfort food done right. What really makes the experience extra special though is the service – especially from Kash, who’s waited on me several times now. He’s genuinely kind, attentive, and always remembers the little details that make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble, and there’s a real warmth about the way he handles everything. Big love to the whole team at UK Rooster – keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll definitely be back (probably sooner than I should!).”

“Just had an amazing takeaway! The bruschetta starter was incredibly fresh, with perfectly crispy bread. The tzatziki, served with freshly made bread, was absolutely delicious. For the main course, the mixed kebab was packed with tender meat and came with a lovely, fresh salad. The sauces which you get with the meal are perfect! The garlic bread with tomato was also a great. If you want a fresh takeaway that’s not greasy, definitely try this place!”
