“It was nice to return to this hotel, as everything runs so smoothly. From check-in in the early hours of the morning, Simon was extremely helpful and explained everything about meals, through to the ladies greeting everyone at Breakfast. The bar staff were also great on the last night, even when the queue was approx 30 people long after a show at the Arena. They remained calm and super efficient. Thank you everyone!”

“The hotel is in a great central location and is in an amazing historic building. We loved seeing the original features throughout the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the room was comfortable. The only slight downside was that the discounted parking is a 10 minute walk away, which was no problem through our stay but felt a little far when carrying our luggage to/from the hotel.”

“Don't be fooled by the name it's just a pub not an actual hotel. Went on a Sunday evening, was quiet but pleasant. Barman was attentive and pleasant. It serves beers and spirits - enough said :-).”

“Wonderful staff, clean rooms and amazing location. At the reception, Natalia was so lovely and we felt welcomed. The atmosphere by the restaurant and lobby is great too. We came here with our puppy and had the more comfortable stay with great views of the docks. Some Hilton hotels can be a hit and a miss, but the service here really makes this is a hit. This will become our go-to everytime we’re in Liverpool!”

“When my husband said he had booked a 2 star hotel because of the free parking, I wasn't too impressed! However this hotel turned out to be a gem! Rooms were spotless and daily housekeeping was of a very high standard. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and pleasant. We didn't eat breakfast here but it looked good and the dining room has a lovely waterfront view as did our room! Exceptional value for money!”

“We enjoyed our time at Rowton Hall. The beautiful Georgian setting offers a genuine escape, and the experience was great. The spa facilities were very relaxing. Our room was nice—it was clean, spacious, and provided a comfortable base for our stay. A special mention must go to the staff; the hotel receptionist was lovely, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel genuinely welcome.”

“Stayed here after an event in Chester. Affordable rooms, very comfy bed. I was slightly hungover do didn't fully take advantage of breakfast but it looked amazing. Car park right next to hotel was good value as well. Would be perfect for staying after the races.”

Don’t expect a gym, you have charming surroundings to explore. But DO expect unparalleled Art Deco features and lounges reminiscent of the 1920’s. The food and service is unmatched on the Wirral. Well done to all Mark and the Staff!”

“An older Travelodge, but still a very good one. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in staff friendly and helpful, even offered to help me carry my stuff upstairs as there was no lift. Had a great sleep and the shower was good. Free car park on site too”

“We were driving passing by to charge our car, and happen to walk in the reception found this bar. The young pretty waitress was so nice and helpful, we all love her smile. and the food was unexpectedly delicious, really delicious compared to the all ones we had in our trip. Highly recommend.”

“I spent 4 weeks at the Travelodge, Strand whilst working in Liverpool recently . The rooms are exceptionally quiet, the staff here are super friendly and breakfast is excellent with a great view of Royal Albert Dock just opposite. Liverpool One Shopping Centre is close by and parking in Q park one is discounted - you need to pre book your days and you can come in and out of the car park when you want , just park on the 3rd floor near the shopmobility end and then you are at street level to walk to the hotel. Food menu in the evening has a good range of choice. I definitely would book here again.”

“Great well priced hotel right opposite Albert Dock. Short walk to Liverpool Onene shops. Great helpful staff. Restaurant evening meals and breafast good value fpr money. Short walk to James Streer station and bus station very close by for Airport. Best shower in any hotel in the world!”

“A good place if you are traveling and need to be closer to the Liverpool airport. It is at 20 minutes walk and 5 min by car. A mall is at 20 minutes walk. The hotel offers decent rooms and a buffet breakfast which has sufficient diversity. The employees are very helpful and kind. I am giving a good rating since the place is what they say it is. Good job guys.”

“Easy check in with Julie who was very helpful regarding taxi for the morning to the races. Room was spotlessly clean, small but modern. Bathroom was spotless, nice shower and towels. Free parking was ideal, few shops and plenty off fast food places. Added bonus for us was a Starbucks over the rd 0.6 miles from our room. Multi plex cinema and I noticed a Bingo hall if that's something you like. Very friendly little hotel, Julie available on reception and nothing seemed to much trouble”
