“i visited ego today with a group of 6 friends and we had a lovely time. From the moment we arrived,,the staff were welcoming, attentive and made us feel relaxed. everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble The food was absolutely delicious- everyone at the table loved their dishes and portions were generous. Drinks were great, the atmosphere was lively without being too loud and service friendly and professional. We all said the same thing : we’d definitely come back. A perfect spot for get together with friends. Highly recommend.”

“What a find just along from Penny Lane. A real hidden gem of a restaurant. Unassuming from the outside but tastefully done on the inside. Very well themed very clean and a very pleasant setting for an afternoon tea and cake, glass of wine or cocktail, small plates, or in fact an excellent range of starters, main courses, and deserts. All good portions, well presented, and delicious. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, offering an excellent service. We will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended.”

“Been here about 4 or 5 times they never disappoint. I asked the waitress if the chefs could cook me a local dish which they didn't bat an eye lid and the taste and spice is this curry was unbelievable, if I was to be picky only thing disappointing is they don't serve coca cola or Pepsi but was a problem. We will see you again very soon!”

“Lazeez is always banging food! With great service & ultimate pricing! I love ordering the lamb Quzi... Its always served very quickly and tastes delicious! A big plate of tasty rice, a whole naan, salad, a choice of sides (I like the aubergine the most) and a tender succulent bowl of lamb. I don't know why I'm not here every day! Your always greeted with a complimentary soup too which tastes delicious!”

“Such a nice chill vibe but not uncomfortable quiet! Food was delish and very reasonable price! Ended up ordering a lot even though I was supposed to be a light snack! Get ready for a cosy autumnal afternoon! Lentil soup was £4! No overpowering flavours just wholesome! I would have personally enjoyed some more seasoning with the Hummus maybe sort of molasses drizzle to give it an uplevel! But was still nice! £5 and come with home made pitta breads! The mixed shish wrap £10 comes with chips! Very flavourful and filling! Tacos were really nice! Good flavour!”

“New Capitol Chinese Restaurant in Liverpool's Chinatown is fantastic! The food is beautiful and we have never had a bad meal yet. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. “Really nice gem of a cafe in Stanley Park. Plenty of seating space available. Staff are very friendly and on top of clearing tables and cleaning up the cafe as the day goes. Prices were very reasonable and the portion size was more than adequate. The steak and onion ciabatta was delicious, I would happily order that again. 5 stars, would definitely recommend.”

“Went for lunch here with my sister, would highly recommend. We had the scallops, king prawns, steak tartare and beetroot to start and all the dishes were well presented and packed with flavour. We then shared a ribeye with the gravy, cauliflower cheese and cabbage. We paired our food with dirty martinis and spicy mango margaritas. Absolutely flawless food and incredible drinks, we couldn’t fault it. We were looked after by the lovely Dan, who had the perfect balance of attentiveness without being overbearing. We felt really well looked after and was able to sit back, chat and relax. Thank you to Dan for ensuring we had the perfect meal. If you’re looking for a high end dining experience with high quality food and drinks, RBG is the place to be!”

“We went here for a family birthday dinner. The food was very good and the bill surprisingly modest. They have no alcohol licence and guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic drinks for a small corkage charge. They much prefer cash but can take card payments.”

“Went to this hidden gem for a meal after some drinks and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Between the 3 off us we got the hot meze platter and that was a meal on it's own... a wide selection of meats and hot food I.e halloumi bites all tasted fresh and very good Then we each ordered a different kebab, I got a mixture of 3 chicken,lamb, and a spicy sausage variety (see the photo) cannot fault it ended up taking it home in a doggy bag for tea the next day as I was so full and it tasted as good the next day. The portion sizes are huge and the food is 5*, the staff were friendly and polite will definitely be going again in the future.”

“ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I’ve been to Leo’s Italian Restaurant on a Saturday night, we booked a table for 3. The staff is very kind and supportive, the food is incredible. You can easily notice that their products are above the standard quality. The place is beautiful and elegant. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you want to make a great first impression with someone. The price is quite reasonable, considering the high quality of the service. “Undoubtedly the best restaurant of any type in Poulton. Service is excellent and professional (unlike others) and with a personal touch. Every dish was absolutely delicious. Excellent cocktail waiter who knew all the recipes of traditional cocktails without having to look them up. He mixed the best Dirty Martini (two of them) I have ever had in UK, and I've swigged a few. (The best in the world is in a cafe in Pollensa, Mallorca).”

“First things first, the aioli was the absolute highlight of the meal - it was incredible! We eat it quite frequently in my house and my wife is an expert at making it and this is the first time I’ve ever considered a restaurant to be on par with that - amazing! The calamari was nicely battered and crisp, the Spanish tortilla was wonderful, dense and flaky and the chorizo and clams in white wine sauce was equally flavorful. I’m glad I ventured out of the hotel for this meal.”
