“Had a lovely stay at Golden Triangle Ensuites! Room bright and clean, big and comfortable, with large windows and beautifully decorated! Shared kitchen also provided, clean and easy to use! Nice and quiet location, close to cafes, supermarket and only a short walk from the centre! Bus stop just outside of the house. The host very polite and helpful, provided me with information and helped me with everything I needed! Will visit again soon.”

“Stay here if you love old places. The building dates from the 1st Elizabeth's reign and has all the wonky floors and crooked beams you could desire. Run by lovely people who are very helpful. Great breakfast properly cooked. Lots of coffee. One star had to be lost for the dated decoration in the rooms but the place is super clean and the beds very comfortable. We had a huge room for 4 with bathroom (again old but they will get to it. If you stay here it will help them sustain this glorious building!) and views of the quirky main street of Harleston. I had never heard of the town before I went, but I would love to go back. Sadly the towns we visited in Norfolk were spoiled by anti social behaviour from the useless few. But I'm sure the local people dislike that as much as you do. PS sorry we were noisy on Saturday but what with Liverpool winning the cup and France giving the UK douze points I couldn't hold it in....”

“We booked for the Sunday Carvery at 1:30. Obviously oversubscribed and didn't get sat until 2:00 HOWEVER, the team that were working smashed it. I doubt if Luke was over 23 and the four girls (that I saw) working with him not even that (My apologies to all concerned if I have got that wrong). The team just 'had it', professional, calming, caring and efficient. Their customer service was first class and the food was great so well done to the kitchen team too.”

This is a small,friendly independent business with a good selection of healthy Koi ranging from 3 to 4 inches up to approximately 20 inches. The owner was very friendly and there was no sales pressure at all. Being appointment only it is also nice that you can view the fish without other customers being present. I would highly recommend.”

“I love locally and always enjoy coming here, especially for family get togethers. We had the Festive menu tonight which was very reasonably priced and delicious. I had the camembert, which was a fraction overcooked but still delicious. A few people had chicken tenders which looked amazing (see my Sister in law's picture attached). Steak was cooked perfectly, and cheesecake was lovely too. The staff here are always very friendly and attentive. Thank you for a perfect evening. I look forward to coming back soon.”

“The staffs were really helpful and they have a great heart. The day I reached Norwich the hotel was full. Staffs didn't let me down and offered me free lunch the way Indians behave. My company booked a hotel for me was that bit away from the city centre. So I went to check if they have any room empty. I can't comment much because I didn't stayed there but the people and the location was really nice. Thank you so much for the great humanity you people showed. It's been 4 years it had happened but I couldn't say thanks. Because when I came back to India, I forgot the name of the hotel and today after searching my office document I could find the name.”

The branch are having some issues with staffing and are having to close at 5pm currently (not 5.30pm as usual). I turned up after 5 and the staff made an exception for me and brought me my much needed medication despite being technically closed. Thank you, I appreciate your help, great customer service. I hope you can get your staff levels back up to an acceptable level (pull your finger out Boots recruitment!) as you're a good bunch. X”

Challenging rough can lead to ball being 'lost in plain site' as can the plentiful autumn leaves (note to self - do not use yellow/orange balls in autumn) but this adds to the challenge of the course. A great mix of long flat holes which challenge your club distance and some nice elevated and dog-leg challenges too. An enjoyable course and very picturesque.”
