“We adopted a British bulldog last year from a rescue centre and she was on a raw diet. Since then she became unwell (Not due to the raw meat) and had to be put in a specific food for a few months. I’m happy to say that she is on the mend and we will be returning to continue her on a raw meat diet as instructed by our vets. Staff were very helpful, kind and knowledgeable.”

And when I thought they couldn’t get any better, I arrived one day with the dog having vomitted on the way to day care - they took his blanket, washed and dried it and returned it to me on collection. 5 stars is not enough. “I've been bringing my dog here for years, my dog doesn't like anyone but she loves Harri, and Annie before her. She is well looked after and loved, I get photos and updates and I'm so comfortable leaving her here. Highly reccomend, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who care about animals as much as Harri does”

“Left my cat for the first time at jj's cattery. Ian made me feel so comfortable about leaving my cat. He is such a nice guy and you can tell he's a cat person. My cat was so well looked after. Can't thank him enough for the care and attention he has given to my cat. I would highly recommend this cattery and would definitely use again.”

From start to finish, Kate was absolutely fantastic with our dogs. It was such a relief knowing they were in safe, caring hands and that all their needs were taken care of. She was calm, kind, and so attentive. Despite the terrible rain, she somehow managed to keep them clean, happy, and relaxed — no small feat for a spaniel and a pointer! When it came time for photos, we had fully accepted that we probably wouldn’t get any shots of them actually looking at the camera. But somehow, Kate worked her magic — both dogs sat and posed beautifully! She even took wonderful care of our elderly dog, who sensibly opted out of the excitement. We honestly couldn’t recommend Kate enough. She’s professional, caring, and an absolute lifesaver for any dog parents planning their wedding day.”

All the staff were wonderful so I will be taking him there again. “Regularly buy bird food from here. Good prices for high quality (no waste) seed, nuts, meal worms, etc. Affordable prices for long-lasting quality products. I have many decorative plastic planters from here in the garden that have lasted years and years and still look brand new. Also holds a trove of DIY tools, fittings, random parts, and spares. Generally, if you want something random, they've got it in stock (somewhere!), or they've got an alternative that works just as well or better. Staff are friendly and helpful and welcoming. 10/10 would recommend over b&q, wickes, etc, for household DIY”

“We stayed for two nights mid April. The room (Chatsworth room) was lovely, a large room with everything you needed. Bed very comfortable , very clean. The bathroom was excellent, a large shower unit. With a continental breakfast available in the price, and tea ,coffee facilities available 2hrs a day. The hotel is ideally situated for a walk to the town centre, only 2 minutes away. On site parking is a bonus. The restaurant is lovely with fantastic food. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend a stay to anyone.”

“I phoned this vets up yesterday and spoke to a lovely receptionist asking if they had got any appointments that day as I wanted a second opinion with my dog, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful got me booked in ASAP and got my dogs medical notes from previous vet transferred straight over to them, the care and compassion towards my dog was absolutely outstanding during the difficult time of saying by final goodbyes to my dog the complete process was explained throughout and there was no rush whatsoever from the staff they made sure my dog was comfortable and supported throughout couldn’t recommend them enough all the staff there are so friendly thank you all again for your support just in the process of transferring my other dogs into your care xx”
