“Lovely place. We had a Sunday lunch and the kids ate from the kids’ menu. Portion size was excellent, flavour was really good, service excellent and really friendly. The beef was cooked perfectly (a bit pink). The kids’ lasagne was tasty and far superior to your average pub meal. Definitely recommend as a nice gastro pub.”

“Interesting place. Saw reviews and excited to visit from Saddleworth. 25 min drive only. Buzzing on arrival. Not clear how to get in restaurant after making reservation. (No meet & greet at the door as mainly bar downstairs. Great atmosphere. Eventually found restaurant check in and went upstairs. Two large parties and a delay in being approached to order drinks worried us but once the waitress arrived it was plain sailing. Waiter, waitress and manager all friendly and couldn't do enough. Will be back to try Kebabs and Burgers. Wine very good for price. Overall great value. Granddaughter enjoyed the adult pepperoni pizza.”

“My favourite restaurant, we’ve been coming for years. The staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is so welcoming and uplifting. Wherever we travel we get sushi and none has compared to how fresh and tasty the sushi is here. A lot of all you can eat restaurants skimp out on the quality of food but not here!”

“So I booked in for the wife's birthday, table for 10 people, The place was buzzing inside and outside. Absolutely packed. The atmosphere was brilliant. The service was fantastic and the food is next level. Absolutely delicious the Ribeye was cooked to perfection. The wait on the mains was an hour but the place was so busy, and we were happy chatting and drinking to notice. The price was cheaper than expected we had meals Puddings and drinks and it was worth every penny. We will definitely be back.”

If you ever are in Sheffield and need a place to eat Italian Kitchen should be your top choice. “I’ve been to this Turkish restaurant a few times now and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and full of flavour; the hummus with meat was so tasty and the bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. I forgot to take a photo of my main this time because I was too busy enjoying! Service is always quick, and the staff are really kind and welcoming”

“We visited Mount Lebanon and had an excellent experience overall. The food was delicious and the service was fast with no delays. We ordered their special mixed grill and the lamb kabsa, and both were cooked perfectly. We also tried the dessert and the red tea, which were a great way to finish the meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!”

“We really enjoyed the buffet here on Tuesday night. The food was very tasty and there were a good number of dishes with varying levels of spice to choose from. The price was excellent for the quality and authenticity of the food, and included starters and dessert. My only criticism with the buffet was that the starters were starting to go cold, so perhaps they could do with being served in smaller containers and turned around more frequently.”

From the amazingly unique interior, the efficient and welcoming staff, the superb menu and good food it earned its great reputation. “Lovely pub with grub, down a small road. Recommended from a pub guide book. Nice selection of beers and a good menu. Quiet when we called in on a midweek afternoon, but very popular. Plenty of seating inside and a large marquee outside. Large car park to the side and rear. Nice chat with the friendly staff.”

“Made my first visit to this pub in February 2024 after hearing so much about it for many years. One of the main recommendations was based on the choice of beers but, being coeliac, I wasn't sure if it would be suitable. However, I was very pleased when I was offered a list of gluten free beers to choose from - albeit in bottles and not on draught (but maybe one day?). As they had a number of Wold Top beers, I decided to try the Marmalade Porter, which was nice and refreshing even on a damp and overcast day. Didn't have any food while we were there but having heard about the gluten free options since, I would like to try it on another visit. It's a lovely old-fashioned pub with friendly staff and a place that was worthy of its recommendation so I would like to pass on the recommendation.”

“Thursday 2nd October 2025 This pub not only served 4 impressive hand pumped ales today i had the 5% Abbeydale pilgrim pumpkin ale which was a grand textured and flavoured ale. The staff were friendly and knew there job. The pub is an old pub with the a great bar and small cosy drinking rooms This pub has a propper Irish theme to it and the back ground music was the icing on the cake As such this pub had a good following in today to drink great hand pulled ales and listen to a good Irish themed background music Well done all involved”

“Absolutely fantastic pub, the food is amazing. They have a separate bar and restaurant area and the food is all freshly prepared, local, and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes are also brilliant so you'll definitely not leave hungry!”

“TLDR; Consistently great food over the last decade! Visited for fathers day; it was much busier than we anticipated. We had booked a table and were seated right away. Our drinks arrived promptly, along with our food soon after. The food was excellent across the board (as it usually is). The enchiladas are big hit for me! Thanks for staying awesome!”

“Second time we’ve been since the new owners and it’s been fabulous on both occasions. Such a variety on the menu so there is something for everyone and the kids menu is great too. “visited again 12:00 on saturday, after two years. the meals ordered were delicious. the chilli beef was medium spicy. the lamb rump was tender, the slow roasted beef was good. meals were in generous portions. they were value for money. remember look for special menu broads A late lunch 3:30pm today, have a delicious and good generous portion of ox tail & mesh potato meal. if you enjoy ox tails, you should try this dish when it is still on a special menu”

“We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Pebley Inn. It has a lovely deck outside overlooking the countryside, luckily we had a lovely autumn night to make the most of it. We were greeted at check in by the lovely Olivia, it was such a warm friendly welcome and she continued to look after us all night. We stay in a lot of pubs on our travels and don't normally get such amazing service. Food delicious. Beers kept well. Warm atmosphere in the pub. Room well equipped. The whole night was excellent.”

“Met a friend here and it was the first time I've been in the week. I had one of the hub/lunchtime meals, cheese and ham lasagne with lovely fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. It was so good! It filled me up for the rest of the day. Highly recommend”
