“Fantastic Hong Kong style dishes, with a similar vibe to a cha chaan teng (but fancier). I had the macaroni with fried egg and luncheon meat in bone broth; HK style french toast with biscoff spread; and HK milk tea. I feel much more prepared to take on the cold winter now! Reasonable prices for the quantity and quality of food.”

“Tried this takeaway for the first time tonight. OMG, the food is delicious. The chicken pakora was amazing. My only criticism if I had one is that the Naan could have been bigger, but the food is delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this takeaway and will DEFINITELY be using it again.”

“Went on a wintry Monday so it was unsurprisingly empty but we got a great feed and a warm welcome. The tasting menu was generous to a fault but all of the elements were delicious. The tandoori was used masterfully giving everything a comforting smokiness whilst letting the unique flavours and textures of the meat shine through. The prawns were especially plump, juicy and delicious. The butter chicken was had great depth and really let the tomatoes do the work of providing this, so often it's just a creamy bland effort but this has really pronounced flavour. All of the other curries met this high standard. Brilliant. Well done.”

“A superb experience from booking to paying! Lovely warm welcome and handshake from a proud owner, superb decor and a very good clean atmosphere. The dry ice display was a new experience for me and was welcomed. The food was in my top five Indians ever. The price point was perfect. The Staff were all amazing and I really enjoyed myself. “Good portions and absolutely tasty food. Nice blend of spices which you can feel everytime you have a bite. There is also a small Shisha place around the back where we spend most of our time with mint tea and Baklava which is must try. Good customer service and definitely go back again.”

“We bought our rangemaster here two years ago. We went back for an American fridge freezer because the service and product knowledge is excellent. The delivery and disposal of our old appliance was excellent. We had 4 men who were polite and careful managing the removal and installation of large appliances with great consideration for our home. The Wash House is unbeatable for customer service.”

“Excellent hotel, very friendly staff. However the breakfast service was slow and we only just had time to eat our breakfast as we had to catch a train. The staff were apologetic but we had to rush our food and this meant we didn't enjoy the experience. Next time we will have cereal.”

The Bacon and mushroom sandwich the Ladies served, was one of the best I have ever eaten, this coming from a chef of 40 years. Bacon perfectly cooked and so many delicious fresh button mushrooms. “Like a mini B&Q or Wickes in an old school DIY shop format. They stock loads and loads of DIY and household products and other items you wouldn't expect. Timber is all sorted and easy to find. Hardware and garden sections have a great range too. Plenty of parking spaces. Some of the pricing is a bit much then other things are plesently surprising. Overall I find the place very handy. The staff are always helpful and there are plenty of them around.”

“Stopped in by chance as was staying nearby. Had the Chicken Tikka Bhuna with Mushroom Pilau. The food was excellent. Rate to find a Bhuna fine just right - the sauce was think worth a nice texture and very tasty, not too spicy so could be enjoyed. I was treated warmly and service was quick. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are nearby”

“This is an absolute gem of a coffee shop! Its a nice step away from the usual cafe fare thanks to the shop's polish roots. The servers Victoria and Lydia were excellent hosts and immediately made us feel welcome. We tried a range of their hot drinks and we highly recommend the lattes and spiced chai. The star of the show for me had to be the sweets treats. We tried a few of their polish tarts and cakes which were all delicious! The apple and cinnamon pancakes were another highlight as a not too sweet dessert option. I'll definitely be going back and taking more friends and family with me.”

“This is a brilliant lock and door ironmongery store. When my lock broke on my upvc door as the hadn't got the actual lock in stock they lent me a temporary lock until the correct lock was delivered .. they also mended part of the latch mechanism free of charge which had come adrift. Brilliant service.”
