“Me and my friend had a lovely time at this pub, where there is a beautiful design for the city, especially the walls that include frames! The counter is gloriously presented, the staff were friendly and also interactive. I had a refreshing pint, sitting comfortably at a table that was very clean!”

“I recently visited The Crown and Anchor, and it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door the atmosphere was warm and inviting The staff were fantastic friendly attentive and quick with a smile. The drinks selection was excellent with a great range of local ales, crisp lagers, and a few craft options for good measure. The food was equally impressive I was honestly blown away by how good the food was.You can tell straight away that they take real pride in what they serve I really recommend to go.”

“We had an excellent evening on 22nd Nov with our family celebrating our Golden Wedding. The staff were wonderful and really looked after us. There were 17 of us in total with 5 children. “Went for a large family lunch for my daughters birthday. There were 19 of us so we pre ordered, the kids food cane out in minutes and the adults wasnt far behind. Everyone was very helpful and there were no issues at all. Never have any problems here and the food is always well cooked, would recommend.”

“Went on a Thursday evening to the Red cow. Thought the worst as there was 1 table occupied by diners. How wrong we were! We went for the ‘fat cow’ chilli chips, masala chips, lollipop chicken, chilli lollipops and 3 naans. We asked for the chips and naans to be upgraded on the fat cow as it only comes with plain but it was lost in translation so we got 3 plain naans and 2 chips additional to what we wanted. The fat cow grill itself was sensational. Lamb chops - great taste, perfect amount of charring. All the chicken was juicy and full of flavour. Fish pakora - nice light batter, lots of meaty fish. The chilli chips were unreal, so so good! Definitely recommend them with the chilli lollipops. Certainly no scrimping on the portions! The only slight criticism is the grill wasn’t sizzling when it came out but it was on a oven tray as it was so big! It says on the menu it serves 8-10, there was 5 of us and we were all stuffed. Would definitely go back, be great to go when it’s busy. One of the best mixed grills we’ve all had, up there with Champys, new hen and chickens etc. Update… we went back for our Xmas mixy, again quiet inside in the dining area but the mixy was first class. Had the £42 fat cow again. Was 6 of us, with 2 cobras to top it off we were all stuffed. The chilli chips and chilli lollipop are a must. Chips are battered and covered in chilli sauce…. Unbeatable! Football was on prime too! Thanks red cow for rounding off this year with a class mixy!”

“Visited this place yesterday for the first time. It is based in a beautiful location, in Kinver. The interior was nicely set up and staff were very attentive and provided us with a good service. I thought the food was exceptional, there were three of us amd we each had the Trough for one. There was a real nice taste of smoke and we enjoyed every bite. We were so full we couldn't fit in any Gelato, which means I will have to return and try a smaller dish next time. We'll done guys !”

“Superb live singer surprise! Haven’t been for a Few months but decided to try again early evening for a couple of beers to hear a great live singer performance. Young lady singing a wide selection of songs. Lovely atmosphere and really good service from the folks behind the bar. Great job. If this is the future I’m coming back with family. Thank you!”

“I celebrated my 60th birthday here on 9th July together with my large family. We had 'the best time' The staff were exemplary and nothing was too much for them to make this occasion a special and memorable one for us. We all said that we felt as if we were on holiday somewhere in Africa. Great atmosphere both inside and out. Super place to enjoy a few hours and of course with great food and drinks!! “We went in after a house viewing as this would be our local. Wonderful staff, served straight away. Full English was cooked to perfection. Clean and tidy.”

“Really Nice Meal for two and good service! The waitress Isabel was Great she was very helpful and attentive she always made sure we was happy with our meals and kept our drinks topped up when running low. All our food was cooked really nice and came quickly, We had 3 courses and everything tasted fantastic. The cocktails was good and they offer bigger portions if you prefer. Overall we had a Great meal like we have had several times before. We will be returning in the future There is also a parking screen located by the hostess desk that you can enter your car registration to pay for the parking.”

“Stopped in for a pint and ended up having a couple more. Great pub, typical spoons with good draught beer and ridiculously cheap shots. Nice location just down from our hotel and unlike other spoons toilets are only up one flight of stairs. Didn’t have food this time but would go back and try some.”

“Went to The Cambridge for Christmas Day. Warm greeting on arrival and staff were friendly and attentive the whole time. Food was delicious. We both had prawn & salmon cocktails to start which were fresh and tasty. Mains were turkey dinners which were piping hot, tasty and plentiful. Desserts were gingerbread cheesecake and Black Forest roulade. Both were delicious. We had a welcome drink on arrival and we’re not made to feel rushed in any way. A brilliant day and we have booked again for next year.”

“The Billesley is my local and I couldn't ask for a better pub. I mainly take my 3 kids and they also love it. It's a large, friendly place, with something to eat and drink for everyone. Visited tonight, my son and I had the 2 for 1 burgers, not only delicious, but an excellent price. Great for families but they also have an over 18 section , incase you fancy a bit of adult time. Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful (expecially Tracey and Mark)”

“I've recently moved to area so exploring the local pubs lol. got to say this place has plenty of seating/ tables, staff welcoming even if your a new face lol ... fast service..menu with lots of options ...plenty of parking ( make sure you enter your reg on tablet by the entrance as the car park managed by a third party ) ... I walk or cycle here .. nice segregation of sky sports area from dining area if you want to watch footie ..outside area plentiful of picnic tables...and there's a bowling green/club”
