βGreat room, lovely food, friendly staff. Lovely old pub with lots of character. Had our evening meal in front of the real log fire. So cosy. Trudy the landlady was very nice and cooked us an excellent breakfast. The two lads On the bar were great as well s on the bar were great and very efficientβ
βSo this is not a fancy hotel but it has a charm. If youβre looking for something a bot adventurous, go for it. We enjoyed staying here.β
βLilah recently looked after my 2 cats visiting twice a day for 8 days. Happy to say they were fine on my return. Lilah was very thoughtful and caring. I would highly recommend her services.β
βWe attended a large function at the venue last night and would like to put on record our appreciation of the excellent staff. Classic high end service where they spotted any concerns and resolved them without being intrusive. Thanks especially to the Manageress who I assume does the training.β
βVery impressed with this hotel. Easy to find and great location for our trip. Car park free although a little tight for space initially as it is shared with other businesses including a McDonald's. Room was clean, tidy and adequate. The stand out element for our trip were the staff. We sometimes encounter problems with hotels because my wife is coeliac and eating can be a major issue so a special mention to Amy who checked us in. She was knowledgeable of our circumstances and empathetic of our needs. She ensured our breakfast the following day went without incident and that the team on duty were aware of our requirements. It was very reassuring as an error can have a significant impact on my wife. It really makes a massive difference to any stay we have anywhere to be understood in this way and our overnight hotel stays would be much less stressful if there were more Amy's ! Thank youβ
βWent for lunch on Sunday 21st Dec, we went as a walk-in, after a morning of Xmas shopping. The staff were really friendly and welcoming; and even more welcome was the superb roast beef dinner; my wife had Cod-that was equally delicious. My lunch was washed down with a cracking Bordeaux Premiere. The Hotel du Vin is a really great building (former red brick Victorian Eye hospital) so is really characterful; and located in the Colmore Business district of the city centre; so architecturally and aesthetically, one of nicer parts of βtownβ. The bistro is beautifully decorated without being overly grand and pretentious, so a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you to the waitress who allowed us to take extra Xmas crackers for our kids! Merry Xmas!β
βI recently spent my time here for the Xmas holidays and had a great experience. The location is bang in the centre of town and Nemo and the team were great with making us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for options in the area.β
βStayed here recently. This Premier Inn is located only about 8 minutes walk away from the Birmingham New Street train station. The hotel building is fairly new. Less than 10 years old based on my estimation. The room is of good size. Comfy and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Premier Plus rooms are on the upper floors. I can see many business travellers staying here. Overall, I did enjoy my stay here. Definitely recommended.β
βSo Iβd like to thank you for your amazing customer service, your staff and wonderful food. Not to forgot we were able to pray after breaking our Ramadan Fast. The Iftaar/Fast breaking food then the mixed grill starters were tops. Lovely curries and those Afghan Nans are the best. Nice desserts and teas too. Definitely will be returning. And itβs great youβve a hotel upstairs too. Thank youβ
βWe stayed at this hotel during December and the staff especially Lisa who made efforts to make the christmas seasin enjoyable for us and the kids , like giving them sweety bags and having a christmas tree inside our hotel room !β
βMy wife and I stayed for a week over Christmas and were delighted with the welcome from Steve and the rest of the team. Every part of the stay was excellent especially the friendliness, advice and support from staff.β
βBusiness event, excellent customer service experienced as I checked in at 3am and given a complimentary extension to rest. Great ambience and superb location which was a quick walk into the city centre. Large deep pool- (sorry no pics as it was in use by others), nice sauna and jacuzzi .β
βI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly through the night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!β
βFantastic pub & hotel! Free parking to the front and rear of the pub. Nice cosy room, went downstairs for tea, partner had the hunters chicken with chips & peas, said it was the best chicken heβd ever had! Only thing Iβd ask for on the menu is a vegetarian option but I happily tucked into my halloumi fries and cheesy chips. Nights sleep for us both was good and so was breakfast, greeted by the nice staff with plenty of choice available. Some reviews here mention no staff available at breakfast time but being a relatively small establishment they of course will be busy prepping orders put in first. Partner enjoyed full English and I loved my beans on toast! Thank you very much for a pleasant stay!β
βIf we could give these amazing people a 10 βοΈ then we would!!!! We have been using Little Paws for years and 1000% will continue to do so for many more years to come! Absolutely fantastic companyβ¦. Friendly, honest and reliable people, who take so much time and care into your pets; we could not be happier! Thank you SO much and look forward to visiting you again very soon! Xxβ
βLovely helpful hosts and a cosy clean roomβ
βWestmead Hotel is situated about 10 minutes from the M42, 20 minutes from M5 and is an idea place for Wedding and birthday celebrations, and the Wake for funerals. Food is very good. They also have a lounge serving tea, Coffee etc. Cannot advise on the rooms as I have no need to use them.β
βHad the most amazing Nikah at Castle Bromwich! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The decor was stunning, and the management was outstanding I couldnβt fault a single thing. They truly listened to what I envisioned and went above and beyond to bring it to life. The attention to detail was incredible, and they exceeded all my expectations. uncle Aftab definitely knows how to keep his customers happy and above all listens and delivers. The gardens were like something out of a fairytale absolutely picture-perfect for photos. Thank you for making such a special day even more unforgettable.β
βGreat hotel with amazing service! We greatly enjoyed our stay! I especially want to thank the manager who was so nice to me and my son. When he heard that we had been to National Sea World he even gave my son a little animal figure.β
βWe dined here before attending a performance at the Town Hall. So it was quite quiet at 5pm but it was nice and cosy and we were very well looked after. We had the early bird set menu which was very good value and was delicious. We'll definitely return for pre-show meals!β
βExactly what we needed for our two night stay. Good room, good service and ideal location.β
βI stay here a few times a year for work and the staff are always extremely helpful and professional. The rooms are a decent size and have a good desk for working. The beds are comfortable although there was some low-level noise from other rooms. The location is good, with restaurants all around and a Sainsbury's Local around the corner. Being close to a main nightlife area, the location is busy through to the late evening and is well lit. Breakfast is fine and there is a chef station for cooked-to-order eggs. It's a 20-min walk to New Street Station with some sharp but short upward inclines on the way to the hotel. Alternatively there is a metro/tram stop nearby on Broad Street with a direct frequent service to the station.β
βI use this hotel weekly. Itβs always clean and tidy and the team are so welcoming! It makes staying away from home so much easierβ
βAll staff members were helpful, kind and polite. These members of staff in particular went out of there way. There names are Darrell, Abbey, Lency, Lauren, Tina, Paula and Gail. We were made welcome and comfortable in our stay at the hotel.β
βI ordered a great mixed grill but must admit I was a little disappointed with no lamb chop or black pudding. It was still a great meal and value for money with the email voucher. The evening front of house staff was very helpful and not overpowering. Decor was a little to shabby chic and could do with abit of tlc.β
βWe stayed here for one night as we were visiting the West Midlands Safari Park, which was only about a 25-minute drive away. The lady at reception, who was also helping out at the restaurant bar, was so sweet, approachable, and looked after us really well. She was very informative and welcoming. They had a great deal for Β£26.99 which included a two-course meal, a drink, and breakfast β perfect for us. The place was clean and tidy, and the room was good too. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it.β
βWowwwwww and wowwwwwww staff super friendly. Couldn't do anymore for me and the wife. Made us feel very welcome. From start to finish. We was going to eat out but decided to stay in and eat at the restaraunt and was glad amazing top quality food. Only complaint was hotel was very noisy but they did have 2 big venues on that didn't get finished till gone 4am so was kept awake a bit. Apart from that amazing views . Would stay again and reccomend .β
βAttended a Church conference nearby and needed a last minute room after a late finish. The staff Luke and Paul made sure I felt safe on a Sunday evening in a city I didn't know. The rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast had plenty of good options. Will recommend to those I travel with in the future.β
βMyself and my boyfriend booked a double room. My daughter and her boyfriend have 4 children, 2 of the children have adhd, but the rooms only accommodate 2 children, so my daughter booked one room with 2 of the children and a second room for her boyfriend and 2 of the children. When we saw the rooms, they would have been fine with one room. Anyway, the rooms were lovely (I'm not complaining) We went down for breakfast the second morning we were there, the lady on that took our names, myself and my boyfriend hadnt booked, and the restaurant was very busy, but Jade allowed us to have a table, she was very nice, polite and kind to us. and my grandson was a bit overwhelmed, he kept moving tables and I said to my daughter that Oliver couldn't help.it, my daughter said " but it's not an excuse, a member of staff, Tia, came over and asked if it was okay for Oliver to have felts, I said it was, and Tia went to fetch some paper and felts, she asked Oliver to draw a dinosaur, he did this in between eating his meal. It kept him occupied. Tea was so ki d towards Oliver and he looked for her after breakfast to give her the drawing. She was so pleased. The staff were really good with the children, In fact, they were brilliant!! We will definitely be going to the Kidderminster Premier Inn again. I highly recommend it.β
βLovely stay here, rooms are decent, clean, hot shower with good pressure. Might need a little updating but otherwise fine for a night stay. Staff were very very accommodating. Even offered my parents a free breakfast for celebrating their wedding anniversary! Really nice of them!β
