“This is the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had. The staff are so friendly and the price is great! The only Chinese takeout I go to now. 10/10”
“The best fish and chips I have ever eaten. The best customer service. Come and try.”
“Excellent service super friendly. The Prices are super great And Pizzas tastes amazing.”
“Enjoyed the mid week lunch deal again today. Its good value for freshly cooked, fish n chips and choice of sauce or peas, which I ate In the sunshine on the beach. It's always nice to have a quick chat with the friendly hardworking owner too.”
“Nice place to eat when the suns out, very reasonable, good food, pet friendly.”
“I had a really lovely experience at Italian Kitchen in Brighton! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit feel extra special. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care – everything from the starters to the mains tasted amazing. Prices were also very reasonable, especially for the quality you get, which makes it a great value spot. If I had to point out one thing, the atmosphere wasn’t quite as charming as the food and service – it just lacked a little warmth compared to other Italian places I’ve been to. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”
“Best place I have ever had a curry from, I had the madras and it was by far the BEST EVER one I've had, everything was fresh and hot just the way I want it when ordering from a takeaway. Nice and friendly staff including the driver who delivered our food. We'll done Sitar, keep up the good work.”
“It's a Starbucks, what else to say....! What I would say is that the size of a small coffee to have in is Huge!! The large must be a bucket!! **.. I NEED TO EDIT THIS!.. I was recently refused service by one individual at this establishment as he thought I was drunk. Not his fault but probably just lack of training. I suffer from anaemia, low HB, COPD & internal gastronomy issues. The medication I take can make me drowsy and on occasion present as appearing intoxicated. I DID collapse once whilst in the establishment and needed an ambulance which took me to A&E for emergency blood transfusions. This is something I live with and often attend RSCH for blood transfusions & Iron infusions. I guess all I would say is that it's not his fault; but perhaps some more training from Starbucks for their staff, on interpersonal relationships between customers and employees? Perhaps regarding looking for signs & behaviors of customers, and how to differentiate between different types of presentation & behaviour?...be it a clinical issue and/or a socially disruptive one. To be clear; he wasn't rude to me but merely acting on how I presented, and working within whatever Health & Safety training had been made available to him. No hard feelings or resentment; in fact I would like to come back...perhaps with one of my primary careers next time ?? (they'll buy more coffees!). Regards, Justin Colman. PS; Obviously no Stars for this particular visit but this is a fluid situation and subject to change ! ...I've since caught up with this individual and questioned him on this issue. He was polite & respectful when I confronted him.... There are ways to settle these things but unfortunately he chose to hide behind a woman, whose presence was his defence and I presume his superior. That's a dick-move and he obviously knew it... She was polite and respectful as per her position requires. In fact I liked them both really!... but perhaps he would be better suited in a position that required less interpersonal skills... Gonna give you your 5 star rating back (even though I'm "banned"...haha) Reason being that, as a whole, I can't condemn the cafe as it is... it's just one bad apple that needs removal... PS: I LOVE those caramel-latte things you serve with cream and all that jazz...”
“Convieniently located Starbucks across the road from Churchill Square. This one can get very busy, there was very few seats on the ground floor, but the upstairs has additional seating which (at the time) was very quiet, with only a few people in it. The tables were clean and each one has plug sockets and USBs which was nice. Staff are friendly. The toilets are located upstairs and didn't have a code, which were clean. Very positive experience :)”
“Really tasty , not greasy and delicious Chinese takeaway. Would order again!”
“What an experience this restaurant was we got the 2 people set menu chuffed and excited we spent our time waiting for the food in the bookies next door (couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my time) after betting £80 on the horses and winning a surplus of £24 i saw it as a sign of great fortune seeing as it paid for our meal here will certainly be coming back the food wasn’t bad either. Scoffed it down in a whopping 3 minutes couldn’t have been happier”
“Best pizza takeaway in Brighton always enjoy eating from here and the staff are very friendly. One of my regular takeaways. Strongly recommend”
“Great takeaway food. Fantastic square pizzas. Lots of deals and offers. Highly recommended.”
“Lavazza is one of my favourite coffee brands and I was very happy to finally find good coffee in UK since I almost gave up on coffee after several disappointments. Also tried several cakes and they were all tasty. I keep returning every time I visit Brighton. Location is great and staff is friendly.”
“Very tasty salt and pepper tofu and spring rolls and the noodles were delicious! You could tell the vegetables were freshly cooked and service was great too.”
“I had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express on Lewes Road! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They really paid attention to every detail, ensuring everything was perfect from the service to the ambiance. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were amazing, and it was clear they take pride in every dish they serve. Highly recommend this spot for both great food and exceptional service!”
“Really nice food. Great service and the owner loves giving a little extra. Honestly, I would recommend it if you're looking for some good Indian food for an evening dinner”
“Absolutely delicious food! This place was recommended to me via Reddit. As it is local to me I ordered it for takeaway and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The dry Szechuan chicken was my favourite and the sesame prawn toast. This is now on the top of my list for best Chinese takeaway in Brighton! 5/5!!”
“I just had the burger kind of my life. Wow. Serious get those loaded fries they are just so nice. Please have them.”
“We had the all-you-can-eat buffet, came to just over £100 for 4 of us. Everything was freshly made to order, with high quality ingredients. Service was superb, we were seated quickly and the ordering system was explained clearly. All waiters were polite and attentive, our table was cleared and refilled without delay and water was topped up frequently. The entire experience was faultless and incredible value for such a delicious meal. We will definitely be back again!”
“The food is really nice, looks well good inside, only 4 stars for the food because it could have done with more chips, for the first time finish the chips before the fish. Overall, it was a nice place, looks clean, and tasty food.”
“stayed here with a friend while visiting brighton for a show. in a great location, close to the city centre and the seafront. We had breakfast included and it was lovely. Great view from our window. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was also large. also has a lift which was super helpful for carrying our luggage upstairs!”
“The hot pot was good and much cheaper than in London came here after I ate and I was very full, and it was so tasty I finished it”
“Ordered off of deliveroo, got the meal for 1 and chicken korma with chips, came to £28 in total and it was amazing! Was meant to be for 2 people but could’ve fed at least 3 if not 4, the portions were amazing and the food tasted so good as well as being very hot, would highly recommend and order again.”
“The meal was very good value for money, arrived promptly and the driver was really friendly. The food was lovely, really flavoursome and I’ll definitely order again from here”
