“Absolutely brilliant. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. From the initial greeting, grand tour and room in the amazing gardens - wow! This hotel is set in magnificent grounds. I am actually out of superlatives! On top of all this the staff are brilliant. Most of them seem very young but are a credit to the Pig Group. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every aspect. Thanks for the birthday cookies!”

“Lovely lodge everything you need. Kids very impressed with WiFi. Bistro on site amazing food and value for money cost online with any pub you go to staff all lovely. 15m drive to bath ( in bath no free parking for disabled and expensive ) Only complaint was did put on booking someone with mobility issue but parking on a slight incline (luckily the person with mobility issues didn't come) so was not a issue in this occasion but could of been. Curtains a bit frayed but no means spoilt the visit. Would def go back.”

“Had a lovely dinner with amazing food and a very friendly staff. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and we were able to get a table immediately. Pie was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. Would definitely recommend.”

“We stayed in a triple room with a private bathroom on the first floor. A very cozy place, very clean and with a very good breakfast. The area where the hotel is located is beautiful and just a few minutes from the center of Bath. Very good willingness to serve customers on the part of the place managers.”

“I don’t normally leave reviews but wanted to recognise the excellence of the team at No.15 in hosting a special birthday dinner for my wife and 12 friends. The service was impeccable - attentive but discrete, and the food of excellent quality. The private dining room has a large single table and high ceilings and was perfect for dinner parties. Lucy was also great with the booking - thank you all.”

“Homewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldn’t praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. “Cozy and cute place to stay, night away to go to a concert with a great location! Street was quiet over night and the shared bathrooms were kept very clean and tidy. Bed comfy and breakfast selection was nice with variety of food and drink. Lovely little touches and decor with little snacks around, books and games. Overall would stay again and highly recommend, host puts a lot of effort in the place to make it homely”

“Lovely and remote venue located in a fantastic surrounding. Fully equipped for all your needs and all the rooms having ensuite was a fantastic addition. We walked up to the temple inn for food which is about a mile away. Will definitely plan on returning in the future.”

“Fantastic location in a very nice building. Perfect for proximity to the university and Clifton. The flat has everything you need for a stay. Perfect for a couple, but also worked well for our son to stay with us for one night on the sofa bed before we checked him into halls.”

“We stayed overnight on 22nd October ready for an early flight the next day from Bristol Airport. The room is great, it was clean, had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits (which were well received as we arrived late at night). We'd booked parking there for our week away and felt confident that our car was safe there. We had their minibus to take and pick us from the airport which was only a few minutes drive away. Would definitely use again.”

“Extremely comfortable rooms and easy access to Bristol airport by foot. They have thought of everything and above and beyond a bed for the night. Easy to access without an attended reception. Will be a returning customer.”

“Wow!! Genuine character property renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Great place to stay, with thoughtful touches in each room with guests having full access to the spacious lounge and kitchen area. A light breakfast is included which is an additional bonus. Excellent location, close to restaurants and bars and within easy walking distance of the city centre, albeit you will have to walk back uphill on your return. Metered parking available outside and more available a short distance away. All in all, a fabulous place with warm and welcoming hosts and fully deserving of 5 stars!”

“Staying on business. The hotel was pleasant. Proprietors very welcoming. There was an area where you could heat up your own food and use their cutlery. There was a small cooler in the room. Bed was comfortable; shower was a good size. The room I stayed in faced the main road and roundabout and was noisy with the window open but fine when closed. Will be using again.”

“The owners are lovely, the rooms are very cosy whether a single room or a family room. We travelled with our 22 month old son and it was no bother for them, even preparing a portacot and high chair for us before arrival. The breakfast was delicious too!”

“Greeted by friendly staff which was continued all through our overnight stay. Our room was clean and modern. Our evening meal was served by efficient staff with a smile on their faces. The food was plenty and of great quality. Breakfast was another winner from the kitchen. If we had to stay again in the area we would have no hesitation in staying here again.”

“Great quality fish and chips. Crispy fish on the outside. The chips were chunky and what you’d expect. I pay £20 and everything on the menu was on the overpriced side however the location is great and sitting in the sunshine was totally worth it.”

“Lovely little cottage on a farm. The view of the window is of the stable block and fields. Jo, who runs it, brings an excellent breakfast in the morning. The rooms are more of an apartment with a living area with kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen has enough equipment to be able to cook a meal Overall a lovely place that may well be on my list of lodgings to use again”

“Lovely cottages and close to Bath. Perfect for large groups that can split into different cottages. Pool was great and the Walnut Room was perfect for our needs!”

“Went there on a Tuesday lunchtime. That day was pie and pint day £20. Had the cottage pie with cheesey mash. Absolutely delicious. The young lady serving us was a delight, and the chef came and asked if it was all OK. Nice range of beers and ciders. All in all a great experience.”

“Great location, not far from city centre, but very peaceful area. Lovely spacious clean room and facilities. A lovely quirky, friendly place. Very good valley for money, though I would quite happily pay £10 more for the breakfast to include a cooked option. That is the only thing I could fault this wonderful place for. we accidentally left a phone charger cable and plug in our room and the wonderful owner has sent it back to us and would not let us pay them postage. that is true class, we will definitely be coming back.”

“Great site for visiting Bristol and all it has to offer. It’s a small site with dated facilities but there’s always plenty of hot water. The atmosphere is good with lots of lovely trees and access to Cumberland Basin is through the back gate. The pub next door is always busy but a good place to sit and watch the world go by. It’s a real shame that the site will permanently close soon as the wardens have worked hard to maintain the site. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful to us during our stay and we wish them the best of luck for the future.”

“Enjoyed lunch at the Oakhill Inn and was very pleased to find this hidden gem. Staff were very friendly and helpful and did everything possible to accommodate my wifes allergies. This meant we both had a very enjoyable meal. The food was all good and I can recommend this pub which is larger than it looks from outside. There is a car park but you need to look out for the signs, as it is not immediately next to the pub.”
