We stayed in the Music Room - all the details just made me smile. The breakfast was one of the nicest I have ever had in a hotel. We will definitely visit again.”

“Arrived out of the blue and were made to feel very welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the roast beef was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended. The lovely garden is also dog-friendly, which was a bonus.”

“Lovely rooms and great food! I stayed one night for my mother's birthday and we had a lovely time. The rooms where nice, clean and cozy with a lovely british vibe, when we checked in there was music playing in the room which was a nice touch. I loved the decor of our rooms and both dinner and breakfast were very good. We played some board games at the pub after dinner as well, and this was a peferct location to explore the Cotswolds. Would definitely come back and reccomend!”

“Posting this a little late. It's a nice cosy location to stay in, chose the location en route to another city. The rooms were neat and clean, had all the basic facility and the staff were friendly. The breakfast deal was good value for money and was very nice.”

“I've stayed at The Bowl Inn a couple of timed now for work. The rooms are clean, tidy and a very pleasant place to catch 40 winks. The food has been exceptional and is only surpassed by the outstanding staff, I reserve special praise for (apologies for forgetting your name), the young chap behind the bar who's head is close to the rafters, very polite and funny, the lady manager who, even though I look like I'd been dragged through a hedge after 17 hours of work, and didn't fit the nice atmosphere, was witty and kind, great Christmas jumper too, but special mention to Monica, the lady at breakfast service, always a smile at 7am and makes the best latte around. Have a good Christmas, Gabriel.”

“With the help of the Woody team we hired the skittle alley for a family get together and had a blast. The booking process was made easy by the great staff, who kindly took care of our needs. The buffet food was fantastic and the space was perfect to get everyone together for a fun night playing skittles. Highly recommend and thanks Woody team!”

“This is a big pub with a large dining area and also some hotel rooms. It grew on us. There's nice outdoor seating for the sunny weather and good quality ales. Service is excellent and the place is clean. We first visited just for a quick pint. We went back the next day for a meal. There's limited vegetarian options but the aubergine dish we had was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We were very impressed with the food, and with the decor in the more modern areas. The building has a fascinating history, which is worth reading about. All in all, I strongly recommend a visit here.”

“Our stay at the White Hart Ford was lovely! Quaint, charming, and quiet location for our three-night stay. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Nikki helped us arrange an early AM taxi to the airport when Uber was not available. The Sunday roast was amazing! Overall, wonderful time and happy to have gotten to experience this adorable place.”

“Amazing stay, we absolutely loved everything about the kings arms. The setting is a beautiful little village and the building has a very interesting history, the rooms are amazing and super comfortable. The staff are friendly, marcos the owner was such a nice person. We got put into the bishops room for the night which was bigger than what we had booked. We then booked a table for food and drinks and it was all magnificent. We will definitely be planning a trip to stay here again.”

“Had a lovely roast this afternoon. I had pork and my husband had beef. It was delicious. Could have done with a little more gravy because it was so yummy. We ate outside by the river. There was an absolutely amazing singer on too. (Rhiannon Paige!) The summer vibes were absolutely spot on.”

“The room was excellent. Comfy bed and well appointed. The bathroom was bright and clean. Lots of hot water and well stocked. Location was great, although a bit of a walk from the city center and the bus and train stations.”

“Couldn’t say more about our stay. Warmly greeted by cheerful and helpful staff. Primary contact at front desk (reception area pictured) during our stay was Charlie - informative and positive. We stayed in Rm 28 which looked over Bath’s recreation field (bowling lawn and croquet field) with Abbey in the distance. Only downside was lack of storage - challenge for us as we had a 5 night stay (seems most folks have shorter stays). The Plate has a good breakfast and dinners were varied and good (had our first Sunday roast beef dinner and it was memorable). Location provides 10-15 minute walkable access to a number of activities (rowing on the Avon, viewed our first cricket match, the Holbourne Museum, and all that Bath proper has to offer). I asked a former co-worker (Brit ex-pat) best place for holiday in Britain and he replied quickly, Bath. The Bird Bath made it that much better. Highly recommend.”

“Hosts were extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. Cooked breakfast was second to none, with high quality ingredients. Rooms were clean, spacious, warm. Beds were very comfy. Location only 5 minutes by car to Keynsham train station. Plenty of car parking on site. Relatively quiet, despite being on a main road.”

“Our first stay at Manor Lodge, but it won't be our last stay. Very convenient location to the shops, station, swimming pool and library. The bus stop nearby. We had breakfast in the town, but there is a kitchen where you could make your own breakfast and a shared fridge. Also a lounge-dinning area to eat, or just sit and relax. No noise. I couldnt hear the train or the traffic.”

“Stayed here for 4 nights using it as a base to visit Bath, Wells and Cheddar. The location is ideal and all the staff are very friendly and professional. We ate in the pub for all 4 nights and my wife and I ate different items from the menu. The food for each meal was excellent. There is a very talented chef here! The room included breakfast which was also excellent. Highly recommended staying here or coming to eat here.”
