Lots of other options - last night I had half Scotch Bonnet/Habenero & mango. And finished it for brunch. Always good, and crazy great value for money if you go large or superlarge.”

“We had originally booked a trip to Glasgow and Edinburgh to see Conflict, unfortunately Colin Jerwood passed a few days before. La Belle Angele managed to organise a tribute gig for the same night in his memory, so we attended the event. It was a pretty decent night, not very busy, which was to be expected. All 5 bands were up for the gig and everyone played to the best of their capabilities. Yeah, a couple weren't exactly to our tastes but they made the effort and we'll always respect that. The barstaff were great, obviously it wasn't busy, but they were very quick to serve and very polite. Yeah, no complaints about anything. We were still reeling from the unfortunate demise of the Guvnor.”

“Wow! We decided to cancel our hotel booking and stay at the Ocean Serviced Apartments instead and that was one hundred percent the best decision we made. We originally booked for 6 nights but a few days before we checked in we decided we needed an extra night which was so easy to do. Just before we arrived we found out that they had upgraded us to the executive suite which is on the 7th floor. The views were just amazing and the apartment itself felt very luxurious. From start to finish all the staff were professional, efficient and very friendly. All the instructions were sent via email and explained everything that was required, at no point did we need to question anything. C25 had 2 bedrooms which we had converted into 2 double beds with ensuite bathrooms,one had a shower and the other had a bath with a overhead shower. There was also a separate room with a toilet and wash basin. A closet for the washing room and another for the boiler. The living room was very spacious and had the kitchen at the back and dining area to the front right. There was a balcony with a table and chairs as well. We literally could not of asked for anything better. You could see Edinburgh castle, Arthurs seat and the Royal Yacht Britannia. The bed linen and towels were all fresh and clean and everywhere was just right. You can hear the lift and the floorboards are a bit creaky but it did not bother us at all. There is a cafe and bus stop across the road and an Asda just round the corner. You are about 5 minutes from the harbour which is beautiful to have a walk along. The car park was very secure with ample parking including disabled spaces. If we come back to Edinburgh we would definitely be staying here again.”

“We loved the room, it was very spacious, spotless clean and comfy. High standard. We were positively surprised by the size of the room. Tea, coffe and a kettle and treats in the room was a nice touch. However the best was the amazing owners who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. “Best bar by far in portobello. Staff are excellent, very attentive, happy to chat and always have a smile on their faces. Portobello bar has the best juke box in the lothians as well. Manager/owner Tracy, is a lovely kind person, who knows her stuff. Regulars and visitors are always made welcome.”

“After a disappointing first visit I returned to Medusa where Linda had arranged for Leanne to colour my hair. Leanne understood what I wanted and took time to explore all the options. She paid great attention to detail and I'm really happy with the result. I had previously given this salon 1 star but it truly does deserve a 5 star review. Really good customer service shown and all the staff are lovely. There is a great atmosphere in this salon, and good coffee too!”

“All the reviews were a little off if you ask me. This was a fab location with everything you need super close. If you want modern comfy fresh clean and convenient then this is ace. Bed still moves but it's not going to wreck you life. Bed was comfy mattresses are pretty new. Has everything you need pots pans all the way to nice smelling soap. I'd visit again.”

“We had a great experience eating at Bento Stockbridge today. I have the curry box and my partner had some Bao buns. The curry was delicious. Also the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu when I asked some questions. Cool brand and nice music. Definable recommended for a lunch option of you're nearby and want a quick bite to eat. Highly recommended.”

“Great chineese food in very ordinary surroundings. Essentially a take away with 3 tables and chairs if you want to eat there. I eat there as the lovely chineese lady so lovely to chat to. Tonight I had delicious special noodles with many mixed meat and crunchy veg and prawns for less than fiver.”
