“I visited the Resturant with my partner this morning! From the initial greeting, menu and food quality, the experience was amazing. We have just recently moved to the area and I think we’ve already found our favourite spot! Jean served us today, her attention to detail and patience to get us what we need was exceptional!”
“Out for a birthday meal with family and friends. All lovely, great service from Sue and Rachael. Friendly and efficient when our order was taken at the bar. We will definitely return. Excellent value for money too, for 8 people with desserts too”
“Tasty chicken bites with salad and bbq sauce, coleslaw friendly service you have to order at bar the drink was refill coffees, busy atmosphere, would recommend it”
“Nipped in for lunch. Ordered via the app, drinks arrived quickly by Carl, meal also arrived in good time, cooked lovely and served hot, apparently cooked by Lucas and Thomas. Molly was very attentive and very friendly. Will definitely be back again.”
“Called in for a late lunch and not that busy, had a lovely lunch from the fixed price 3 course menu. Served by the wonderful Emma that looked after us and was able to recommend from the menu and engaged in conversation nicely. Pleasantly surprised and would recommend to others, we will definitely drop by again. Well done and thanks Emma”
“What a lovely place, very friendly staff and the carvery was out of this world! Gorgeous fresh, melt in your mouth meat, home made Yorkshire pudding! Absolutely gorgeous highly recommend”
“My family and I recently had a fantastic experience at Valentinos. The restaurant manager, Carlos, was the consummate host, with a comprehensive command of the menu, and able to offer a brilliant recommendation. Our drinks waiter, Giorgio, was extremely attentive and interacted wonderfully with our children; and Ryan, who dealt with our food, treated us like royalty. A class act all round.”
“Absolutely gorgeous location. Hotel is beautiful, rooms cosy and very clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.”
“I visit regular and have always enjoyed my visit. Food is always bang on, service is always fast and polite. Ordering on the app makes it really convenient. Clean inside and out, lovely surroundings and plenty for the kids. Thanks to all the staff for making our weekly visit enjoyable for all the family.”
“Food You can't really beat the breakfast here as its a Premier Inn breakfast, so an all you can eat buffet. The kids, Mrs and myself love it. The only things I would alter is the bacon cooking a bit longer and adding chopped tomatoes, but for the price I won't complain about it. As with all the Premier Breakfasts you get the hot food, cereal, toast, jams, spreads, refils on tea and coffee. Like I said for the price its bang on. Service Each time ee have been here the table service is quick. The staff always make sure your table is free of plates so you can keep topping up the hole your trying to fill. Usually you can pay after your food but we always pay before. We have never had to have staff fix, alter anything while we have visited. Atmosphere Your typical Premier Inn restaurant style place, clean and tidy and kid friendly. Perfect for families or for business trips even if your on your own you cant really knock it.”
“We went for the first time for my mums birthday. I booked a reservation online and told them it was her birthday asked if they could do something special if possible. Also made them aware that some members of the group were anxious and would prefer somewhere quieter. They went above and beyond our expectations! Plus their food is amazing! Will 100% be coming back. Thank you so much for making my mums birthday special.”
“Karaoke Fridays in this place are ABSOLUTLEY amazing, great atmosphere and fabulous entertainment! Came in today (Sunday) for a roast and this was AMAZING! The beef was so tender and tasty, highly recommend!”
“We had a lovely lunch which was very nicely cooked and brought to our table with no waiting time even though the pub was busy. The staff are helpful and cheerful. A section of the pub is dog friendly and they even have a dog menu which our dog took advantage of and enjoyed a sausage served in a little dog bowl.”
“The best Sunday dinner we’ve ever had! Everything was gorgeously cooked, all 8 people at our table had empty plates. Incredible service from 3 lovely young ladies, highly recommend this place!”
“Had a lovely meal at the Pheasant. Food was delicious and served on hot plates. Reasonably priced food, dog and kid friendly. Staff are all very welcoming. The bar tender called Will was brilliant, he was very accommodating and friendly. He couldn't do enough for us, he's an asset to the pub. Would highly recommend.”
“This is my go to pub of choice. The food is consistently good. Any slight issues are promptly and professionally resolved..... The beer (ale) is consistently good. The staff are more than willing to assist in anything required..... There are a few people with mobility / age issues / problems. It's so heart warming to sit and watch the staff bring their drinks, their condiments and their change back to them with a pleasantry not seen in any other pub in Huddersfield. Can't fault the pub. It is definitely a place where all people are constantly welcomed...... Im a Yorkshire man - so I'm not easily impressed / pleased. Overall 10/10. Also : the toilets are on the same level, so no steps. ☺️”
“Good old fashioned proper pub with local support, haven't been for decades and thought it had closed down. Lady behind the bar was nice and friendly, and dog friendly which is a bonus for me as some are quite fussy regarding pets, Beer was excellent, I'm glad I found it again and will be back more often, Superb.”
“Used to live in the pub run by my grandparents in 2005 loved the place”
“I had a great experience at Grand Valley Bar and Kitchen! The egusi soup was absolutely lovely – full of flavour and cooked to perfection. I was also really impressed with the portion sizes, especially for the price – definitely good value for money. The staff were friendly and attentive, and I was served in good time without any issues. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a tasty and satisfying meal with great service!”
“Upon arrival it feels like a typical sub-urban pub in Leeds full of locals which is what you’d expect. The management, staff and locals are really friendly and they have started serving a Jamaican menu with authentically cooked food, which is absolutely amazing if that’s what enjoy, the food certainly took us back to Jamaica!”
“Great food Good prices Lovely quiet atmosphere Definitely recommend the mash was fantastic”

“I've been coming to the eastfield since it was Charlie Chalks. From working here as a teen to now coming with my family 15 years later. I've never had a bad meal, it's very well priced to other options. A small cohort of staff who have been a familiar face the whole time too. 10/10 would recommend.”
“Stopped at this pub while on an errand because I needed to use a toilet. Since I had some extra time I ordered some chips with beef and spicy sauce for 4.30. Absolutely delicious and prepared in under 5 minutes. Staff was nice and helpful. Will stop by again if I come over to Burnley again”
“On Saturday my friends and I popped in for a drink. We decided the menu looked good and very reasonably priced so we’d have a light bite. Mine arrived but it wasn’t what I ordered - it was very quickly replaced with no fuss Halfway through my meal I nipped to the loo. The remains of my meal were cleared away as my friend thought I’d finished. I hadn’t. I asked our waiter if he still had my meal - he didn’t. No problem not staff’s fault. Ten minutes later a whole new replacement arrived in a takeaway box. I hadn’t even asked for it. Jed served us, was charming, efficient and went above and beyond expectations. Thank you Jed so kind!”
“This place has a lovely atmosphere with professional and friendly staff who were very attentive and willing to ensure that we were most comfortable. They gladly relocated us within the restautrant as a member of my party needed extra support as a result of her less obvious disability. The food was well presented and absolutely delicious and there were really good choices and a variety of food available on the menu. In spite of the fact that the place was very busy with lots of diners in to watch the football, the staff did check us often to make sure that we were ok, comfortable and satisfied with our meals. My friend was there before and recommended the restaurant and I certainty was not disappointed. I will definitely be going there again in the future.”
“Visited the Angel with my daughter, son-in-law and 8-year old granddaughter. Initial impression was the heating was on and a nice welcome from the staff, a good start! Layout is excellent as there is an area laid out as a dining room with bar situated round the corner at the opposite end of the premises. Service the bar was friendly and very efficient. Our food arrived in a timely fashion and we were satisfied with quantity and quality and felt it was very good value for money. Julie and Lawren (hope I’ve spelt correctly) were a credit to the establishment, thanks, Gerald”
“The broken bridge is a nice cosy wetherspoons pub with an outside seating area. There is an extensive range of beers lager and cider including six hand pulled cask conditioned real ales some i have not seen before, the ramsgate gadds she sells seashells was particularly good. The ones we sampled were in excellent condition. The staff are very friendly and efficient the service was quick despite the pub being very busy. I will definitely come back next time i am in the area.”
