“Visited here dozens of times over the last few years, staff are always friendly, especially on the aquatics section. It can be a little pricey on some items but always better to buy from a store rather than Amazon and you can sometimes get absolute bargains on the to clear items! Animals always look well cared for and have had quite a few fish from here and all have been healthy. Very much a last of its kind type of pet store so let’s support it so it keeps its doors open!”

“First time aquarium builder. Went to Maidenhead Aquatics Leeds North just for the fish tank but came back with everything I needed to get started right away! Sharon was very patient and helpful and recommended everything I needed to get started on my aquascape. Got her to thank for this good looking (for my standards at least...), tank!”

“Lacey just had a week at chaiquinta pet hotel. She always loves it there the staff post photos which is always nice to see whilst we on holiday. This time we booked a groom for Lacey too she loves been pampered and the groomer is excellent . The staff are caring and we feel very happy at leaving Lacey knowing she will be very well cared for.”

“Amazing location and everything we needed in our apartments. The apartments are beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly with every enquiry we had. There was complimentary bottles of prosecco in each apartment which was such a lovely touch to my friends hen weekend. Such good value for a central and beautiful apartment. “I love bringing the dogs here and they love it too. There's a large choice of food and treats and toys and even clothing for dogs (why I'd put a coat on a collie is a mystery, but other breeds aren't as hardy). We used to get senior food for our much missed cat and the choice and quality on offer for a senior moggy was handy because she could change her tastes from week to week. They cater for other pets too and the staff are happy, friendly and knowlegible on everything I've I've asked them about. I've given feedback on some of the stuff I've bought and earlier this year our youngest dog came to the puppy club on Saturday mornings. I was particularly impressed by the staff member who was in charge of that as he was watching more than 5 dogs at once and answering questions from every owner and having a play with the pups at the same time (Chris? I can't remember, sorry). I have one suggestion if you want to visit Pets Corner, walk down the outdoor plants section of the garden centre (the garden centre is a different company). Your dog will be happier autside and the garden centre appear to be making the inside too narrow in places. In summary, it's a good petshop to use, ticking all my boxes.”

“Went to Abbey House Vets for an emergency appointment. Staff were very helpful and reassuring saw the vet fairly quickly. I have a 7 year old Cockapoo called Jinny who unfortunately had had 2 fit like episodes earlier, she was very lethargic and her heart beat was rapid . bloods were taken and advice given re said episodes . Would highly recommend.”

“The vets here are actually amazing! They all know our little boy by name and genuinely show that they care for each and every animal. After a real scare with his health when he was a puppy, they nurtured him back to health after a 2 week stay in the hospital. Our Chester now adores coming to Birstall to see all the vets and nurses as they always make him feel so welcome and at ease to ensure that he doesn't suffer anxiety for his follow up visits. I cannot recommend them enough here, we wouldn't take Chester anywhere else!”

“Simone looked after our rabbits while we were away on several occasions during our time living in Leeds. We always felt they were in good hands, and Simone sent so many lovely photos and videos so we could see how they were getting on. Arranging visits was always super straightforward, and Simone is very friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for more. Very sad that we will have to find someone else to look after the bunnies now we have moved away!”

“We've used Adele & the team for around 6 years for our two dogs. We have regular dog walks and use the occasional daycare service with pick up/drop off.They've been brilliant for our dogs throughout that time, dogs always come back knackered and they love when the van pulls up. Highly recommend anyone considering using Top Dog.”
