“Wouldn't take our German Shepherd (Evie) anywhere else now... even after moving further afield I still bring her here. Lexie is really good with Evie, even when she's full of energy and bouncing around!”

“Nice Decent Place for Food + a Great Variety of Drinks. Been going here for sometime now for drinks or dining and always enjoy our visit. Last two visits I've noticed that the service was not up to the level which it was before for example staff taking time your order or not getting around you regularly to check up if anything needed also even after paying the bill I noticed that table was not cleared for sometime. Don't know if it was because of the less staff or just in general. The venue wasn't busy either. One thing for sure was that food was once again top notch. I'd definitely keep going here and recommend others to try this gem of a place on street lane.”

“Great Central location, decent happy hour offers in the bar, and the nicest Hotel food I've ever tried. Breakfast buffet had hot cooked, continental including smoked salmon and various cheeses, cereals, juices, and multiple different milk options. Rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed.”

“Very convenient location in the wharf behind the train station if arriving by train - in fact from one side of the hotel you can see right into the tracks! I had a King room on canal side, extremely clean, quiet and a good bed. Shower has a small step and bathroom a normal door which has pros and cons. Could hear some corridor noise but not disturbing. Reception helpful. Solid breakfast, if not exceptional - good croissants and attentive service. Only caveat maybe on rooms on station side which perhaps could be noisier. Didn't have time to try Sky bar unfortunately. Overall, exceeded my expectations, would recommend.”

“Absolutely fantastic visit today! My partner and I went to buy all of the supplies we need for our first dog. The two girls there (Beth and Courtney I think?) were brilliant! Both super helpful and patient with us as we got all the supplies we needed, and encouraged us to get the Pets at Home app too. Will definitely be returning here for anything we need in the future!”

“Cannot thank Sophie enough for her knowledge and caring nature, I have had a poorly puppy for a couple of days and suspected she was allergic to her puppy food, mainly when opening a new bag, she wasn't eating much and had a bad tummy. Sophie explained every dog food in detail and which ones would help a sensitive tummy, we settled on AVA, within minutes of returning home the puppy had eaten a full bowl of food and her energy returned. I cannot thank her enough.”

“This fabulous pet shop has absolutely everything you could need. From furry pets to exotic ones you can buy all your feed and supplies here. Lots of live pets to purchase too including rabbits, snails, fish and lizards. We purchased a snail here for my daughters birthday and they kept him there for us a couple of weeks until it was time to give him to her. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, that are happy to help.”

“Went to a wild bird workshop today (was free- just need to book) with my daughter . It was run in store by the lovely Jess who was super patient and informative with the children joining in. They got to learn about garden birds and make their own bird feeder. Thought this was a lovely idea seen as most children love coming in and seeing the animals it also helps educate them in a fun way. Great store too- well laid out and helpful staff”

“The staff here were absolutely lovely, you could tell that they really loved the animals. I was skeptical about going to pets at home as opposed to a small business but I was limited on options. They gave me lots of advice and I went home with a lovely Guinea pig to pair with my skinny pig”

“Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Had all the product we needed and beautiful bunnies. Ensured we had correct size living arrangements before sale and spent as long we needed showing us how to do health checks and feeling confident with them. Top job Rob”

“Managed to get a short notice appointment for our poorly cat. She was seen promptly and the vet was lovely with her and explained thoroughly what the problem was and what treatment was required both immediately and going forward. Very happy with the service she received”

“Lovely hotel, last visited 6 years ago and still as good as it was the last time. Great vibe and ambiance, my room - a Club - was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches like four Nespresso pods, fancy tea, nice biscuits and a couple of Ferraro Rochers. Beds incredibly comfortable, couldn’t hear any noise at all, and black out curtains kept out the light! It was my birthday stay and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for two free cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fab, environment was great - 10/10 all round for the stay and would def come back. Price/performance ratio excellent.”

“Honestly never expected the room to be this good and spotless. Room is neat, cozy, good colour combo, spacious with all the necessities. It felt like brand new room. Location is also good. I give a solid 10/10. And yes breakfast is well worth the money too.”

“We use the Leeds East hotel regularly but our visit this weekend was a really great experience. Young man on reception was very welcoming and professional. A special mention to the lady who put some treats in my daughters room as she heard it was my granddaughters 2nd birthday. What a lovely touch. And finally the lady in the breakfast room who was so lovely with my young granddaughters giving them a chocolate biscuit and a balloon each. This service was really welcomed so thankyou all and apologies I didn’t get names of the people who really made a difference.”

“Stayed here with family for two nights at weekend in November. Excellent stay. Fantastic quiet location but within easy reach of everything. Fabulous staff and service with a smile. Only small complaint was WiFi wasn’t the best - we have teenagers!”

“Haven't stayed in a bedroom here but had a great works Xmas do last Friday. Food was lovely and service was friendly. The DJ additionally played some very good music. Free parking after 18:00 round the corner on Sweet Street which feels safe enough especially as I have an older vehicle. Those who stayed over reported a positive experience with the rooms, the blackout curtains being a godsend on Saturday morning.”

“First time staying here. Cheap and cheerful, perfectly clean, comfy, great central location. Highlight was the lovely girl Lia on front desk who was so friendly, made us feel so welcome, great humour. Really impressed with her customer service. 10/10. Will be staying here again”

“Good premier inn. Staff are great. Room clean and quiet. Breakfast good. Shame parking is now chargeable, even for disabled customers. Bathroom a bit sweaty sock smelling. The TV reception needs looking at as the BBC channels were not available when I arrived. Used auto tuning option and found them, but the were breaking up and pixilated.”

“I stayed here for my first ever trip overseas, and this is my first time booking into a hotel. Amazing experience. At this hotel. Originally got there at 9 am and I thought I could check in early. Because my flight came in at 8. And I thought I could check in early. The reception said i can’t check in yet it’s too early but she held my suitcase and kept it safe for me when I went outside and explored Leeds city centre. I came back when I was closer to my time the chicken. I got my suitcase and checked into my room. .It’s a good hotel room nice and spacious. It’s exactly like an apartment you have everything you need like a microwave washing machine dishwasher stuffed top pots and pans etc. and they even give you dishwashing liquid. I know really beautiful of you. the bed was like the most comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. I also did enjoy the croissants and coffee in the morning in the reception. Those very nice not to have to buy breakfast every morning,. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying at this hotel. So I recommend coming here. You are very close to the city centre like a 17 minute walk if you don’t want to walk you can also take the bus that’s only a minute walk from the hotel. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel if I come back to Leeds.”

“Stayed hear for a night whilst visiting to watch a concert. Arena is right on the doorstep. Restaurant was closed for refurbishment but managed a sneak peek through the door and looks great. Will definitely stay here again”

“We arrived at the Kirkstall Pets at Home store with a cat we had rescued. The sales staff were so lovely and took time to give us loads of advice about cat carriers and how to get a cat into one. We then had a drop in appointment to check whether he was chipped. He had been chipped and the receptionist contacted the family, who wanted to see him before they decided what to do. We were offered hot drinks while we waited for the family to turn up. The lady on reception was very sympathetic and sweet. The family didn’t want him anymore so we made an appointment for a health check before neutering. Unfortunately Monty went on a walkabout and we had to cancel. He returned and the male receptionist was very understanding and booked us in again. What a lovely place with lovely staff. ❤️”

“I've never stayed in a Holiday Inn before - the staff were all so welcoming! We were assisted by James & Isabella who were extremely helpful after a mixup with our booking that wasn't the fault of Holiday Inn. The room was immaculate & a very good size - very much needed after a 4½ hour drive. Would recommend this hotel to everyone”

“I had an excellent experience at the Hampton by Hilton in Leeds. The hotel was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable — everything you’d hope for in a city stay. Breakfast was fresh and well-stocked, and the location made it easy to get around. A special mention has to go to Emily on reception, who was absolutely fantastic. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. As we were not from the area we asked her for restaurant recommendations and where to go in the city and she was really helpful. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole stay feel even more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, and she set the tone for a brilliant visit. Highly recommend this hotel!”
