“A bit late leaving this review but we left our rabbit here for the first time august last year. My daughter was very worried about leaving him as he is an indoor bunny but when booking online you can choose indoor/outdoor accommodation which made her feel better, also leaving information on dislikes, diet etc. Easy drop off and collection, lovely lady to greet us. Lovely to receive updates and photos to see online while your away too. Would highly recommend.”

“My (very large) rescue dog had his first groom here today and I will definitely be bringing him again! Enquiring and booking was very easy- communication was great. The lady I spoke to asked lots of questions about my dog and what I wanted from his groom. My main worries were knowing that my dog doesn’t enjoy being bathed/brushed, and his size. The team were able to successfully complete his groom and he seemed comfortable enough. He looks so lovely and tidy. It really has made such a difference! I booked as someone I knew recommended Spoilt Rotten and now I will also be recommending to anyone in need of a groomers :)”

“Excellent boarding kennels. Our family have used it since the 1960's. Have just picked our current 2 dogs up. They came home well fed, happy, and spotlessly clean. I cannot fault this boarding kennels.”

“Excellent boarding kennels! We’ve been using Canada Farm for many years for boarding and grooming. The kennels are immaculate and the staff are always friendly and super confident when handling the dogs. I totally recommend them and I wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else.”

“My Guinea pigs love it there! Since finding Charlie I would not leave my piggies anywhere else, they are extremely well looked after and always come home happy and relaxed. Charlie would send pictures and updates to let me know how the piggies were getting on which helped me relax and enjoy my time away. Highly recommend by me and piggies :)”

“I boarded my cat and dog with Oak Cottage Kennels & Cattery for the first time as our usual kennels and cattery were fully booked. I went to take a look and was very impressed by the very knowledgeable, professional and friendly staff. I could tell immediately that they put the welfare of the pets first. They were very good at explaining how the kennels work on a daily basis. I booked in two trial days for our Labrador and then both my cat and dog stayed for two weeks. I had very regular photos and it was obvious they were both enjoying their stay. I would like to thank everyone for looking after my pets in an exceptional manner. Harvey and Simba will definitely book again! A massive thank you to all !”

“Having a cat or indeed any pet is akin to me, as having a child. They are all precious gifts, I would only entrust another person or organisation that had the same expectations, values and standards as myself, if not higher. From the moment I viewed Lily’s Retreat in 2020 & met Louise I knew this would be the perfect place to leave my cat after lockdown. Almost four years on I have to say I haven’t been disappointed an iota. She is loved, cared for, pampered, fed & watered perfectly. I know this as when she returns home she comes back as a very happy bunny.”

He’s a special boy like all our dogs are. He’s had a ruff first 10 months of his life so I was worried but I shouldn’t have been, so much so you’ll be seeing him again in April.”

“Came for a viewing beforehand and I honestly wasn’t too sure, mainly with the length of time they’re alone overnight without access to outside - it seems like this might be standard practice in kennels though. BUT, it seems like he had a good time. It was my first time boarding my 8.5 year old dog (he’s done daycare and stayed overnight with sitters, just not kennels before). He ate his food which was a surprise, but a good sign. I chose Haytor because of the ability for him to play with other dogs. My dog is nervous with new people, but he gains confidence around other dogs. The drop off felt quite like I was being rushed a bit, but this could just be because they’re aiming to spend as much time as possible with the dogs. It would be great to see photos of them whilst there, through Instagram stories for example (although it seems super busy so that might not be possible). I emailed to check on him in the afternoon and got a response the following morning, which was fine. An option to drop off at the daycare time, if your dog is social, would be great too instead of just 10-12 or 2-5! Especially on a Saturday overnight as you do end up paying for two days for around 24 hours as there are no afternoon pickups on a Sunday, so a single sat to sun overnight comes out quite expensive that way, though I understand different kennels have different booking setups. Overall, my dog came back happy, he ate and although very glad to see me, didn’t seem too bothered by his stay. Would recommend to anyone who feels their dog would benefit in a kennel environment from having other dogs around them! Will use Haytor kennels again for my dog. Thanks for taking care of my boy! :)”

“Our doggy loves going to Birchwood kennels, she always goes in very happily and unlike other kennels we have sent her to, also comes out very happy, as well as smelling great thanks to the grooming service! The staff clearly love the dogs and I would highly recommend.”

“A late review considering I've been entrusting Brian and his family with my cat for a few years now. But I just wanted to say that Banstead are brilliant - Brian kindly collects and returns my cat at all hours of the day which is so helpful as I don't have a car and am usually rushed off my feet trying to get organised to travel. I leave him several times a year with Brian and he always comes back happy, relaxed, groomed and well fed. So thank you for providing a flexible and caring service that gives me peace of mind. In fact, sometimes I wonder if he prefers it there.....!”

“My husky stayed here for 7 days while i was away, the ladies at the kennel were amazing so caring and friendly and my dog immediately felt comfortable around them. My dog was well looked after and the groomer deshedded my dog before she came home which was very kind of them to do. Definitely recommend and will be using this kennel again. Thank you”

“We were in Penny and plenty of room. Double bed high so partner could access easily. Quiet corner on the farm. Access to bbq charcoal and logs. Loads of space and loads of information on local area activities pubs shops and food. Sat watching deer, fox, kestral and buzzards with loads of swallows and wildlife. Saw the woodpecker this morning which we had heard all weekend. Well signposted for walks bins and recycling. Big tub of games available to use.”

“Bed and Biscuits were kind enough to look after our two pups, gin and Ivy, for two nights whilst we got married. They are my babies I get incredibly nervous leaving them but Bed & Biscuits were so accommodating and the facilities really are amazing. They came back so happy and two days later are still shattered! Thank you so much and I highly recommend!”

“London Woof provides a wonderful caring service. Both our dogs enjoy staying at London Woof and we know they are well cared for by staff. Our dog rec'd an insect bite while we were on holiday and we were kept well informed as LW took all the steps to get him swiftly seen by our vet of choice - and all was resolved. We would definitely recommend London Woof to other dog owners.”

“We had an incredible stay at Coworth Park – Dorchester Collection. We spent five days there with our one-year-old, who had the greatest time in the kids club, the pool, and watching the polo games — such a unique experience for a little one. The accommodation was impeccable, the service genuinely outstanding, and every meal was memorable. It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and truly welcoming to families, but Coworth Park delivered on every front. Overall, a fantastic stay. We can’t wait to return.”

“The ladies in this Salon are absolutely amazing. Joanna, Karolina and Kat - you are absolute angels. We started bringing our sweet Cassie here after she had bad experiences with other groomers - she had become afraid of the whole grooming process. Doggies Furever are ALWAYS so patient with her and they never do anything that stresses her out. It's very hard for me to trust anybody with my dog but I trust all of these ladies without any hesitation. Cassie is hard work, she's strong and very stubborn but they always manage to do such an amazing job on her. We went in yesterday and we were emotional because we had received some bad news about our Cassie - not only were they so comforting and supportive, they offered so much advice. Thank you for EVERYTHING xxx”

“Went for a birthday breakfast at the Royal Lancaster hotel, I had the breakfast buffet and was very happy with everything, the service was great, the breakfast options were plenty, with sweet and savoury there was something for everyone, please note if you’re Muslim you’ll have to request halal sausages from the kitchen as the ones out aren’t halal but glad there’s an option for that. The French toast was also amazing. Marcelina, Mounir and Ayska were lovely and very attentive throughout our breakfast, thank you again.”

“This B/B was the most perfect location to stay in absolute comfort and attention for visiting Harry potter studio tours, we took our 8 year old grandson and booked the wizardry room as a surprise and when we arrived Marrick met us at reception and he was so friendly and took us to a double room, my grandson was a little bit bored, then he said wrong one and took him to the Harry potter room Elliots face was just amazing to witness, I can only sum this B/B in a few words Room perfect, management perfect, Continental breakfast perfect, location perfect, value for money perfect.
