βVery friendly and helpful staff, reasonable charges and our dogs seemed to be happy. Recommended.β
βA late review considering I've been entrusting Brian and his family with my cat for a few years now. But I just wanted to say that Banstead are brilliant - Brian kindly collects and returns my cat at all hours of the day which is so helpful as I don't have a car and am usually rushed off my feet trying to get organised to travel. I leave him several times a year with Brian and he always comes back happy, relaxed, groomed and well fed. So thank you for providing a flexible and caring service that gives me peace of mind. In fact, sometimes I wonder if he prefers it there.....!β
βExcellent boarding kennels. Our family have used it since the 1960's. Have just picked our current 2 dogs up. They came home well fed, happy, and spotlessly clean. I cannot fault this boarding kennels.β
βMy dog Reuben loves going to Vavaβs for his groom and teeth clean. The salon is lovely and we are always warmly welcomed. They treat Reuben very gently and professionally. I would happily recommend both the grooming and day care.β
βI adore apartments, so much better than hotels, a group if 4 friends were very comfortable here and the price when split 4 ways made this high end part of London insanely affordableβ
βWe were in Penny and plenty of room. Double bed high so partner could access easily. Quiet corner on the farm. Access to bbq charcoal and logs. Loads of space and loads of information on local area activities pubs shops and food. Sat watching deer, fox, kestral and buzzards with loads of swallows and wildlife. Saw the woodpecker this morning which we had heard all weekend. Well signposted for walks bins and recycling. Big tub of games available to use.β
βWe have been using these kennels for our dogs, esta and bugsy, for nearly 7 years . They/our dogs love going there when I pull in once, sometimes twice a year they both go crazy/excited and always remember the place every time. The staff go above and beyond every time, and my dogs love them also. This year, there is a grooming service at the kennels, which is a win for us picking up our clean, fluffy dogs is such a bonus, and the groomer Nat did such an amazing job .β
βMy kitten was taken good care off at her stay with this cattery. The owners were lovely and was always happy to update me with how my cat is when I called. She was fed well and kept warm highly recommend! Thank you xxβ
βLovely rooms for the cats and lots of places for them to lay and play with toys. Also I was updated with pictures of my babies whilst I was away. Definitely will be using them again in the future.β
βFaye's care & commitment is extraordinary. Our two cats have been cared for at her establishment for many years. I would not think of taking them anywhere else.β
βWe had our Civil ceremony reception here and what a great team with Matt and the other amazing staff. The food was spectacular and my family loved to spend our special day with you at The Grange. You made our special day even more special!β
βAmazing Hotel, stayed one night. Great service, from the start to end. Dinner venues very Cousy, with outstanding service. Room very clean and comfortable bed, love the fairy showers, smoothing and soft. Breakfast deal itβs amazing, a little morning buffet where we can find a bit all you can eat. There is a water dispenser outside where we can fill our bottles, great idea. Silence and sleeping night for middle of Bankside location. Also great tourism attraction within one mile from it, Tate, Shakespeare Theatre, Borough market, George Inn the oldest gallery inn the world. And moreβ¦β
βAn ideal campsite if you want to visit London without an expensive hotel stay. A short Uber ride into West Drayton where you can get a train or underground straight into the city. If London isnβt your bag then you can walk into Dunham (downhill but uphill on the way back) where the is a selection of eateries and shops. Closer to the site is a small airfield where there is the Biggles restaurant as well as a cafe.β
βI have used hillside kennels several times in the last 2 years... my dogs always seem pleased to see the staff and are in good health & spirits when i pick them up. The kennels is clean and tidy, staff are helpful & friendly and i know my dogs enjoy having a run in the large grass paddock..... Best boarding kennels i have used in this area ....β
βIβm very gratefull to the girls that worked so hard to look after my bambino amongst many other cats. Everything was organised well and the pens where tidy and clean at all times. I was kept up to date with how my bambino was which put my mind at ease. I would certainly use this cat boarding lodge again if I ever needed a safe place for my cat xxβ
βThe food was outstanding! Highly recommend the pizza, they are stone baked and covered in fresh produce. Staff were friendly and the beer was cold. Only negative is the parking, there isn't any. But that's the whole town to be honest.β
βHidden gem If your anything like me, I tend to type into google βhidden gemsβ then the area when looking for places to eat. Well this is a hidden gem, probably known to the Bayford community and now me. I drive past the bakers arms twice a day. Each time I do, something else catches my eye and I think to myself, I have to come here. So, today I was driving home from work and thought let me see what the name is. As I carried on home I thought to myself iβm coming back here tonight. Its now or never. I got home, got changed and grabbed my partner and left for the Bakers Arms. I had not googled this place or looked it up online, i just knew the name and location. All I can say is wow! As soon as we walked i we where greed so kindly by Martin and walked around to the dining room. The dining room was cosy, very well presented and clean. We both had the lasagne and it was amazing. The flavours burst in your mouth and where lasting, even the chips we ordered on the side where perfectly crisp. Both my partner and I rate our food out of 10 at home and in restaurants I can say i have never got past a 7.5. Today was the the first time I have ever heard him say a meal is a 10 and then change it to an 11. From hospitality, location and food, the Bakers Arms is a must visit. It should be in the class of a hidden gem. Im glad i followed my instincts today and got experience their venue. Thank you to both Martin and Bev for being a great host and providing impeccable food. My Partner is still talking about the lasagne now so thank you for making a lasting impression on him. We look forward to visiting again very soon. All the best Georgina and Charlieβ
βHad the privilege of being served by Trent and Matthew in the restaurant. Delicious food, fast service and gorgeous venue. Highly recommend for a small night out or a dinner for large groups.β
βFirst time visiting with my friends and will definitely be back! Food was lovely and a very welcoming atmosphere, a special thank you to Clio who served us and was amazing! So glad I found this gem!β
βWe enjoyed everything about our 2 night stay. The location was convenient, the food was delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly, the room was comfortable, and the check in-out process was smooth.β
βSecond time staying here in 2025. Itβs a great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and modern with the required facilities. The breakfast buffet is very good with lots of different options. The location is super convenient for most tourist attractions. The Waterloo station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.β
βOur two cats were very well cared for at Treetops. The staff are friendly and efficient, and seem to care about the cats they're looking after. On dropping ours off I saw where they were going to be for the week and I was impressed that it was spotlessly clean. A great local cattery.β
βWe have visited here many times, simply because of the location, the food, the pub itself and the great service. Almost every time we visit, we are served by the lovely Angela. She always remembers us and greets us with a friendly smile. She has a wonderful sense of humour and always makes our visit a pleasure along with her lovely customer service. Will be visiting many more times in the futureβ
βWe chose to stay here for a weekend in the ready tents. The glamping tents were well equipped with fridge, hob, kettle, toaster etc. It also had bunk beds and a double bed perfect for family of 4 or 5. The sleeping areas were great with blackout sides for a good night's sleep. The site had very clean washing facilities and staff were friendly and welcoming. We will easily be coming back again for another weekend!β
βVery quiet property, safe and secure and amazing location. My husband and l have been staying for over a month and are really pleased we chose to stay here. Very close to the train station, Sainsburyβs, and the Shopping Centre is just round the corner too. Lots of lovely cafes and shops nearby , as well as great value for money , extremely helpful staff; Katie is such a great host and Jamie is always happy to help! I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Katie and Jamie!!β
βWow, wow, wow! I recently had the pleasure of boarding my Otterhound, Otti, at Weyfarm Boarding Kennels, Ottershaw, Chertsey, and I canβt express how thrilled I am with the experience! Initially, I was quite anxious about leaving him for two weeks, especially since I usually entrust his care to his original breeder. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a new place, but my worries quickly vanished once I found this gem. From the outset, the booking process was seamless. I appreciated being able to upload Otti's medical information and confirm his kennel cough vaccination, which made me feel more secure about his stay. I was genuinely nervous about leaving him without any prior trial run, but my concerns were unfounded. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how secure and well-managed the facility is. The staff were professional and willing to answer any questions I had, putting my mind at ease. Dropping Otti off was a breeze, and the entire process was remarkably smooth. Today, when I picked him up, I was greeted warmly and the check-out process was just as easy as check-in. To my delight, Otti was back in my arms within minutes! It was clear to me that heβd been well cared for and treated amazingly during his stay. Iβm so grateful to have found a boarding place that prioritises quality and truly cares for the dogs entrusted to them. Iβm already looking forward to booking again for next year! If youβre looking for a trustworthy kennel, I highly recommend Weyfarm Kennels. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my Otti! Seanβ
βAmazing experience for our friendβs birthday lunch. The food was delicious with lots of vegan options and the staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Fallon in particular was a wonderful host and made sure we were really well looked after. Would definitely recommend visiting if youβre looking for a genuinely warm and special environment β€οΈβ
βIf you're an American, the room may seem small. My wife and I were good, but we barely spent time in the room. The staff were great, super helpful. The location is amazing for getting to your sights and tours.β
βSmall but cosy rooms with high-quality sheets and towels. The staff are pleasant, and the breakfast is very good. The cookies at reception are excellent. Do note that laundry charges incur an additional 20% VAT on top of the listed prices. Also, if itβs raining, be prepared to navigate a few puddles on the short walk to Ealing Broadway.β
βUsual Ibis standard. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff very friendly. Breakfast great! 10 min. walk to Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station and then one tube stop from O2 arena and at least a third the price of hotels on peninsula - What's not to like?β
