“A surprise dinner booked by hubby. The restaurant is cosy with proper tablecloths. The mirrors on the walls make it look bigger but it was lovely. Staff are friendly, menu was quite extensive in choice and they still had specials available. Choices were beef carpaccio- veal - cauliflower cheese - minestrone soup and lam in mushroom and red wine sauce , potato’s and mixed veg…. It all tasted really good - we will be back”

“10/10! Fantastic food, authentic French flavors! It’s a perfect spot for a light lunch/tea as the serving sizes are on the smaller side. If it comes with a green salad, it will be served on a small plate. Next time I’ll try an entree sized item as I’m still a bit peckish — but to be fair, I did come in for a very late lunch. The little green salads are delicious and crunchy. I had the salmon and leek quiche and my partner the seafood crepe — both outstanding! Looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend!”

“We hosted a baby shower here, and it was amazing! We had just over 80 people and the staff were all so accommodating and helpful. Anything we had forgot, they had and provided for us. Very friendly and welcoming. The venue itself is also beautiful and was set up especially to accommodate us bringing our own food. We appreciate all the help we had in setting up and packing away. We will definitely be back! And recommending the place to everyone. Thank you again so much for helping to make our day one to remember.”

“We had the most incredible night at the Palm Brasserie tonight. We staff knew it was our anniversary and made such an effort to make it very special. The menu was vast, with lots of different options to cater for everyone. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Make sure to leave room for the deserts! The cocktails were fantastic too! However, the main part that stood out for us was the manager. We haven’t received service like this for a very, very long time. He made our anniversary and could not do enough for us. We are so pleased that we only live 10 minutes away as we will definitely be coming here again and again. The room for larger parties also looks great! Thank you so much again, I could not recommend it enough!”

“Had a lovely visit to Miller and Carter today. We were served by Joe who was a lovely, friendly and happy. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. I had the duck and mango salad and it was very tasty (just slightly to many chillies). We were there to celebrate my son's graduations and a birthday and they brought over free desserts for both and sang happy birthday. Brilliant visit and will definitely visit again.”

“My now wife and I chose LSB to celebrate our wedding reception and we could not have been happier! Jason and the team made sure our special day went flawlessly and truly was the most beautiful day of our lives! The service was 12/10! The food was 12/10! The attention to detail was incredible. They knew the seating plan and which guest had which dish, they accommodated our request for gaps in between courses and they just genuinely provided the most incredible experience anybody could wish! The venue is beautiful and honestly I can’t recommend them enough! I would give 6stars if I could. We will definitely be coming back!”

“A little bit of Italy in Marlow! I have been a customer of Satollo for many years....most definitely the best coffee in Marlow, Henley - everywhere in fact! The cafe interior is rustic and has a fabulous vibe and the outdoor seating in Summer or Autumn with the canopy and heaters make for a cosy place to sit. The cafe may be small, however, the food they serve is plentiful and delicious from Pesto Bruschetta (my favourite) Parmigiana, cheese/meat boards served beautifully and often can not be finished so you go home with a box! and another favourite, Grigliato sandwich or salad....yum! The staff are very polite and friendly and the new Manageress, Karolina is quick, efficient and able to "read" the room resulting in the service she and her staff give to be first class. It says it all when the young students come back to work there year after year! They remember your name and your coffee choice (which I love) and even ask after my elderly mother who visits now and again. The fresh homemade cakes and pastries are amazing....chocolate croissant being my grandchildren's favourite and the lemon cannoli is a must! Whether it is lunch/coffee with friends or a peaceful half hour on your own sipping a lovely cup of coffee or glass of wine, I would definitely recommend a visit to Satollo. Enjoy!”

“I celebrated my 21st birthday at Cote Brasserie with my girlfriend. Sam, Melissa and Angel were brilliant waiters, very attentive and friendly. Made my birthday very special and even gave me a card which was a lovely touch! Thank you :)”

“One of the best little known gems in Reading. Whilst the menu is mostly stake, the enoki mushrooms are amazing and should not be missed by veggies. The wine and cocktail list is extensive but expertly curated.”

“This was our second time here and it was just as good as the first time if not better. Our waitress for the night (Lara) was brilliant and made our experience perfect. It’s nice to see someone so young take so much pride and have so much awareness in what she’s doing. “First visit back for a couple of months and greeted by Armando like long lost friends. As per usual the food and service were superb. The new Hake was sublime and my wife enjoyed her beef cheek. “Lovely food this afternoon, I had the Lamb Shank, which came to me piping hot, with lots of vegetables & piping hot minty gravy. It was delicious and the hottest meal I’ve had in a very long while .. well done team. Hubby had a burger & chips and his was tasty, and again served piping hot. The main meal came after a little wait which was fine. The drinks came quickly & the only concern was the wait for our dessert, which the one waitress who was serving everyone with food, brought to us as quickly as she could. She was rushed off her feet & She didn’t stop, but was very efficient and had a smile even though she was so busy. I really admired her. The wait for our dessert was a bit unfortunate and unnecessary, but it was delicious. I think they needed another waiter / waitress as one was not enough for the amount of people there today. The main problem was with the state of the restroom / toilets… that seriously needs addressing asap. We’ll definitely return though as the food is always delicious & fresh & piping hot, & we’d recommend it to anyone too. Lovely setting by the river.”

“We came here on a very dull and rainy afternoon for lunch and it was still rather busy, so assume it is a locals favourite. Service was with a friendly smile and was swift and efficient. Some excellent choices of drinks as well as food, something for everyone, the half hungry or starving! Decent non alcoholic drinks / beers for the drivers of this world which was nice! Opted for the fresh plaice and deer steak both succulent and perfectly cooked and proportions were perfect. Prices on par with others in the area, all very clean and spacious, there are a lot of decent eateries in Henley but this one is in definitely in the top half.”

The cafe itself is located very central on this nice little English town. @tmosphere is as always cool, very French feel and people sit near to each other but still there is some tables that can be separated from others. SERVICE Very good! We were served by lovely ladies, Daniella and Fatima.Very kind and professional... FOOD Excellent food.Very tasty and well cooked. I was there with friends from Kerith church in Windsor and we had a lovely time.... each one orederd something different...all were satisfied. Highly recommend this place and if ever in the vicinity I would go there again...”
