“General thoughts Went on a work trip and stayed a day and a night. This place was fantastic. Looked as good as the pictures suggested. Overall, really clean as well. I think the price was reasonable too. Would describe it as a sort of studio apartment when I booked for the doublebed single room option (can't recall exactly what it was called). Rather than give you a physical key, you'll have to download an app on your phone to get your apartment key to unlock your door. If you rely solely on mobile data it can sometimes be a bit laggy but once you get access to their wifi it works fine. And you can connect to your apartment's wifi from outside your door. Bedroom Nice double bed with decent amount of space to walk around the bed. Had a functioning heater at the foot of the bed. Had a closet to hang your clothes with plenty of hangers to use. New sheets fitted and they provided large clean towels to use if required with smaller hand towels as well. Had a screen to close off the bedroom from the hallway and the living room. Toilet Sparkly clean toilet, shower and floor. They provided shampoo, soap and hand soap for washing. Plenty of toilet roll as well. Ventilation system was good, so didn't leave the place feeling humid. Good water pressure with the shower and good temperature range as well. Living room + Kitchen Kitchen had full sets of clean utensils and cutlery to use. Dishwashing liquid provided as well. You could cook using their pots, pans on their induction cooktop. They also had a large microwave and toaster to use. Living room had a large tv and a portable air-conditioner. Also had a dining room which could seat 4. Sofa was large enough to fit 3 or you could sleep on it if you want. Store cabinet Had an iron and ironing board as well as washing machine. Overall, very pleased with the place and would consider staying there again if I needed to.”

“I was dubious about spending a night here with my family as some reviews were bad. However I really don’t understand some of them. We have gone away for a night and this was the closest and cheapest hotel so we thought why not. We came in and the receptionist was nice and helpful. Our room was a family room on the second floor at the back of the building (room 203) and it was really nice. It was clean, stocked well with tea, the sheets and bedding were clean as my wife has a thing for checking. There were towels and body wash. We were really impressed! The beds were comfy and they had extra pillows. I can say for £64 a night you really can’t go wrong. Would stay here again.”

“I come regularly to visit my children and stay here. The rooms are a little dated, but don’t let this put you off because the beds are super comfy as they have recently changed them all. I had a fantastic nights sleep. The staff are always very welcoming, helpful and polite.Parking is great and I think the price is extremely reasonable for what you get here. This is always my first choice when I come back to Bracknell.”

“Visited the bar several evenings running, as there was great football coverage. The bar was very comfortable and welcoming, warm, and the beer was great! Will definitely be visiting again.”

“i have stayed in the hotel for a few days and it has been absolutely fabulous. I have experienced great facilities and the service from the staff has been amazing. i paid a good price which i didnt expect too much from but the room has all your essentials and i have nothing to complain about. I saw many bad reviews which felt as if they were absolute nonsense and that price you pay suits the accommodation. Ill definetely stay here again. Thank you”

“Couldn't get a room en route from Reading to Bournemouth for under £160. This place has one for £57. I was dubious but had to do it. Thank God I did. Nice little run of rooms, basic, a little dated but clean and equip with everything you would need. View from my room over the church, TV, tea and coffee, good shower, desk and chair and two beds. Looking forward to breakfast.”

“I stayed here with a group and we were all a little worried because of the other reviews. We were subsequently pleasantly surprised at the fact that the hotel was actually lovely. It may not be the most modern place I've ever stayed but the beds are comfortable, the rooms are relatively spacious and the facilities are great. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.”

“A truly outstanding Cattery! On arrival we were greeted quickly by friendly and helpful staff. They showed us where our cat would be staying and engaged with our cat happily and playfully from the outset. They had already printed the notes we had sent and had a good pre-understanding of what our cat eats and likes etc. When we returned after a week, our cat was happy and was very comfortable with all the staff. The staff told us all about the stay and what he’d been up to! The room our cat had, had a webcam which was also a nice addition to see how he was doing whilst we were away. “We’ve just picked up our 5yo Boerboel from a long weekend at Downlands. Mikey is dog reactive and can be fairly fussy with people and I could not be happier with Andrew and the team. I called once a day to check in, and was reassured he was happy and in good hands. Upon collection he was very excited and had clearly had a good time. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be using them again.”

“Absolutely love this cattery. The whole place is clean, they are very accommodating and can send updates if you ask. You can bring your cat’s bed/toys/food but they can also provide pretty much everything. They are highly professional, very knowledgeable and take extremely good care of our furry friends. I had a (now deceased) senior cat who was very anxious and he always was looked after as if he was their own. They were so good to him. My two kittens are currently there for their first stay and my mind is at peace. I know they will look perfectly after them.”

“Visited Heckfield Place for the second time this year, and the experience was every bit as impressive, if not more so, than our first stay last year. This place will always hold a special place in my wife and I’s hearts, and even objectively it stands out as one of the top-tier establishments we’ve ever stayed at. This time we had the privilege of dining at Hearth Restaurant, which was absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out; there wasn’t a single thing you could fault them for. We also loved walking around the lovely grounds, enjoying the afternoon tea and cake service, and relaxing with drinks in the intimate Moon Bar. Everything felt seamless, from the interiors to the setting to the hospitality. In short, Heckfield Place is exceptional in every sense, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.”

“Simon & Jason are celebrating 20 years since they opened the Wellington Arms & it's packed every day when open with regulars & new 'word of mouth' clients. 10 out of 10 for quality of food, service, atmosphere & beautiful garden & surroundings. Great menu & daily dishes that made it difficult to choose. I had the 2xbaked cheese souffle stacked with a mountain of finely grated parmesan & my friend had scallops (both simply the best) followed by perfectly cooked calves liver on a bed of mashed potato & leeks with pancetta & perfect mix of herbs then their home-made ice cream.”

“I left my two ringneck parrots with Amanda for a week. She knows how worried I was as it was my first time leaving them. And i am really happy to find her. My birds loved the stay and Amanda looked after them so well. They were given fresh fruits, vegetables and their favourite treat as well. Pets safety is her first priority and im really pleased with her services offered. We are going to come back to her in future.”

“We took our 2 cavachons here for 12 days, I am honestly so happy with the care from this place. We asked for updates and they would reply and send updates and pictures along side. Our boy was overweight and we asked for suggestions and if they could try and get him to loose some weight, he lost 1kg being here and we now have a routine and he has since lost another 1kg being with us at home, we couldn't be happier with him. I could not recommend Honeybottom more! Both ladies on the reception and phones are lovely too! Which really helps. Thanks again, see you guys in June! X”

“I was recommended 3Cs by a friend who had her cat board with them. My cat Oliver had never boarded before and is an indoor cat. I was extremely worried about having him board as he knew nothing other than the home were in and the people who live here. I was made to feel as ease straight away by the staff at 3Cs they were in constant communication with me about Oliver and emailed me as much as I needed to feel better about him being there and even sent photos on him. The cattery provided all the food love and care that he would have at home. I just want to thank everyone that cared and loved Oliver while he stayed. Since being home he has been so loving, affectionate and needy which has been lovely for us! We will definitely be using them again for future holidays.”
