“With a tap selection that is on rotation its a nice surprise to find a new taste each week. The platter boards and honey sausages are lovely. They have regular evening events with karaoke, Greek and Curry nights, live music etc. The Laura and Paul are very knowledgable about any beer related questions you have and are constantly on the search for the next barrel to bring in. Also dog friendly - but they are only allowed the biscuits due to licensing laws.”

The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. “I booked a solo dining experience on the kitchen bench at the end of August. This was my first foray into fine dining and I was not disappointed. From the moment I was greeted at the door, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The taster menu and whole kitchen bench experience was just wonderful. It was more relaxed than I was expecting which suited me perfectly! The food was exceptional - I was presented with a wide range of dishes which gave me the opportunity to try things that I hadn't before and I enjoyed every moment. Whilst the food itself was wonderful, it was the restaurant and kitchen staff that really took my visit to another level. Everyone was very warm and friendly, not to mention attentive. I was looked after incredibly well, especially by John's team in the kitchen. Thank you for such a fantastic experience and I definitely plan to return.”

“Had food here. It was so good. Like really really good. I had the pizza and my partner had pie and mash. Portions were fair and the food was really good quality and fresh. No honestly it was, the pizza was amazing I really do recommend checking it out. They do vegan and gluten free options and the staff are really sweet and helpful too. The chips are so tasty. I am still thinking about them 50 minutes later. Dog friendly also.”

“Oh, La Trattoria Da Vincenzo! — I must record my impressions before the last taste fades and the memory settles too gently into nostalgia, for never have I encountered a little corner of Italy so full of life and warmth, even amidst the steady drizzle of an English evening. From the instant I crossed its modest threshold, I felt as though I had stumbled into someone’s home — not a restaurant, but a gathering of dear friends who simply happened to be excellent cooks. The light fell softly through the glass, warm and golden, casting a cheerful glow over the tables, each adorned with just enough elegance to suggest refinement, yet never the stiffness that often mars such places.”

“This was a recommendation from a friend and it was worth the hour and a half drive! The story I was told was that the chef was a Michelin star chef working in London, who was sick of the rat race and relocated to Matlock in Derbyshire. My partner and I opted for the 7 course taster menu and what a sensation that was. EVERY dish was an explosion in the mouth of complimentary flavours and textures. With the appetisers, the sour dough bread and the mous bouches , it turned out to be almost 10 courses. Just look at the photos! Unbelievable! The location is beautiful too. The outside terrace overlooks the river and the sounds of the water creates at truly romantic setting. The staff were excellent too and I’m surprised that Stones doesn’t already have a Michelin star! Out of this world and I would recommend everyone that likes food to try it! @ £80 per person, it is an absolute bargain. For food like this you would pay double that in London!”

“We visited hymn to ninkasi for the first time on Saturday evening. The greeting by the lady attending to the bar was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere was good and the place is small it’s very well set out and immaculately clean. The drinks selection is good, my partner had a nice rum from behind the bar and I chose a can from the good selection of craft beers in the glass fridges. I would recommend visiting this place.”

“We recently visited Sheffield and discovered this lovely Taiwanese restaurant, and we're so glad we did! The food here is really delicious and authentic. We tried the fried chicken bento, spicy braised beef brisket, fried tofu, and of course, a classic bubble tea - we loved everything! The food was full of flavor and you can really tell that the owners pour their heart into every dish they make. Plus, the Taiwanese vintage wallpaper inside was such a nice touch. It just reminded me of home. The owner is super friendly and was so helpful especially since we were traveling with our baby. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience at Yum Yum Bites, and we highly recommend it!”

“A hidden little gem of a place ... We've driven past this place many a times on our way to town - not thinking much of it.. it's a shame we didn't try it sooner! Food: Fantastically tasty food, which was prompt and well presented. On the first visit, there was a substitute on my tagliatelle - but this is because it's all made fresh that day and we arrived one hour before closing. Tried a few different starters/sharing plates, both were beautiful and (as much as I know) tasted authentic. Each following visit has been equally beautiful food. Service: First time, we arrived an hour before closing (cause... Yolo and we were hungry) and they were still very welcoming and accommodating. We still weren't rushed to order out food, even with the time. Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. On following visits, everyone has been beyond lovely on each visit ... Atmosphere: Decorated with little touches of Sicily - it has a nice ambience for the type of food and cuisine served. It can get a little loud, with the size of the room, but nothing to stop you visiting this beautiful little gem. Would definitely recommend and will continue to return.”

“I called Coco today to order a takeaway salad from their new deli bar Tom, Dick and Harriets. The order was easy to place and ready to takeaway as soon as I got there. I was welcomed with the most beautiful warm and friendly staff. My sons absolutely loved the olive and feta salad box and it easily fed them both. As a mum it ment alot to me that my boys could enjoy some homemade healthy and nutritious food to take home rather than your average "takeaways" . We can't wait to come back and enjoy coffee and cake at Coco and also takeaway some more delicious food from the deli. This is exactly what Mansfield needed.”
