“Stayed here for one night . Everything you need for a budget stay. Location not central however staff very helpful . Rooms were great for the price Large rooms . Extra services ie hairdryer and ironing board . No bar and lift was broken didn't cause us an issue but as we on third floor would have been a problem if you had mobility issues Overall a good size room and clean Good value for money”

“Perfect for a stop or a cheap room. Decent size, clean. A little dated but you don't expect much from a Travelodge. Only.tjing was I couldn't plug my phone next to the bed which was a little irritating but nothing I couldn't get over. Staff are friendly and easy to talk to.”

“We had a lovely stay, our heating wasn’t working but the night porter instantly fetched us a plug in heater. Our room was clean and spacious but the highlight for us was the delicious cooked breakfast which was served to us by Cristina she was absolutely delightful, so cheerful and helpful on both days, we actually looked forward to seeing her the next day. She is an asset to your hotel. She made my children feel so special and has the most infectious smile and demeanour.”

“Spent a night here. It was a very nice room. I did request a 4 poster, but they were unable to get me one, so book early to avoid disappointment. I did have an issue with the no hot water in the room and they quickly changed the room. I recommend the suite. Lots of room.”

“Excellent wonderful helpful cooperative staff. We reached around 7 in evening. We were given a family room. Room was excellent size with clean bedding. We were surprised to see the quality of toiletries which I have never seen in even the best of hotels. The only hotel I have seen in country where air conditioner floor heater and fan was provieded before arrival. The best part was the 2 young lads on reception in evening especially Luke. Both were extremely cooperative and helpful young boys. They helped us with each and everything. They never said NO to any request. I will highly recommend the hotel especially because of hospitality and wonderful attitude of young boys.”

“We stayed on 1st November to 2nd November, with our little dog Jack. We went out for a couple of hours and the evening reception staff where kind enough to look after Jack in reception. I am also vegan and they only supplied cows milk in the room. They were kind enough to give me a small jug of soya milk. The room was nice. It had an iron and ironing board, which was lovely.”

“We stayed in the Toy Cottage for two nights. Absolutely lovely accommodation, done with a great deal of taste and love. The bedroom was comfy, and the lounge and kitchen area very roomy and homely. The owner has a great eye for detail: blankets, robes, high quality products, lots of kitchen utensils. It was fantastic, and such a beautiful area. I would highly recommend it.”

“The shower facilities are amazing. Perfect temperature amd water pressure. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location gas plenty of parking spaces. A particular mention the wonderful Pamela on reception, her attitude was immensely patient especially whilst dealing with our late check-in. She went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute room change request despite having to attend to other guests queries. Her kind nature made this stay truly exceptional and worth every penny in value.”

“Stayed at prime lodge and after reading Google reviews I was a bit worried. But after arrival I found the reviews to be very unfair. The room could do with a revamp but otherwise is was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would happily return. Staff friendly and if you enter your reg at reception you don't get charged for parking. I love the motel style as it makes rooms much more private. For the price the hotel was more than worth it . Thank you.”

“The room was very spacious but the mattress was far too small for the bed. The hotel is very old and tired carpets are worn away. The receptionist was very unhelpful was more interested in her false eye lashes than anything else. Food was disgusting so don't pay for breakfast it's not worth it. You have to give a £10 deposit for T.v remote if you don't carry cash as we didn't they want your car keys or bank card as deposit which by the way is against the law. Please DO NOT STAY HERE it is aufull.”

“I stayed for just one night and was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfortable, and everything felt well looked after. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Although there were a couple of minor issues, they didn’t impact my stay at all. It was a warm night, so I had the window open and could occasionally smell smoke from people on the balcony – not a problem for me, but something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to that. Also, the power to the sockets tripped at some point overnight, but I didn’t need to use them in the morning so it wasn’t an issue for me. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay again. It definitely exceeded my expectations!”

“Nice and clean hotel. Staff are friendly. Stayed there for a night in one of the rooms, it was big. Breakfast in the morning was also good. Toilet and bathroom is small. Great location, only few minutes walking distance from the city centre. There is a big Tesco about 10 mins walking distance.”

“This hotel is an old heritage kind of property yet comes with a Great Comfort of all the luxuries that you get in a Supreme staycation in mid of the Town. Newly Renovated Rooms, Big Size Mattresses , Ensuite Bath and shower, Free Wifi and Big Tele. Rooms are in Shining Condition and equipped with all the modern amenities. Secured car parking is a big Plus. Decent Management and nice smells inside the rooms and corridors. Additionally the price is cherry on the cake. Keep it up. :-)”

“If you come here for luxury you’re coming to the wrong place. BUT: It’s a budget hotel with a bar attached next to a bus and train station. The rooms do what they say on the tin and most staff are excellent. The rooms are clean; the bar is good, the TVs work (mostly), the WiFi isn’t the best but name a hotel that has excellent WiFi. There’s good connections to travel and it’s next to the bustling town of Mansfield (you know that excellent town) It is worth noting that some of the clientele aren’t great and if you’re there for 37 days (like I was) it’s a challenge. But the staff made the stay, and the hotel is not at all that bad. In fact for the price and if your expectations are right it will exceed them all. Thank you for a good stay.”

“This place is located at 2 mins walk from train station, bus station, and the center. The ensuite room was very clean. Also the communal Kitchen. Price reasonable as well.”
