I honestly can say my family and I will always be very grateful to have such authentic restaurant at our door step. yes it has been taken over by new owner and food is somewhat a little different but it is still delicious and better than a lot of restaurants in Hong Kong. I also noticed they have replaced table cloths and chopsticks the place is a lot cleaner! Owner is friendly and evidently put a lot of effort in her work place. I am grateful for Peony and I am glad I don't have to travel an hour to have delicious dim sum! Keep up with the good work! Recent visit: the crab meat dumpling (red one in the pic) omg! Must try!”

“The Shed never disappoints. It's the best local pub around. Just when I thought you couldn't get better than their burger and perfect chips, their Xmas menu comes out. The lamb shank instantly melted in my mouth and is definitely worth the price!”

A couple of weeks ago I approached Anna over a member of staff that was covering for the store whom wasn't that great, but Anna was profffesional, understanding and a good attitude for turning a bad experience into a good one, my partner and I regularly come here even though we live in Congleton and we both love having a coffee here..highly recommended!!”

“Amazing! We visited with our young client who is a wheelchair user and requires modified food. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so comfortable and welcome. Chef willingly blended food chosen off the menu, and present it beautifully , to allow our client to enjoy a proper meal. We will definitely be visiting for tea on a regular basis. Our meals were also delicious and all of the team were so cheerful and pleasant. Honestly we can not express our gratitude enough for inclusivity, tasty beautifully presented food and an over and above attitude from everyone.”

The inside can get a little noisy especially at busy times like Friday evenings, but the outdoor yard is also lovely and they have heaters. Can definitely recommend sitting outside if you prefer it a little quieter.”

“Absolutely fab place. Booked it for a Sunday afternoon baby shower. Wow, the food was lush & plentiful. We were all stuffed & there was such a good selection of both savouries & cakes. We had chicken croquettes, the most amazing mozzarella sticks, hot & cold sandwiches. They catered so well for one of the group who was vegan. Cocktails were lovely too! Great service & ambience. I look forward to returning & would definitely recommend!”

“We stayed here overnight on the way to a funeral in Cumbria, so we were not in the best spirits. We had a lovely meal, the food was beautiful cooked. It is a pub, but the food was better than some restaurants I have been to. All nicely presented and everything nice and clean. The public toilets were also really clean which gives me reassurance about the other areas. I have seen some negative reviews of the staff, but we found them to be very attentive and when there was no customer interaction they set to work cleaning, which was lovely to see. They run a quiz on Thursdays which we would happily go to. We stayed over for one night, everything was perfect, but I will look to review this separately.”

Obviously cooked to order, fresh, nicely spicy and totally flavoursome. I understand it’s under new ownership, so good luck to the new patron! On this experience he won’t need luck.”
