βmet friends there when we got off train, nice friendly staffβ
βEnter stay. First time visiting for an afternoon tea. Was very impressed with the interior and the Christmas decorations. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table in the window. The afternoon tea didnβt disappoint. There was a good variety of sandwiches and the fillings were very generous. The scones were delicious, the only niggle was that there was only a small pot of jam between people. The cakes were lovely and the chocolate pot so rich. Will certainly come again.β
βStayed at Premier Inn (Leek) for a local wedding and was really impressed. The hotel is modern and accessible, with a convenient car park on site. Check-in was swift and easy, and our room was lovely. We opted for the Ultimate Room, which came with air conditioning and free WiFi. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. We stayed midweek, so the restaurant was fairly quiet in the evening, simple dishes to choose from. Breakfast offered plenty of choice. Overall, excellent value for money and a very comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend. The only thing for improvement would be having a smart TV to be able to stream or offer netflix, YouTube services.β
βLocated about 15 minutes walk from the town centre this is a modern premier Inn with Aircon and plenty of parking (payable) as there is extra parking underneath and behind it. Friendly helpful staff, well run restaurant for breakfast and evening meal if wanted, but also lots of restaurants within walking or short drive distance. Buxton is well located for visitors to the Peak district.β
βPerfect stop on our cycle trip. They were great with storing our bikes and the room was perfect and cosy. The breakfast was also just what we needed and more than enough to eat. Would stay again in the future.β
βMy cat settled in and was very vocal. Great lady ownerβ
βNo complaints at all. The room was as it should be along with the kind hospitality and good beers. The breakfast was also of good quality.β
βWe visited after spending the afternoon with the grandchildren at the Pantomine. The meal was from the lunch menu as we were too early for the evening menue. However there was loads to choose from and portions were very big. Presentation was lovely and the service by the waitress GABBIE was five star!! Very polite and attentive. We will definitely be visiting again.β
βA very welcoming, dog friendly Hotel. Helpful reception and friendly service. We stayed bed and breakfast, over the Christmas period. A most pleasant room with a comfortable bed. A great breakfast. Thank you.β
βVisited for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. The menu is diverse and the food is excellent. Service was mixed - one of the waitresses was good but the other wasnβt great (ignored us at the bar etc). But overall a good experience and weβd definitely return!β
βJust spent a night at the 'Spitfire' Premier Inn, Stafford. Stay was to the standard advertised & expected, although no capacity for hot breakfast due to a restaurant refurb BUT crossed the road & used 'Hurricane' Premier Inn & breakfasted there! I'd mention Sharon on reception at Spitfire who was genuinely welcoming when we first arrived & couldn't do enough to help us (to locate earlier arrived friends, direct us to a wedding venue & advise re local taxi's etc. Such a lovely lady).β
βBeautiful hotel set in some of the most amazing of scenery. Room was cosy and everything we could need. The staff are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exceptional. Even the local were welcoming and offered their wealth of experience and knowledge of the local area and history. The meals are priced well and prepared to an exceptional standard. They were plentiful and tasted wonderful.β
βOur dogs have been going there a few years now and always look really well when we collect them. They only smell of the kennels because the kennels get cleaned regularly. They always seem happy in pics. Our dobe has issues and is always fine. They both just walk in with the staff. We nearly lost out big lad last year but it was the staff here that noticed he had bloat and rushed him to the emergency vets where they saved him. Can never thank them enough highly recommendβ
βVery clean and tidy. Bridget on reception was incredibly kind, patient and helpful when we realised we had booked the wrong date to stay at the hotel. Excellent service!β
βGood value and close proximity for a trip to Alton Towers. Restaurant has just been renovated and was very nice. Rooms were clean and of a good standard. Surprisingly quiet considering how close you were to services. Restaurant Staff were excellent. Very attentive and friendly.β
βStayed as attending daughters graduation lovely place great welcome and very friendly helpful staff attentive to all customers and great atmosphere. The food had a great choice and value for money. The room we stayed in was large and comfortable and breakfast made to order and served to your table would highly recommendβ

βOn arrival we were greeted by Sarah, very approachable and accommodating. She explained clearly where we would find out room and even nipped to the Beefeater attached for a couple of fizz flutes as we had brought with us a couple bottles of fizz for the room. Thank you..β
βStayed here for a week for a business trip. The rooms were excellent as were the staff. On the last night we experienced a power cut which was out of the hotels control. They moved us to a different hotel which was made very easy by the hotel manager. The staff were brilliant and handled the whole situation. It would have been understandable with so many people to deal with if someone lost their rag. But everyone remained calm. Fantastic staff. Would very highly recommendβ
βHad 2 family rooms for Lapland UK , perfect location, clean hotel, friendly staff and delicious food.β
βOk so this place surpassed my expectations. I got married here 30 years ago and my city has suffered since. The hotel has changed hands a few times since and I wasnβt expecting much but it really was great. Itβs a big hotel. The rooms are huge. Itβs been very well redecorated throughout. 2 small complaints 1. Lift is a bit tatty. 2. Ground floor lobby is like the land that ti forgot. Otherwise itβs a yes from meβ
βAnother town another premier inn , this time the room ( prem + ) was massive well furnished comfortable and super clean , Leanne greeted to me and was a great example of how staff are the hotel and greeted me with a warm smile and explained everything i needed to know even went and got me some Hot Chocolate which you donβt actually get in the rooms ! Again loaned me an Apple Watch charger as Iβd forgotten mine as I need it as I have an app to check blood sugar ! Perfect hotel and if Leanne is anything to go by the staff will all be wonderful tooβ
βHad a lovely weekend stay here with my partner. We had our own private patio and garden which was really romantic. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were well maintained. I'd definitely go back. Highly recommended.β
βStopped off on my own on route further north. I had emailed in advance to say I would be arriving late and could I have a room in the quiet part. They responded quickly advising they are there 24/7 and they had reserved me a room. It was easy to find, plenty of parking. The lady who was working (last night 19th)was so friendly, a credit to your company and made me feel at ease. Room was clean and spacious. I paid for the breakfast and all of the staff were very friendly, food was yummy and good value. All interactions I had with all of the staff were positive, I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you againβ
βMy daughter and I spent a wonderful day here at the Buxton Crescent spa for my birthday. It was a great experience. The staff were brilliant and made us feel very welcome. The pools and saunas were lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The lunch we had was delicious. We both had the Indian head massage treatments. Very relaxing and very chilled afterwards. Would definitely do this again.β
βI had a corner room with 2 windows, the room itself was quite spacious and decorated very tastefully. The toilet/shower lacked decent ventilation and so had a heavy kind of smell before they were used. The traffic is also rather loud from the room as quite a few loud bike/ cars went past throughout the night. The breakfast service was good but could have been improved.β
βA little gem. Rooms are basic but comfortable, the staff are super friendly, and the breakfast was superb. Would definitely return.β
βCame for a 'posh' fish and chips with my sister on Saturday afternoon. It was a Virgin gift voucher from my friends. We were seated straight away and all the staff were really lovely. Modern decor. The fish and chips were delicious and we also enjoyed the fizz that came with it. Great first impression of the place and we will certainly call in again. Thank you for a lovely time.β
βThis was a great Holiday Inn to stay in to break up a journey from the north to tge south. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff on reception and the food area were extremely helpful. I was struggling to open a packet of cereal, a member of staff noticed, went to the kitchen to get scissors and swiftly returned to open the packet for me. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn, it is very good value.β
βBeautiful hotel, lovely and clean. Me my partner and our children stayed and it was so cozy. The staff are always polite and help with whatever you need. There are multiple shops within 5 minute walks from here and there are also multiple parks within 10-15 minute walks away.β
