“Had a fantastic day at this Spa. My wife and I were both booked in for a spa day with treatments. The ladies who dealt with us were Amazing!!! I had Demi and she was absolutely outstanding, very friendly, listened to my needs and was caring throughout my treatment!! I would recommend having treatments with her again to anybody!! The rest of the facilities were good and keep clean throughout our visit by the friend cleaning team!!! Highly recommended!!!”
“Brilliant little pool for kids of all ages, could do with a deep clean in the changing room and small pools. There was only two family changing rooms and one disabled so we found this a little difficult as a family of five with children with extra needs. The soft play could really do with a good clean but was fab for the kids whilst we queued.”
“Good for lane swimming in the evening. They have three sets of lanes fast, medium and slow. The slow lane is the widest and next to the steps.”
“Nice little pool the pool is very clean and staff are very friendly.my child loves doing his swimming lessons here we travel from Stafford to stone as my son enjoys going. He had lessons at other pools but didn't like swimming teachers as they shout at him. But here they explain things to him he always comes out with smile..he doing so well in his lessons I Would recommend 100%”
“clean and well-maintained, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating. I highly recommend it to everyone and i have made some really good friends here and love meeting them here every week and we enjoy the classes together :) xxxxxxx”
“A non-pretentious hotel in the middle of the city near the main road above Lidl supermarket. Very modern things are new and clean elevators function well. Last staircase nothing to complain evening meal were in expensive and large portion size. I thought the Punjabi chicken and rice and Na that was very nice and spicy my husband two English beef in a pie, which was very nice as well. All in all, we were happy with our day although the weather was not ideal.”
“Really clean pool and changing rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a great place to swim.”
“Excellent group very friendly atmosphere and great volunteers”
“Lovely place for bird watching, a Snipe seen here 2 days ago, and regularly we see a range of ducks, geese, moorhen, and occasionally heron.”
“Palm Brook runs from hammersley Hayes in Cheadle and joins cecilly Brook behind the old silk mill. Along it's banks water voles (Ratty from The Wind in The Willows) can be seen, also Kingfishers, Bats, Herons and Buzzards are often here. Wellies may be required in wet weather. The JCB factory has now gone and a new housing development in its place. The nature reserve has not been spoilt by this.”
“Visited the lido - absolutely lovely”
“I do Aquafit in the pool here and the instructor is brilliant! Pool is easy access for me and absolutely essential as I have some mobility problems. Sessions are lots of fun!”
“Perfect little field for our reactive dog. Yes it's muddy - guess what, it's a field and the middle of the winter and it's been raining. A couple of holes but you get them when out and about in the woods. There was water and a couple of agility frames. Will definitely come again when we are in the area”
“Good for walking dogs, there’s a large grassed area with benches around it ideal for picnics or kicking a ball about and on the far side there’s a kiddies play park with a slide swings & climbing frames.”
“Amazing facilities, great price per month for a gym/facility considering what's available. There is also a cafe at the entrance so people/parents have somewhere to wait if watching swimming. The classes and instructors there are also super friendly and very fun to workout with. Very happy I joined!”
“After a recent visit this week I have to comment on the general cleanliness of the floor and surrounding area in the swimming changing area. We'll done.”
“Gym and Swim available here. Staff are always kind and welcoming. Changing rooms are cleaned regularly and it even smells clean when you walk in too. Gym has a good variety of equipment from Cardio machines to free weights and a Smith Machine too. Copious amounts of parking available and the vending machines aren't overpriced either. Monthly prices for the gym and swim are reasonable, giving you access at any time to the Gym and selected times for the pool.”
“Lovely staff, lovely rooms, not super modern, but have everything. Stairs are a bit dated, but it totally suits the building, superbly clean. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. Ample car free parking. If you're a train enthusiast, this is a must! It's opposite the train station. We visited Stoke on Trent and Nantwich, and both 20 minutes drive away. There were many more places about it, but we only stayed 2 days. Near Tesco express, macdonalds and loads of food delivery places.”
“Really grateful to have town centre access to a good value fitness centre. Have been coming for 15 years and my children have grown up with the facilities, something for the whole family to benefit from at every age. I’m a member and use the classes and gym facilities too, for a fraction of the price of alternatives in town.”
