“It’s the hotel restaurant, beautifully designed. The beer and Italian wine were nice. The food was good quality, I didn’t like the onion rings that much, but the rest was very nice. The service was good and the staff were nice and polite. I recommend this restaurant. It also has a very beautiful balcony, a nice place you can drink and look at the bay.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Last Saturday, our whole team from the Albany Road Post Office went to Juno Lounge on Wellfield Road for a team dinner. We had an amazing time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food and drinks were excellent, and the service was outstanding. The entire team at Juno Lounge made us feel so well looked after, especially Zoe, who was so friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the evening. A big thank you to everyone working on the bar and the floor staff for making our night special. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great service and a relaxed vibe.”

“A great place to experience homemade, traditional African food. We had chicken wings, jollof rice with fried beef and the X Large grilled fish. All were fantastic but the fish was definitely the highlight.”

“Excellent service! We haven’t been here in ages so we didn’t to expect. With the advice from Ilyas, we picked the mixed grill for 2. Very flavoursome and delicious. Not to mention the refreshing mint tea and Sabah helped us pick the best fresh cakes. Ilyas and Sabah also gave us fresh cream cakes on the house! Thank you very much, Ilyas and Sabah for a memorable experience.”

“Excellent burger, cooked to perfection. Thought the build your own burger format worked really well, didn't spend ages looking at a menu just got straight on with it. Cocktails were decent for a very reasonable price! Recommend to anyone looking for a good burger!”

“Food was absolutely amazing, everything was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The steak could be pulled apart with no effort. The desert was also full of flavour. The only downside to all of it was the portion size, I would have loved to have more. The service was quick and the waiters were polite and helpful. I’d definitely go again. The menu was quite small but I think the quality of the food makes up for it. We had 2 soft drinks (pints), 2 mains and a dessert and it came to £60.”

“Classic hotel. So much more interesting and comfortable than a premier Inn or an ibis and it was cheaper! The staff were friendly and helpful the room had high ceilings and felt classic with some art deco features.”

“Had a lovely meal here recently. Food was incredible and the wait staff couldn't do enough for us! You know when you have an Indian and the meat is really dry in the curry? This wasn't the case at all here. Also really helpful and knowledgeable with allergens”

“We didn’t eat in the restaurant however we stayed in one of the pods and they were gorgeous! such lovely little rooms with everything you need, a massive double bed, a nice shower and a smart TV. It was worth every penny and we will be back again!”

“Food was lovely. Got the set menu that comes with a dessert so was cheaper overall than buying a dessert separately as desserts were expensive on their own. Pork medallions were lovely, decent portion and the potatoes were cheesy and lovely too. Dessert (chocolate mousse) was absolutely delicious, highly recommend this. It's a safe place to go if you have a peanut allergy, the mousse specifically is peanut allergen-safe. Lovely view of the beach as they sat us next to the window. Would come again.”

“WOW, SIMPLY AMAZING !!! It was my 1st time visiting this place. After visiting so many local kebab houses in this part of Cardiff, i have been let down by tiny portions for expensive prices. Then I came across this place, it's one of Cardiffs hidden gems, big portions, with good quality marinaded doner meat and chicken kebab. They also do some of the nicest chippy chips I've tried in years. This place is so good. I'm going to give it a 9.5 out of 10, it smashes all of the local rivals like Yummies and King Kebab out of the park. The staff were also super friendly, and i will be recommending this place to all my friends and family across the west of Cardiff. If you want amazing value for money with great friendly staff and food that tastes out of this world good, then look no further”

“First time ordering through the Frangos app. Delivery came but was missing an item. Called up and our order was rectified immediately. Food arrived hot and was delicious. Was cheaper and faster than going through other delivery apps too. Will 100% order again. Delivery drivers and call handler were very polite and professional. 5 star service. Thank you so much. Only negative was that I can’t seem to add my feedback through the app. Must be an error. So I’m leaving my review here. Again thank you for your excellent service.”

“TGIs is hands down the best bottomless brunch in newport! I absolutely LOVE their June Buy and purple rain. I'm a wheelchair user, and they always accommodate me and take us to a table where I can just wheel up and stay in my chair. The customer's service is also really good, and Isabelle Amelia is so polite to bless her. Happy staff is a credit to the place and the management x”

“Not my usual choice but not fussy either so decided to give it a go last minute. Service was outstanding. In particular (didn’t get his name) but the duty manager, tall guy with glasses. His good morning made us feel welcome immediately, he was attentive and really friendly. Service makes the experience for me, food was cheap and cheerful, nothing to write home about but hit the spot for the price. Will definitely consider going again, because of the service.”

“Great friendly local(ish) pub. Our son lives in Barry and we often visit and meet at this pub, often with our other son and granddaughters. Food lovely, good selection of drinks, what more could you want??? Plus A decent vegetarian selection for my daughter in law!”
