“Had great food and drink at Bill's. The atmosphere is always nice, the food always spot on and fills a spot and the staff are always amazing. The staff member serving us today was Andres. They were very nice, looked like they enjoyed their job, always smiling and dressed presentable.”

“Magnificent. I would and definitely will return. We had the calamari to start, which was absolutely incredible, perfectly cooked and a seasoning that is strangely familiar but so unique and delicious. Followed by two fillet steaks with the béarnaise sauce and the garlic mushroom sauce, steaks were perfectly cooked and tender and the sauces were divine. For desert we shared a baileys cheesecake which was lovely and flavorful without being too sweet. All washed down with a lovely bottle of 2016 Bordeaux. So, the hook of the restaurant is to go to the counter to order. Though my partner and I were tentative about this as we usually like to take our time and peruse the menu, this was in fact a delight. The chef behind the counter was not pushy and did not rush us whilst we were trying to decide. Instead, asked if we had any questions. We deliberated between ourselves and had many recommendations from the chef. The service staff were also very attentive and friendly. Top marks here. My only BUT, there always is, and I do feel a little harsh including it was the noise level. We obviously booked a table prime Christmas party season. The parties who attended were incredibly loud. Shouting over each other, obnoxiously drunk, and gathering around each others tables. Though I fully understand and appreciate that this is not the fault of the restaurant at all, it did detract from the ambience. Which we were lucky enough to experience once the large parties had vacated. We will most certainly return”

“I was one of many celebrating n 18th birthday recently with a Sunday lunch at the Cardiff Bay branch. I have to say the service, especially from Diane, Mathew and Nico (manager) was excellent! Both quick and efficient. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and the quality food was excellent as usual and the prices provided very good value for money. Highly recommended.”

“Lovely spot at the end of the Grand Pier. A wonderful cream tea experience followed by a Mimosa which wasn’t on the menu but the team made a plan and so appreciated. Great way to spend the early afternoon. If you make a reservation simply show it at the entrance to the Grand Pier and you will be able to enter at no cost!”

“My first ever visit to a TGI Friday and I was rather impressed. The staff were friendly and management came out to assist with a specific dietary concern with my guest. The food was hot and beautiful, we even met Darth Vader in the reception entrance to the restaurant. The dips are fantastic, the burger very juicy and super tasty. A definite 10/10 and look forward to returning. By the time we left the restaurant it was buzzing with nearly all tables full. A very popular restaurant in Cardiff. “We visited the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill several times during our stay in Cardiff, as it was part of the Indigo Hotel. We had breakfast and lunch there while staying at the hotel. The restaurant is centrally located in Cardiff, but it can be a little difficult to spot because it is located on the 6th floor of the Indigo Cardiff. Upon entering, you are greeted by a very stylish and modern restaurant with a lovely grand piano and plenty of seating for drinks before or after your meal. Breakfast was a very pleasant experience. There was a range of options on the continental buffet, and you also get a choice from their breakfast menu. I had "The Favourite," which is smoked salmon, eggs, and avocado on sourdough. It was divine. The continental buffet had everything you would want, including fruits, cereals, pastries, a variety of breads, and more. We then stopped for Sunday lunch, which I have to say was absolutely fantastic. I started with French onion soup, which was sensational. Then, my husband and I both had the Sunday roast. There was so much of it that I couldn't quite believe it when it was delivered to the table. There was so much meat, and the beef was amazingly tender. There was pretty much every side you could want, including Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast potatoes, and a huge array of vegetables, including amazing cauliflower cheese. The service was also fantastic from start to finish. The whole team was highly professional and approachable. I personally cannot fault anything that we had, and every aspect was top quality. I would certainly recommend a visit if you're looking for a fantastic Sunday roast—but make sure you come hungry!”

The choices looks so delicious and the welcome was so welcome - we decided to leave it all up to the incredible chef! He did not disappoint!! “We had Turkish breakfast yesterday and it was really lovely and tasty breakfast. The staff are welcoming warm and friendly and the food is very authentic and so delicious. We had Serpme breakfast, including Omelet, Halloumi, fried eggs, Black and green olive, mozzarella sticks, cheese, sucuk, Beand, feta, Tahina&Molasses, Rosa jam, Honey, chips and salad. “Modest café situated right on Barry Island seafront. I wasn't expecting much in the way of either quality or value. However I was very pleasantly surprised when my lunch arrived, to receive a generous slice of steak and ale pie which was absolutely packed with filling, a decent pile of nicely-cooked chips and peas, all served piping hot on a hot plate, just as it should be! It was also very nice that the gravy came separately in a jug with a lid, to keep the contents hot... brilliant! The staff were clearly working hard during lunch service and yet still managed a smile and to exchange pleasantries. I'll definitely be back, next time I'm in town. The food takes a bit to be made, but you can tell that it's made with real care and effort. So the wait felt worth it, and the relaxing atmosphere made it all the better for that waiting time.”
