βHad a wonderful 3 night stay at the Maid Guest Rooms & what a little gem it is. Our room (King Suite 5) was immaculate & comfortable. The room was well equipped with Freeview TV, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron/ ironing board & fan. There was also a fully stocked mini bar (chargeable) The most impressive thing from arrival to departure was the first class service we received from all the staff who were helpful, polite, cheerful & would always have a chat. We had breakfast & high tea in the Original Maids of Honour tearoom both were delicious & plentiful, receiving a 20% discount as a guest.. On street parking is available & we were lucky enough to get a space directly outside the property. The parking permit is Β£5 per day which is available on arrival The rooms are ideally situated for a visit to Kew Gardens & into central London on the tube. For the best room rates would recommend you book direct & not through a booking site.β
βLost my wallet outside the shop with money and a few important documents. Owner of this shop found it and returned on my next visit. Nothing was missing. Top man !β
βCarole is a One Stop Shop Top Notch Groomer. Itβs a passion and not just a profession which shows through with the care and time she takes to groom your pooch. She soon calmed my nervous senior JR and gained her trust rather quickly. It was more than a pleasure to be able to stay and watch the magic happen. Reasonably priced, gentle friendly banter and welcomed advice thrown in for free. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.β
βHave to book quite a while in advance but my pup always comes out looking and smelling amazing! The groomer listened to all of my concerns when it comes to my dogs behaviour as he can be a bit nippy with his paws being touched! All I can say is that he came out as happy as ever and not scared as he has come out of some other groomers! Thank youβ
βvery good shop with lots of options for Christmas secret Santa gifts.β
βI've just checked out this morning and have to say the overall experience I had during my one night stay was very good. Much better than I had expected having read the recent reviews. Even taking into consideration the budget price, the room was a good size, clean, the bed was comfortable. The dinner and breakfast, though not as good as Premier Inn's, were adequate for the price and the staff on reception and in the dining area were polite and attentive. Not much to improve on in all honesty. Thank you.β
βJohn at Paydens in Putney is a wonderful pharmacist. Very knowledgable and incredibly helpful, really going the extra mile to help his patients. Very highly recommended!β
βItβs a decent hotel if youβre in the area . Parking 8Β£ get there early , I drive a pick up and parking was sufficient! Chap at the front desk is brilliant and helpful . Location is brilliant for the area , card machine wasnβt working at the restaurant but we sorted that and they were very helpful. Didnβt eat any food but the beer was decent ! Room was fine for the price , it was clean and bedding is good ! Fire alarm went off for some reason but could just be a faultβ
βStayed here with trepidation given the mixed reviews but can honestly say I enjoyed my stay. For a very low price you get a decent sized room (much bigger than many Iβve stayed in in central London), a hot shower and clean facilities, comfortable beds, 24/7 front desk, bar and restaurant on site, convenient location for nearby sites (Hampton Court Palace, Richmond Park, Ham House, Wimbledon), helpful and friendly staff and the option to pay a small fee for car parking, a good breakfast or early check-in/late check-out. We even had a nice view overlooking the church next door. Yes, the room was warm but NOT unbearably so. Criticisms about lack of aircon arenβt exactly fair. It isnβt common to find aircon in London hotel rooms and you get what YOU pay for!β
βVery lovely people and helpful staff inside. Got my flu jab today, seamless and painless process. Staff at the counter were very helpful with other questions I had about an unrelated issue. I go here regularly and will be returning.β
βWhen I arrived outside I was thinking the worst. But my room was excellent. Man at reception was a jolly character and good laugh. He let me leave my bags as I was too early to check in. Will stay here againβ
βStayed 24.11.24 After reading the reviews was really dubious about staying here, but only paying Β£31 for a night we checked in quite late after spending rhe day in London. On arrival we could smell fresh paint and the reception area was smart and clean. Very friendly chap at check in. We went up to our room (218) and was pleasantly surprised. New TV, freshly decorated. Smart clean and presentable. Our room was at the front and for a Sunday night was quiet and we slept soundly with the window open. Would definitely stay here again.β
βIncredible people, I wasn't given clear introductions on an A&E visit, likely due to miscommunication, and these people absolutely took care of me and taught me how to care for my wound. Very well trained professionals with good stock of basic and advanced medical supplies. I've gotten my flu shots here for the last 3 years also and they've been nothing but professional about the process and have answered all of my questions.β
βI had a very comfortable and most pleasant stay at Kew Rooms for 4 night in May 2018. My room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels were very clean. The host Geoff and his wife were very helpful and made me very welcomed. Breakfast was simple but very adequate. Chance to meet people from other countries who were staying there. Location is fantastic - 7 minute walk to Kew Gardens tube and 10 minutes to Kew Gardens Park. Fully recommend Kew Rooms if you happen to be in that part of London. My rating: 4.5*/5* or 9/10β
βDon't know why people rate ot low, it's a small Tesco and it stays open till 11pm when everything else is closed, what more do you want?β
βGood selection of products. They are open most days except Christmas day and maybe new years day. Loads of deals and they also are an Evri parcel partner. Staff are always busy and store is clean. There is a cas machine outside.β
