“Spent a superb long weekend here, the cottages were cosy, clean and very well stocked in games and puzzles with full amenities for home cooked meals. Beautiful location with easy access for great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend!!”

“AMAZING!! I booked The old Parlour and Cow Shed to come with some of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. The barns are beautiful and they have thought of all the tiny details. The bath house toiletries in particular smell incredible! They provided milk, tea and coffee to get us started as well as bath robes. We chose to add a booking on with Georgie and Co who came to the barns to provide us all with treatments.It was the best massage I’ve had in quite some time! I would highly recommend booking if you want to add some relaxation to your stay. I can’t wait to visit again! x”

“Amazing little guest house. Room was very clean complimentary shower gel and shampoo was a nice little suprise. Room was very well equipped with hair dryer ironing board and good wifi connection. Perfect location for exploring ilam park and Thorpe Cloud and the Roaches. Also near Haddon Hall Chatsworth House and Bakewell just a short 30 min drive away. Hosts were lovely and breakfast was amazing. I am a celiac and they were more than happy to cater for me. Leek itself is a lovely little market town with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs and nice independent shops which was very refreshing. Would definately recommend and would stay again.”

“Me and my puppy completed the puppy school course with Steve. The course was very enjoyable, structured lessons delivered in a way that was easy to understand. My pup is also booked in for home boarding for a couple of weeks in August and had her assessment day last week. She had a great time and was exhausted afterwards. Steve and Maria are lovely and it is very clear they have a passion for what they do.”

“My dog stayed for a week at Chetwynd Firs, I feel he has received amazing care, I noticed his treats had been given to him and he seems in good health which indicates to me he's been treated well. The photos and updates are very reassuring, this is only if you pay for play sessions but you can call for updates. The staff were ever so kind, I trusted them and I feel they met my expectations. “Went in with a fledgling pigeon and the lady at the desk was very welcoming and friendly. Other members of staff we spoke with were again very friendly. They took the pigeon with no hesitation and left us a number so we could check on its progress. Great place with great people.”

“We stayed at the Lamb Guest Inn as part of a wedding party. It was my husband, one year old daughter, and I. The hosts were more than genuine and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure we not only had everything us adults needed, but our daughter as well. They provided a pack n’ play for her to sleep in, a high chair at breakfast, and even provided special lacto free milk for her. Everything was clean and immaculate. The breakfast was homemade to order. Some of the best food we had during our whole stay in London. The location is an easy, safe walk to all the downtown bars, restaurants, supermarket, etc. It honestly felt like we were at my grandparents house the way they took care of us. I would definitely highly recommend and look forward to hopefully staying here again.”

“Joy and her amazing team at Padpaws make it easy for us to enjoy time away from home knowing that our fur babies are well looked after! We have two house cats who enjoy twice daily visits whilst we are away, including cuddles and brushes, as well as ensuring they are fed and clean. We also have a very energetic Vizsla who goes on her own little staycation for boarding and comes home very happy after a fun few days! Our dog also goes for weekly days out and enjoys the company of other furry friends, attending on a daycare basis, even being picked up and brought home again like a true VIP. Joy is both reliable and flexible and an excellent communicator! We would highly recommend Padpaws to anyone who needs to know that their fur babies are in safe hands and well looked after.”

“A lovely place to stay so quiet. The fresh milk and rockie road was a lovely touch. Not far from Chester, the zoo . We stayed in the corn store cottage. The family was extremely friendly. It was just my daughter and myself and we would happily go again”

“I have been taking my cocker spaniel here since March 2023 after a really bad experience with another groomer, which made my dog very nervous. To give some context my dog was just over 1 year old at the point of his first visit. They built him up slowly, allowing me to visit several times, then with trims and baths right up to a full groom, which he has had 2 of now. The girls here are brilliant, they are clearly dog people and they listened to me when I first went there. My dog loved his visit today. They are very knowledgeable and professional...I'd recommend them to anybody.”

We had already booked a different cattery for our 2 cats, Holly and Larry, 10 days before we were due to go on holiday, Holly fractured her pelvis and we needed to find another cattery who could accommodate her needs and this place did that. Andrea was wonderful, and we felt fully confident leaving both our cats. Holly needed cage rest and medication throughout the day. We were in constant communication for updates, Andrea and family was responsive and we felt nothing was too much trouble. Pictures were sent to us and both cats were relaxed. “We stayed here on a fully serviced pitch in our own tourer. Such beautiful site in lovely surroundings, so well kept and with luxury shower, toilet and washing facilities. The little shop has a few essentials to keep you going. It also has firepits to hire so you can spend a cozy evening around the fire. The owners are so helpful, kind and friendly. Its a short walk to Hulme end where you will find a lovely country pub (The Manifold) which serves lovely food and drinks. This was our 2nd stay and we will definitely be back again.”

“I’ve just had a catio enclosure (2.8m x 2.4m x 2.4m) installed by ProtectaPet, and I couldn’t be happier. The quality is excellent, our four indoor cats love it, and we can finally open the patio doors to let in fresh air while the cats come and go as they please. The ProtectaPet team were outstanding throughout. Anna and Aaron handled my initial queries, design, and quote with care, while Tom and Max carried out the installation. Installation day was completely hassle-free, they worked efficiently, were polite and professional, and left everything tidy.
