“What a find this cafe/grooming salon is. I needed my dogs nails clipping, and when I googled if there was anywhere local I could have this done apart from the vets, it stated Charlie and co did a walk in service. We arrived no issue, the young lady in the salon was brilliant with our dog who is a rescue, so we were unsure if he would be nervous, he rushed into the grooming area no problem, we went and had a coffee and before we knew it he was done! Fabulous service we will be back. The girls are a great team. Oh and lots of doggy friends for your pouch to meet downstairs in the cafe.”

“Lovely welcome. Spent 2 nights there as a gift. Lovely friendly staff. Beautiful rooms. Fabulous food ...probably some of the best we have had, both set lunch and breakfasts. The lovely Hodnet Hall just across the road...do not pass that by and the beautiful village church. Would def return to the Bear Inn and recommend to others and I can't say that about many places for food tbh or accommodation in the Midlands. Alison and Sandra particularly lovely at breakfasts and hats off to all the team members behind the scenes... excellent!”

“Freddie is my cat and is almost 20 years old. He has a thyroid problem and has 6 monthly bloods taken to check his thyroid and kidney levels. On Wednesday I took him to the vets to have his usual bloods. When vet Helen weighed him she found he had lost weight and as it was a repeat of his last tests she voiced her concerns and suggested he needed a full blood count doing and, by an outside agency, just to check there was nothing else going on. Helen was reassuring and promised to ring me as soon as the results were received. After having his blood taken and claws trimmed, Helen brought Freddie back to me and the nurse said he'd been a perfect gentleman. Helen again reassured me that this was the best next step and, if his meds needed changing or something else needed prescribing then that could be all sorted on Friday. I like how all the vets and nurses care about the patients under their care.”

A quick phone call to check they stocked what I was looking for this morning and a visit this afternoon to purchase them. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly assistant dealt with our enquiry. The items we required were very reasonably priced too. A vast array of stock mainly for horses but quite a bit of dog equipment too including harnesses, collars etc. Highly recommended”

It was our first time leaving our dog at a kennel and we were provided with plenty of updates and photos of her having a great time in the play area and on her daily walks, which really put her mind at ease. Cannot recommend them enough. We wouldn't use any other kennel in the future!”
