“We have visited and stayed at Westfield Court Hotel several times, for parties or, most recently, a wedding. We have always found it to be a pleasant place to stay and good value for money. Nice area, lots of parking, nearby shops and pubs for evening meals if required. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, the breakfast was lovely and the price very reasonable. The service and catering provided at the wedding were excellent, good quality food and plenty for everyone. The place looked great done up for a celebration. Bar prices not over the top, good DJ recommended by the hotel which helped fill the dance floor! I would definitely recommend this place for a stay or an event.”

“Excellent food in the venue. Nice pub too - clean and friendly / respectable atmosphere. Will come again, especially for the food! Good selection of beers. Very impressive history with pictures of car racing in black and white outside the pub!”

“Me my mum dad and fiancée came here for lunch. The food was perfect very tasty and good portions for the price all fresh and hot too. Wonderful service as well by the lovely lady called izzy was very polite and helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we where happy with our food and had everything we needed.”

“Might be a bit biased as they saved me and my friends just before midnight from not having any where to sleep for the night. The room was just what we needed comfortable beds, clean and well presented. I couldn't ask any more from the staff who helped us quickly and without delays. Location is a perfect close to a 15 min drive to the centre of Birmingham, and the on-site parking really helped.”

She was professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout my visit. Her positive attitude and willingness to help made a real difference to my stay. “We are a big family and didn’t want to have room cars apart so they ensured we had interconnecting rooms, upon arriving at the hotel the receptionist jack was lovely he made conversation straight away and made us feel so welcome, he went above and beyond with things we needed help with such as the cot he never made it feel like any thing was a problem! The rooms were very clean and big. And our children were happy they could see the animals from the window. Staff and other guests were lovely at the bar too. You will be seeing us again very soon”

“This was my first visit but won’t be my last! The food was so fresh and delicious - way too much for me to eat but you can take it home!! The staff as always were lovely as I have stayed at the hotel and look forward to having dinner here again Sahithye was our server and made the meal even more fun with fantastic attention and always a smile. “Cuttle Bridge Inn is a lovely place to stay—clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. Rooms are well-kept and offer great value. The peaceful canal-side setting makes it even better. Breakfast is tasty with plenty of choice. A great stay overall—would happily return.”

“Back over from France for a few days. Popped in with my dad on Wednesday for lunch. Had a decent curry and a couple of pints of old peculiar. At £2.27 a pop it was incredibly good value, especially nowadays. Really good pint to boot. The old place never changes which is great. Will be back next I'm over for sure!”

“We paid for wifi it kept dropping out and sometimew no signal at all, shower the extractor fan did not work so steam went into the room made it hot. Service at reception was very friendly and the cleaners.”

“I first went to this hotel to use its leisure facilities, as I'm due to invest in a membership. I was greeted by Chris, who was so helpful, as were all of the other members. This place is a little oasis of lovely people, decent facilities, and a really welcoming feeling. The gym is well equipped, clean and well maintained, the pool is a perfect temperature, as are the steam and sauna. The staff, Chris, Gareth and Lisa, are a credit to this establishment. Then on the 5.10.2025, I decided to book a room for my Sons Birthday sleepover, on arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Kadrija, at reception, this wonderful lady, made the whole check in process, so straightforward. This was my first time using this hotel for an overnight stay. When I informed Kadrija, that it was my Sons Birthday, this lady went above and beyond to assist and ensure we had a fantastic stay. I booked my Son and his guests, a three course evening meal, the selection as well as the quality of food and ingredients, were impressive. The hotel suite was clean, spacious and it really did exceed our expectations, the bed, wow, I mean, it was like sleeping in the clouds. At breakfast, the server Ellesse, was soo attentive. I would highly recommend this beautiful establishment, the staff, really were what made our stay soo pleasurable.”

However throughout the whole process of booking and changes and now cancelation the owners kept in contact and were very understanding of my situation. “We had our Christmas party here and it was without a doubt the best that we have experienced. The food was exceptional and plentiful. There was no waiting between courses. I would highy recommend the Beef and the cheesecake !! The staff were friendly and the music was great.”

“We needed somewhere affordable and comfortable to stay whilst attending the spring fair, not only is Haya house that but scrupulously clean and the landlady is fabulous. We arrived after 9 but she was still friendly and polite, I have a nasty cold at the moment so she very kindly made me hot lemon, ginger and honey last night and this morning. I also cannot drink cows milk so this morning at breakfast when I asked for soya she went to the shop immediately to buy some. A lovely lady, a comfortable guest house and will certainly return.”

“Very clean and comfort room. Easy access to local attractions including dudley zoo and castle and the black country living museum both in minutes walking distance. The breakfast was lovely and had a great selection and the staff were very Friendly”

“Booked this venue for our daughter’s 6th birthday and couldn't have chosen a better venue. We had originally attended a family mehndi party there and we instantly fell in love with the venue. With the most amazing deco, location, parking facilities, the venue itself is clean, modern and spacious. The decor is also done in house, we went for the Barbie theme and they exceeded our expectations. Our daughter loved the entire deco and ambiance. We had also ordered the catering from them and the service was just amazing, couldn’t fault them in any way. The service is great, they do their best to make sure your day runs smoothly, and nothing is too much for them. Brother Hussein provided fantastic customer service from the beginning to the end. They were all very accommodating. I highly recommend booking your events there.”

“Friendly little place. The room I had was large and well equipped. The bed was very comfy and the room was warm. The shower was really powerful and lovey and hot. The staff were kind and helpful. This is a budget hotel but it does exactly what it says on the tin. The breakfast was a bit sad but was as advertised”

“2 night stay here for work and I happened upon The Gainsborough House Hotel at the last minute. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff could not do enough for me. I was welcomed with a free glass of wine, which was just what I needed after a long journey and the lounge/bar area was warm and cosy. My room was large and again, spotless. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the room had some useful extras, such as hairdryer, full length mirror, iron and ironing board - oh and a bath! Great free wifi and large TV, coffee/tea and biscuits. Travelling for work a lot, I often find mediocre hotels and am happy to leave, however, The Gainsborough was just brilliant in every way, including a wide range of breakfast foods on offer. I would highly recommend and will certainly use this hotel again. The main shout out is for the staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly - I haven't had such a warm welcome in a while!”
