“Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a stay (including Ironing board, Iron and hair dryer). Food was excellent and served in a timely manner! Although it's on a main road, the car park is easy to access, and very large, and the road noise does not affect the rooms, restaurant, or bar area! All the staff we met, from the receptionist, to the bar staff and servers, and the cleaning staff we met in the morning, were very friendly, helpful and added to a very enjoyable stay!”

“I was travelling with my toddler and parents. The staff obliged me with an early check-in for one of the rooms, which was very considerate. The location is great and property itself is very nice. “Lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are lovely, plenty of space. Thought gone into it like plug sockets in important places, bedside and next to vanity mirror. Often overlooked. Good quality toiletries much appreciated. Only comment is that reception staff were cool and not very welcoming although efficient. Would stay again and use novotel again.”

“Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Bath. Perfect central location, within 20 mins walk of all the main attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a Premier Plus room, an extra treat, and well worth it. The room was lovely and the hotel quite peaceful.”

“We have just returned from a wonderful weekend spent in Bath. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The whole building is clean, charming and characterful. The food is very tasty and filling. “Really lovely staff. Two guys who were working this morning were kind and helpful. And the guy who worked last night was friendly and helpful too. Good facilities. Great rooms that are rather modern and rustic. Quite loud at times due to night life and having a bar and activity area below. The rooms have good facilities and are very modern, however my room smelt like leather cleaner… wasn’t a huge fan of that but I’m sure others might like it. My toilet was also was slightly dirty when I arrived but I understand you can’t expect them to be spotless everywhere.”

“I stayed here for work recently, two weekends running. It's the ideal spot. Exactly what you need it to be but above everything else, the staff are unbelievably friendly. They couldn't be more helpful actually and on my return the second week, they remembered me. Particular mention goes to Poppy who is just lovely. She is so good at her job and has a lovely, warm nature. Rachael was a diamond. She was so accommodating when our large party arrived for dinner - all absolutely exhausted from a huge work day - we hadn't made a reservation but she made it work and we were all beyond grateful. Finally to Ben, also in the restaurant. He was just lovely and really warm, friendly and patient. 10/10 for customer service. You made a long work spell away from my family that little bit easier. Thank you.”

“Brilliant Service for our two day conference with almost 40 delegates attending from across the country. The Drawing Room was the perfect space for presentations and working groups, with space on one side for a grazing station and tables for a working lunch. The room was set up exactly as requested and lovely and toasty during a cold November. The team were very adaptable to our ever changing plans and it was very easy to arrange meetings in person as well as liaise over email. The accommodation was gorgeous and everyone was very happy with their rooms. We also hosted a private dinner in the Garden Room, which again was set up exactly as requested with space to network. It ran to our timetable taking into account welcome drinks, speeches and a three course meal. Again it was lovely and toasty for a cold and wet November. And lunch in the brassiere on the final day was delicious. Complements to the entire team. Would highly recommend!”

“Clean room comfy bed. Staff very nice and helpful very quiet. Location excellent for wells city centre and cheddar caves. Menu linited but adequate for a short stay. We would stay again.”

“Had a lovely afternoon tea at Stanton Manor Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and everything was well looked after from start to finish. The tea itself was excellent, and we enjoyed a peaceful walk around the gardens afterwards, which really added to the experience. A great spot for a relaxing afternoon.”

“A hotel where you can take your pets! This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are clean, well laid-out and a decent size. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking at the nearby Millennium Square car park is discounted and the buffet-style breakfast is plentiful and delicious.”

“Amazing setting, great hotel. The staff were warm and friendly. Lily on reception was welcoming and knowledgeable and made us feel at home. The supervisor Harriet was also great with giving a little bit of local information about Bristol to help our trip be even better. Tilly was also on hand on our last day to help us enjoy our stay! “Booked a last minute stay, upon check in the staff were friendly and helpful, we were informed that we could pay for an evening meal at the hotel, however we opted to walk over the road where there were plenty of options to eat and pick up a few essentials. The room was clean and comfortable, and after a couple days at the seaside the hot shower with decent pressure was a godsend. We had an issue with one of our neighbouring rooms late into the night but when we mentioned this to the Manager, Josh, he couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic to the situation. We honestly can't praise the hotel and staff enough they were so busy and barely stopped. The breakfast was brill and with plenty of options for my picky kids. Overall brilliant stay and will be looking to book with Holiday in again in the future!”

“A decent hotel with a good standard. My room was lovely and clean. Teas and coffees. All pretty standard stuff. The staff were lovely and very helpful as my card key played up on one occasion. Would be happy to stay again Worst I can say is no free parking. Bit it is the city centre I suppose”

“This is a very basic sleeping facility. Food is available at the hotel and Spa, and at a Cafe just beside the Lodge. Ample packing. Only flip side is the checking in at the hotel and spa, I came in with family in the rain and had to run back by foot to check in. Ambience is very lovely as well.”

“Very nice, cheap and friendly hotel. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarettes, but when we said about it they where very quickly to change it to another room, with a better view and with neutral smell. They did confuse our breakfast ( which was included with a room, for one night, for 2, 70£ ) but to fix it they gave us extra food. Was lovely, would definitely recommend it, if You don't want to break Your bank and still have a cosy night.”

“Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and local parks. This is also a dog friendly hotel which is great! A doggy bowl was provided but I brought a doggy bed. Chose a single room which was cosy and adequate for 1. I had a a very peaceful night's sleep and the bed, although single, was very comfy! The only downside was that the room was located on the 3rd floor with no lifts available, so next time I will definitely choose differently! In addition,the car park was full when I arrived, but I was able to park directly in front for a £10 fee for a parking permit which was valid for over a week. Unfortunately, parking can be difficult in Clifton Village, so I did not mind. I will definitely be returning for the location especially.”

“Had a really lovely stay at the Rodney Hotel. Great room with very comfortable bed and an immaculate bathroom and good shower. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly (Katie, Juan and Suki). And the food was outstanding (we had the afternoon tea which was fantastic, and a really nice breakfast). Would highly recommend.”

“Only lost one star because we unfortunately chose the smallest caravan and although shower great, tinsy sink and tiny space to squeeze past to get to toilet! Otherwise caravan perfect for our needs. Staff nothing too much trouble and guest house itself and food excellent . We'd definitely come to stay again. Perfect position for exploring on foot. Thank you!”

“30 members of Fitin30’s ladies gym had a delightful Christmas get together yesterday at The Beaufort. Enormous portions and plenty of veg, along with very friendly and attentive staff made it a perfect lunch. Thank you Lucy and her lovely team, we had a great time.”

“We had stayed in a Travelodge the previous night and this place was lightyears better. The room is excellent and the location is well situated in the area. However, what makes it really great are the reception staff. The two women on reception were friendly, good with our boy and gave the impression that they couldn't do enough for us, should we need anything.”

“Stayed for one night and had a nice, spacious room looking out onto the river. I liked the modern ambience of my room, however the bed was a bit too hard for my liking and I could hear a lot of noise coming from the riverside and the corridors, so it didn't seem like it was very well soundproofed. However I still managed to get a good nights sleep, probably more because I'd already had quite a few beers lol, so these issues were just minor. However the best thing about this hotel is the city centre location. Nicely perched on the riverside and just mere seconds to all the nice craft beer pubs on King Street. Will stay again!”

“We attended a wedding at the hotel recently which impressed me so much that I felt compelled to leave a review. The event went flawlessly, everyone in the team executed their role to perfection. The wedding breakfast was incredible, and to scale (not a huge number but still) makes it even more impressive. We stayed overnight and the bedroom was a little tired, but super clean with a really comfortable bed. The location is stunning. Waking up in the morning, overlooking the view was breathtaking. The buffet breakfast was sufficient and ok to start us off on our way home. Top marks to the team! Well done all of you and thank you x”
