“Excellent private vets, when the PDSA are unable or unwilling to help. (That's even if you can get registered as a new member with PDSA) Medivet Anfield are amazing and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like most private veterinary practices. Quite the opposite, relatively cheap, comparatively and the level of care and professionalism provided is above and beyond what you would expect for a practice for the very reasonable prices they charge. I can't express how surprised I was at the level of quality of care provided for my pets. They are amazing and I would highly recommend them to any pet owner. Even over the donation and apparent charitable nature of the PDSA, I'd rather pay a little bit more and have my pets properly looked after by professionals who aren't rushing under pressure and having you wait for ages with sometimes uncertainty about the treatment you will receive. Don't get me wrong. I'm not slating the PDSA as they play a vital role for many people for different reasons. I'm just saying, in my humble opinion, if you have the choice, this vet is preferable for me 100% of the time! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Very friendly staff. With a large mixed bull breed I often find people scared of my dog but the staff here were so welcoming. We used hydrotherapy and the specialist was very patient. Will definitely be back.”

“We have been taking our dogs here for a few years. They are happy to go and we are happy with the way they are cared for. The fact we can take their own food means no upset tummies when we get them back. We also take their own bedding and toys. We get a small discount for 2 in a bed and for our own food. Their accommodation is big and heated when needed. Hayley and Mike and their staff are professional but very friendly. Our 5 dogs love them and we highly recommend them.”

Also, when we needed to make a vet claim they were super fast at getting the information across to our insurance company which meant that we got the money back much quicker. “Our Bichon Poppy has been seen by Rohan since she was a tiny puppy, and she’s now 10 years old. He’s such a caring person and an amazing vet, we feel lucky to have found him and always feel Poppy is in good hands with him. Poppy is quite nervous at the vets and it’s really helped that Rohan has always taken such care with her and tried to keep appointments as stress free as possible. As owners we have always found him so approachable and always willing to explain everything in simple terms, which is so reassuring when Poppy is ill.”

“Village vets Crosby are always there when needed. Amazing practice . ALL the staff are amazing. Christine the vet was exceptional as usual . We wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else. She listened to our concerns and thoroughly checked our dogs before prescribing medication. She gave helpful advice regarding keeping our pets safe and stress free during fireworks season. “Whenever I take my dog to the clinic I am always welcomed with a smile and a greeting by name for both myself and my dog, normally by Darren the receptionist. He is always super chatty and friendly and makes you feel at ease whilst you wait for your appointment. The staff in general at the clinic are friendly and accommodating and everything is explained really well and they are always very thorough when treating my dog. I would recommend EyeVet to anyone looking for a specialist surgery.”

“We have been with White Cross Vets for 8 years, 1 year at West Derby and 7 years at St Helens. We have always had exceptional service from both branches. We can’t thank White Cross Vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they gave to our beautiful boy, Salem. We found out in February he sadly had cancer and we recently lost him flying over the rainbow bridge. A special thank you to Radka. There are no words big enough to express our gratitude. From the very beginning she was gentle, kind, and so loving with Salem. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and her empathy and warmth brought us comfort during the most heartbreaking time. She treated him like he mattered, like he was more than just a pet and that meant everything to us. Losing Salem has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we will always remember the love and dignity he was given at the end. Thank you, Radka and everyone at White Cross Vets for being there for him and for us. We’ll never forget your kindness.”

The Vets and Staff at Parker and Crowther were a tremendous help to us and we can't thank them enough. We took Flash when he was five he's seven now. He went yesterday, they always attend to him extremely well and we always feel reassured. He was very overweight when we adopted him they helped us with all advice and he looks like a different dog now. We love him so much, Our beautiful King Charles (Flash) attended Parker and Crowther vets in Birkdale yesterday for his injection and annual check. They were extremely good to him and treated him in a very professional manner.”

“I was recommended these from another dog lover, I did use green lipped muscle, but wanted to add the glucosamine to my dogs diet too as I had read this was good. I am so pleased with the results, my Frenchie is running better and seems more agile since our first 120. They are big but so easy to crush with the back of a spoon, and then easy to hide in her food. I am just signing up for the subscription, as they’re even cheaper, and I will continue giving her these daily from now on.”

“Absolute diamonds these vets. My dog had a choking incident and after attempting everything we had to take him to a vet and these vets jumped to our aid. We weren't registered but yet they dropped everything there and then to help us with our dog. Fortunately my dog managed to dislodge the chew and it was all okay. “Fabulous kennels with staff that love your fur baby as much as you do. Heated kennels daily walks and lots of cuddles, it's a holiday for my Bella she loves it. Used this kennel for 20 years for both my dogs and will never go anywhere else.”
