They’ve been walking our dogs for a really long time (over 6 years), and the bond they’ve built with them is truly special. It’s obvious how much our dogs love them—they get so excited and enthusiastic whenever they arrive at the house! Reliable, trustworthy, and incredibly kind, they have gone above and beyond to ensure our furry family members are happy, safe, and well-cared for (including persevering with a car sick whippet puppy!). “Found at the Riverside retail park. Plenty of parking but can get busy at the weekends. Vets 4 pets in store. Grooming parlour. Aquatics section. A few live animals in pens near the front door. Plenty of stock available as quite a large store. Currently new dog coat lines added... Till service was fast and efficient.”

“Always a warm welcome from the staff when you walk in as the tills are right by the entrance. Ironic because the doors let in a lot of cold air and the staff are freezing during winter months.”

“Andrea is extremely efficient and flexible assisting us twice now and this last time at extremely short notice. She attends to the needs of our multiple animals with a confident ease which includes love and attention. Andrea also takes the time to communicate with us at our request giving us peace of mind all is well whilst we are away. Thank you very much Andrea, a first class service.”

“For an affordable and stress free stop on a long journey, this hotel is really all you need. We received a friendly welcome from Claude, the room was comfortable and clean, with nice Dove toiletries, and breakfast in the morning was tasty and included in the room rate. Parking was free and we didn't notice any motorway noise.”

All the staff on the shop floor that we encountered seemed to genuinely love and care for the animals around them. Thank you very much.”

“Brought a rabbit hutch with all the accessories very happy rabbit and the women was so helpful definitely recommend if you want a personal service, also helps that they ordered fruitless flies for me which was great so they will do personal treatment aswell hoping they get tarantulas in! “Went today to try and find out some information on how to look after fish as me and my partner are planning on getting some fish as first pets. Member of staff (didn’t get his name) was really helpful and answered all our questions and was giving us some advice on what to do best with looking after them. It was really nice that it didn’t feel like he was pressuring us to buy things but more just giving advice, it made it such a better experience. I was worried due to us looking young that he wouldn’t take us seriously but his level of professionalism and his knowledge was brilliant, really wish I got his name. Going tomorrow to go and get our fish!! If he is there tomorrow I will make sure to name him as he was brilliant”

“Buckden Pharmacy is outstanding. I get my meds delivered and so does my husband. My husband is taking cancer drugs and the pharmacy staff ensure he gets his delivery on time. They are so helpful when phoning and the delivery people are fantastic, kind and friendly. I praise everyone, such a brilliant service. Huge thanks”

“The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”

“Great location just off the main road, short run into town if needed! Very clean comfortable rooms, lovely staff and great restaurant opposite. Will be back soon and look forward to their refurbished rooms in time.”

“As always Hilton was fab. What really stood out about this location was the staff, don't get me wrong they're always lovely. We had our 2 yr old with us, when checking in the ladies at reception moved our room to the ground floor as lifts were being serviced when we came. So thoughtful, saved us a lot of trouble. They offered lego, crayons to colour with, and wordsearch for little one. Breakfast the team were attentive, again they saw little one and asked if we would like children cutlery and brought it out. Another staff member came over and let us know they could do waffles or pancakes for little one. We went with pancakes and he loved it! Same staff member (I'm cross with myself that I didn't get her name) when we getting ready to leave asked 'will we be seeing you for breakfast tomorrow?' We were just there for the night, she asked if we had plans for the day, my husband was taking our little one to a kids play whilst I had to go to work. Which she gave some solid recommendations on, glad she did because the place she'd said had been amazing. We were at Hilton in Bath earlier this year, this extra care from the staff didn't happen there. Again please don't misunderstand they had been lovely. But this level of care is what made my husband and I say we won't be bothering with any other hotel when we visit Northampton now. I know...long winded. But this family of 3 was very grateful and I truly wanted to convery that. Thank you!”

“Can't comment on the bedrooms as I didn't use them. The conference and events area however, is fantastic. It's really spacious and very clean. The rooms can be made up for any event. They are warm, welcoming and they can take away the business feel for more private events. The food and drinks provided are delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful.”
