“What a superb place! Everything about it is wonderful. I had a lovely welcome gift on arrival, my dog particularly enjoyed his treats. The huge, secure garden was wonderful! . The Stable was so beautiful, everything you could possibly need was in there. Hilary and Mark were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.”

“Lovely homely and clean cottage, lots of charm and character, lovely and warm on a windy Novembers evening, lovely setting. Our hosts left loads of towels, shower gels and a loaf butter coffee sugar milk and farm eggs. Also cereals. So if you get here late you could certainly eat! Our only criticism was our own choice of not staying longer as we couldn't fully enjoy the cottage with such a small amount of time. Will definitely revisit and have a bbq on the court yard.”

“Our little cockapoo has had a wonderful time at Steph’s whilst we have been doing one-to-one training with Do-Littles. Steph’s straightforward tuition and down-to-earth attitude makes it a pleasure to attend the sessions. I can’t believe how much we’ve learnt in the 4 sessions we’ve had and look forward to joining the group sessions. I feel confident taking the dog for a walk and letting him off the lead, knowing he will come back to me using the various methods of recall that we’ve been taught. I no longer have a dog that is always trying to nip at my ankles and will do as he is told!”

“We’ve been using Brilliant Barkers to help us with our anxious Jack Russel who came out of lock down with a fear of strangers. We’ve used several trainers before but Kirsty beats them all. She has listened to us and given us very practical training techniques to build up our dogs confidence. There is a lot to take in with Dog training, but Kirsty is very patient and works through things carefully so you can make progress. Our dog is still nervous, but we are well onto the road of improvement. Kirsty has taught us that things don’t happen overnight, but simple improvements do, which eventually build up to big improvements. Our dog now lets strangers touch him instead of nipping them! It doesn’t get much better than that! Highly recommend.”

“Just took my dogs for the first time to have their nails cut. Very professional service and in line with current Covid-19 regulations. Dogs were in and out in no time and I was advised that one of my dogs nails didn't need cutting so wasn't charged for her. Will definitely be returning again and can recommend to anyone as lady has over 30 years experience”

“Had our first appointment for our puppy today for a general wash and teeth clean, service was excellent and very friendly. They were very loving towards our dog which made him feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived and he loved the fuss and treats”

“I had never had a dog that needed grooming before so finding a good one was important to me. I saw Peak Pups ad in our local coffee shop and it came recommended. From the start Laura was and remains fantastic our malshi loves going there for a pampering as it's as if she knows she'll come out looking gorgeous. Laura is always on the end of the phone with after-care advice and help if you need it. Everyone I know who goes to Peak Pups says the same thing , Laura is a lovely lady who cares for her clients and their owners and always makes sure your four legged friend is looked after and looking amazing. Forget any negative reviews they are talking rubbish. I have not been asked to place this review I say it how it is and Laura is the best in the area by a country mile.”

“Sam is the best dog groomer we have been to and Isla always comes back looking beautiful. She is a cocker spaniel who is very vocal about any grooming activity. Sam’s caring and patient approach means minimum stress for Isla. We would highly recommend Sam’s grooming service. The precautions for COVID-19 give confidence that the dogs and their owners are being well looked after.”

“Ella always does a great job with my Pom x Japanese Spitz. PomBear can be a little difficult when it comes to bath-time but Ella adapts to each individual dog making sure the dogs in her care are not forcefully groomed or stressed out. A highly recommend Ella, I’ve been taking my dog for years.”

“House Of Waggles is the perfect example of doggy day cares. We set about looking at day cares for our dog when we found out builders would be in and out of the house for a while, we found House of Waggles. We met with Nadia and Phil and they put us right at ease, introducing our boy to all the other dogs in their daily care. Picking him up in the morning and dropping off at night, in their very own school bus. Our boy has never looked back, and neither have we, he's socialised, groomed, walked, trained and cuddled, everything anyone could want for their dog during days at work. Nadia, Phil and the team are committed to the best for these dogs and you can see that as soon as you meet them. I can't credit them enough we get updates, photos of what the dogs get up to, paw-traits, paw paintings and pool party's. And of course helped us with training methods that we can continue at home and if I have any questions they've all been so helpful to us. Thanks House Of Waggles!”

“Sharon has been our go to for years (prior to setting up at 'The Dog Grooming Shop') and always takes care of our little Shih-Tzu 'Ted' with perfect trims and clips etc. Always has time to fit us in within a reasonable timeframe and always welcoming. Premises are always spotless and location is great. Would highly recommend (and have to many family and friends).”
