“I am a big fan of Waitrose offering free coffee as a jesture not just to their customers but to their local community. Many people like me will do some shopping here not just because it saves 3 pounds on a coffee bit because it makes you feel welcome, valued and part of a community rather than just another anonymous customer. Food is surprisingly competively priced and veg is better quality for same price as anywhere.”

“Staff have always been very helpful and understanding. The few times I've spoken to the pharmacists they've always been willing to help and assist. A gentleman pharmacist in October-ish 2024 went above and beyond after I was sent there by my GP for an issue that shouldn't have been dealt with at the pharmacy. Service is always prompt, can't fault them.”

“Having moved to Penistone in the last few months, I needed to find a new pharmacy, which isn't something I was looking forward to (I've mostly had stressful experiences with pharmacies elsewhere when it comes to getting my monthly medication, prescribed for a long-term health condition). “Had an amazing experience with this vets! My cat was transferred here for an overnight stay, when I arrived I was heartbroken as I had just been told by our regular vet that our cat could potentially pass away, vets now were so kind to me when I arrived and gave me tissues and even time alone to cuddle my pet. They decided to do surgery on my cat and were open and honest with me the whole time about costs and risks, they even helped me sort out my insurance on my phone as I was a wreck. Thankfully the surgery went okay and they managed to pull something out that was stuck in his belly. Even my regular vet didn’t do this, instead told me he possibly has a rare condition and could pass away, if it wasn’t for this vets I dread to think what would have happened next. I just want to thank the reception staff and vets, and anyone else who was involved as he is now recovering and doing much better and for your kindness, support and sympathy as it did not go unnoticed.”
